Fendrihan gets 1 point for their excellent service and prompt shipping. Love this company for that! The Jermyn Street collection gets 1 point for a great smell! The smell is very subtle but refreshing on your face, must be the Alloe but not totally sure where the scents are coming from. The soap itself looses stars because I found #1 it doesn’t lather as nicely as other Taylor of old bond soaps, I had a lot of difficulty getting a consistent lather and had to reload. This could be because my Kent BLK12 has an extra large knot and I didn’t load enough on my first pass. Secondly I found that the soap was not Slick enough for a straight razor shave which led me to my last point. I will try this soap again just Incase there were errors on my end and if I do find these errors I will revise or place a follow up review.

it was a gift for my husband, and he couldn't be more happy with quality of this shaving cream. You need a small amount of cream to make a foam, scent is amazing, not too strong. My husband has a very sensitive skin and this cream doesn't irritate his skin at all. One big concern, why we didn't buy it earlier? ) Together with Fendrihan shaving brush and shaving bowl the morning shaving routine became an Art. Thanks from both of us )

This is by far the best sensitive skin shave cream I’ve ever used! I’ve been shaving for 30+ years and I’ve struggled with sensitive skin for about as long. I’ve tried many different brands, even ones that advertise “clinically tested” for sensitive skin. Some were okay but most were a total fail. Taylor of Old Bond Street, Jermyn Street Collection is outstanding! This shave cream whips into great lather, it has a very nice scent and it’s super slick, my EJ DE89 just glides across my skin. Absolutely zero irritation and it leaves my skin feeling moisturized, not dry and tight. I wish I had discovered this shave cream 30 years ago, better late than never. If you have sensitive skin I highly recommend you give this a try.

For Valentine's Day I decided to get my boyfriend the sensitive skin shaving cream. As a side note he has extremely sensitive skin and his job requires him to be clean shaven. So far he loves it and his skin has not been as irritated with his other shaving cream. After opening the cream the scent was a bit strong but honestly made me melt. After he did his thing and washed it off I noticed the scent does linger throughout the day. However it was light enough to not suffocate him (or me) but strong enough to catch a whiff. Highly recommend for those with SO's who have sensitive skin or have sensitive skin themselves
When I went to Kent I had no clue what I was looking for but was tired of shaving irritation and wanted to try something new. The person that helped me was fantastic showed me all the products and gave me some cost effective solutions to try before I jumped off the deep end. Even demonstrated how to whip up a good lather. The TOBS has been great, and I’m hoping to try some new ones in the future.
A little goes a long way. Gives a decent lather, even compared to more expensive products. I love the scent, but that's subjective. It's a pleasant, clean scent. Awesome product for the price. I have sensitive skin and this didn't irritate at all. Will be buying TOBS again for sure.
This is gradeA quality product. Really changed the experience and results for me when I wet shave. I was worried about what the scent would be like but when I opened it up the fragrance was very welcoming. I love the smell of sandalwood and have the Taylor sandal cream product as well, But it irritates my skin just enough to get slight razor burn and bumps. Almost 3 months now since I started wetshaving and glad I made the move because I have come to learn that I have sensitive skin. I kind of new that cuz I always had razor burn/bumps using cartridge razors but also know people that did too. I bought Taylor's sensitive cream and no more razor burn or bumps to an extent. I still do but thats my fault because i just can't allow the hair to grow long enough in order ... MoreThis is gradeA quality product. I bought this shaving cream to replace my similar Proraso brand cream. The scent of this is very light, in fact barely noticeable which I really like. Smell is pretty much gone after washing off. I find that it lathers substantially better than the Proraso cream which I also prefer. As for the skin sensitive I think its pretty similar to the other product I used but maybe a slight improvement. I have very sensitive skin which tends to get razor burn. I haven't noticed a wild improvement with this cream but perhaps a little. One thing to note is that the Taylor of bond street cream has less of a numbing menthol to it than the Proraso version. If you want your face to have that numbing burning sensation this may not be the cream for you. Overall I like it quite well. ... I do wish there was a miracle cream that lathered with ridiculous ease, prevented all razor burn, and left your skin feeling invigorated after dragging a sharp blade across it but alas I think that is for dreams. All in all, this is the best shave cream I've ever used (with a preference for low smell and thick lather). I would definitely recommend as an improvement over any of that junk you buy at convenience stores.
Like most men, I've been using canned shave cream all my life and complaining about sensitive skin, razor burn, and ingrown hairs. A few years ago I purchased a high quality badger hair brush and have changed razors several times, but with only minimal results. I recently purchased the TOBS Jermyn Street shave cream and absolutely can not be more pleased with the results. It took me a time or two to get the right water content in the mixture, but even when I didn't get it absolutely correct, I still got a better shave than at any point in my life previously.I am still using my badger hair brush and my BIC 4-blade razor, but this change in my shaving routine made all the difference in the world. I used to have a shadow as soon as I stopped shaving, but now, I can easily go a day without any shadow. For the first time in my shaving life, I can actually shave and come to the end of my pattern and not worry about the cream being dry and just yanking hairs out of my face. I know several people have said the moisturizing effect is better with other manufacturers, but I have no complaints. Maybe it's because I have a sample size of 1, but I couldn't be happier. I no longer need an aftershave and my face has NEVER felt better.I can't say enough good things about this product from TOBS. The smell is what I consider very mild. It just smells manly. I can't put my finger on what the exact smell is, but it's very pleasant.Overall, if I could give it 10 stars, I would, and would recommend this without reservation to anyone.
I have used many different brands of shave cream and so when I say this is the best yet, it means that for me, it is the best I have tried so far. I shave with a Feather razor and use Feather blades. I have nicks using other creams. I have not had one nick yet with this shaving cream. To me that is testimony to a shave cream with good lather and coating on the face. While shaving the razor glides effortlessly over the face and I get a nice super close shave without being cut up. I like the scent, which is very light and refreshing, not overly powerful, just right. This shaving cream is very dense, what that means is it is packed firmly in the container. Some I have used are like whip cream in a container. At first I was wondering if this shave cream would lather up. ... Some I have used are like whip cream in a container. At first I was wondering if this shave cream would lather up. I swirled the shave brush on the top of the cream in the container then began the process in my shave cup. I was absolutely amazed at how much lather I got. With the soft creams I can see the content in the container being depleted. I have used this shave cream for three shaves now and there is no noticeable depletion of the cream in the container. What that means to me is, this shave cream is a super value. I paid about the same price I paid of other creams I have used but I expect I will get twice as many shaves out of the container as I have from other creams. Without making comment I will list some of the other crams I have used so you the reader will have a better comparison. Jack Black, Art of Shaving, many different scents. eoShave, Proraso. There are so many products out there, it could be an endless quest to try them all, so I tend to look at reviews and just try the ones with high ratings. Jermyn Street Collection has my thumbs up. I will try other Taylor of Old Bond Street creams and see if there is one I like better. It will be hard to imagine that there will be. For me this is a great product at a great price, with excellent performance. If I never tried another one and this is the only one I used, I would be very satisfied.
