Easy to apply and bunnings staff tint it for you. Drying time is faster than 2hrs. A second coat is needed though. Wattyl is my favourite but this paint runs a sold second only due to coverage.

I purchased Taubmans sunproof paint in gloss (Dulux colour - Lexicon) from Bunnings in Rozelle two weeks ago. I used it to paint my new front picket fence. The result is fantastic! The coverage was pretty good after 2 coats but it needed a third coat to make it seamless since my fence was bare wood. The consistency is great and it was pretty easy to get nice even coats on. I’m going to buy some more in a dark colour for new near fencing in my backyard.

I originally painted my new house exterior (rendered walls) 18 years ago with this product and was happy. Now the eastern and western walls had faded slightly with sun damage but that is expected. Overall I was happy with the product and I have just repainted the house with Sunproof. The paint is easy to apply with rollers and brushes on concrete render and cement board above the windows and alfresco ceiling. The house looks new again.

I don’t know if I got a dud, because apparently this is got a four star rating, but my paint is so watery and thin that it’s like it’s had water added to it. It’s slightly bubbly when you paint it and it would take me six coats to get a decent opaque white coat on my trim. do not recommend
I purchased 15L of this paint in the woodland grey colour. We have pine fencing on almost three sides of our property, so a lot to cover. I sprayed two coats with a spray gun and couldn’t be happier with the result, the fence looks brand new! Great colour, goes on with a green tinge but dries slate grey. Very happy!
Taubmans sunproof is great paint! It's been 2 years since I painted my fibro house & have been told it still looks really good & looks like i have just painted it. Its in full sun all day & holding up well. As its a white house the dirt washes right off with the hose. I will only use this paint for all exterior jobs. Tough stuff!
Our painter used Taubmans Sunproof on our brand new renovated home and after approximately 3 years all the walls exposed to sun have faded significantly! It looks like it’s 15 years old and detracts significantly from the look of the house. Bunnings told my painter I would have to follow up the complaint with Taubmans myself despite buying the product from Bunnings. After Taubmans finally came out to have a look they admitted the technical term for the fading colour was ‘chalking’ which is essentially the paint breaking down due to UV exposure. They recommended that I wash the entire house regularly with detergent and water to help contain the fading, not so easy with a 2 storey house! Purchased this paint after trying a cheap and nasty brand that just did not work. This paint however, that was recommended by the paint manager Briley, is very good paint. I used it to paint my front 6x1 rough sawn pine fence and was surprised just how far it went. The consistency seemed just right for filling any minor cracks in the timber which was a big plus for my application. OK it was a bit expensive, but I am convinced now that you get what you pay for. I love this paint and am on my way to get another 15 litre bucket for other jobs. Highly recommend.
It's a quality paint ... no doubt about that ... I've used it to paint a pergola, stairs and a retaining wall and 4 years later I have no complaints ... but recently, from the 'grey' coloured range, I got the 'Mountaintop' tint to paint the concrete block front wall to match the deepish blue front gate and merbau slats and everything else ... in the shade, it comes up the perfect colour but in bright sunlight it has a pale purple / lilac tinge that doesn't match anything ... you just have to be careful with your colour selection.
