This wedge was an excellent addition to my bag. Love the full face grooves with just the right amount of bounce. Excellent for pitching/chipping around the green. Very easy to generate the spin needed to finish close to the cup. Typical outstanding TM quality. Couldn’t beat the price!

Purchased a TW sand wedge with a few custom modifications, I ordered with an alternate shaft and bent strong one degree to be 55*. Club was shipped directly from Taylormade quickly which I was happy about. Unfortunately after having the club checked by a reputable club builder, basically every spec was off. The length which was supposed to be standard was over half an inch short, the loft was 56, and the swingweight was significantly lighter than what’s listed as standard partially due to the shortened length. I am extremely disappointed with the build quality from TM and expected more from such a big/reputable brand in this industry. Now I’m stuck with a club that is too short and would have to use a shaft extension to play at standard length. Subpar quality ... Subpar quality control from the build shop at TM which unfortunately seems to be a relatively common issue. Side note the club head and grind are great. I’m just disappointed with my experience ordering a club with custom specs.

I saw RBG was having a flash sale on Taylor Made wedges for $75 each in “like new” condition. When they arrived, they were either cleaned up and polished, or brand spanking new! I couldn’t believe it. When RBG tells you something, you should believe them. Can’t wait to see what the next flash sale brings. Thanks RBG!!!

The wedge is perfect for filling a gap in my golf bag. The quality of the design and build allows me to hit the ball crisply whilst also giving me flexibility around the green improving my shortgame. The service from GCA was fantastics with prompt shipping and well packaged. Will definitely be a return customer!
I love all my Taylormade clubs. I am a new player, just 2 months into golf and this company has been so kind to me and has helped me so much. The clubs are amazing and I cant believe I am hitting the ball so well, so soon. I think all new players should go out and get a great set of clubs right from the start, because then you mentally realize its not the club when you miss a shot. .You know you have the best tools in your hands and it makes you totally focus on your form and not blame the club.. I highly recommend Taylormade because their service has also been wonderful and their people are so nice to work with. My biggest problem in golf now is that my boyfriend loves my new Taylormade driver and I cant cut the shaft down to fit me yet !!
Great wedge! I went back to the MG3 wedges after trying Vokey's. The MG3 wedges just feel/work better for me. I have both the chrome and black versions of this club, with the chrome being standard bounce and black the high bounce. Makes it super easy to grab the right club when I head to the course for the conditions I'm expecting.
I don’t like giving 5 stars for anything, and I really try to check myself to make sure I’m not just “in the moment” when I leave reviews. That being said, TaylorMade got these wedges right. I mistakenly purchased one at a big box (thought I was buying the Vokey), liked it so much I came back to the TaylorMade site to use my loyalty points to get the exact same wedge in a different loft.My 56 degree is money from the sand. Makes a nice crisp sound and swings through with little effort. My 50 degree replaces my PW, and from the first shot with it, I had full confidence in it. I haven’t hit one bad shot with the 50 degree - I’ve messed up a couple from the bunkers with the 56, but it wasn’t because of the club! These wedges join the HL SIM Max fairway wood as my ... I was playing golf with my Dad, and I was able to hit a great tee shot on a short par 4. However, the green was protected by a bunker to the left and one directly in front of me. To make it more difficult, the pin was fairly close to the bunker situated in front of me so precision was a must. If that wasn't enough, I could see the top half of the pin but not the hole itself due to the bunker blocking the cup itself.Without many options I took out my wedge, pitched it over the bunker, and hoped for the best.To my shock I couldn't see the ball so I said to myself, "No way...". After making my way to the cup, looking down, I almost couldn't believe it. It was my ball. My First Eagle Ever!Much appreciated TaylorMade. You helped create a moment that my Dad and I ... This wedge has a solid feel in the hands, a great sound when pure striking, control better than expected and looks simply superb. By far the best wedge on the market and with the low price was very surprising. Going with the low bounce option, it has been easier than ever to swing a bit heavier on a thick rough, short, greenside shot an stick the landing with very little to no runout. The 56°08° has outperformed all other wedges of close degree that I own and has quickly became a favorite. So much so that I'm patiently awaiting the arrival of a 50°09° ⛳️
These Milled Grind 3 wedges are versatile for my game. I can hit it square or open it up on tight or fluffy lies. But the biggest difference I have experienced is how the MG3 gets the ball out of the bunker. The wedge seems smoother and glides easier (sorry Ping) through the sand (and on grass for that matter). And this is in hard-packed, wet sand or standard muni, coarse sand. My technique is not all that great, but I'm guessing it is due to the milled grind sole, like it won't get stuck. Regarding the grooves and "raw" face, the teeth do seem to grab and spin the ball more than my Vokeys, and I play a firm ball. If there is one complaint, the MG3 definitely feels harder than Vokeys with the MG3 using a Tour Issue shaft. Not sure if that has something to do with ... While I am still getting used to them, I feel more confident out of the bunker and in trying different shots, like flops to a tight pin location. Both of which I normally dread. While I wish the wedge felt a little softer, I really can't complain about the versatility and confidence it has given me.
