I have played most of my life with a Driver/3wood/3 UT Iron set up. After some issues holding greens with my UT and the 3 Wood feeling more like a placeholder. I thought I would try a 5 and 7 wood. I cannot say enough about how amazing these clubs are. The 5 wood is hot and provides enough distance to not make the gap between it and the driver feel too big. Not to mention it is so much easier to hit off the fairway. The 7 wood might be one of the most incredible clubs I have ever owned, so easy to hit from any lie. I hit into probably 90% of Par 5s I play, such a versatile club. I loved them so much I got the 9 wood to replace my 4 iron. And like the 7 wood it is so easy to hit. However, I did purchase some high end shafts for these clubs separate than what TM offers, so while the performance has been fantastic for me, I do have premium shafts on these clubs.

I am coming from a Sim 2 Titanium 3 wood and didn't think I would see much of an improvement. My first few rounds with this club have me consistently hitting off the tee within 10 yards of my driver with less dispersion. For whatever reason, this club is easier to hit my expected distances vs. the Sim 2, which has increased my confidence on the course. I find this club to be slightly easier than the Sim 2 to hit off the deck, but off the tee is a significant improvement.I was worried that the lack of an adjustable hosel and moveable weight would be an issue, but the stock shaft seems to work very well for me with good spin and launch numbers.

I've always struggled with:1) Getting height on my 3 wood off the ground2) Hitting my 3 wood off the teeMost fairway woods have shallow club faces to position the center of gravity lower, but for me that makes them harder to hit off the tee and from rough (more prone to sky off the top of the face). Both of those issues have been solved with my Qi10 purchase. The Qi10 has a deeper club face (top to bottom) which gives me a ton more confidence hitting it off the tee and out of the rough. I'm getting strong high ball flight off the tee and ground with exceptional distance, making this club a weapon instead of a liability. Super pleased with this purchase.

I bought this club 2 months ago. Living at college, I haven't been able to golf much but I was able to play about 4 rounds with it. When I moved home from college, the first thing I did was go onto the golf course. On the 6th hole, a 240yd par 3, I pulled out my wood only for the crown to pop off when I hit it. Should not be happening on a club 2 months old, and coming from someone who works in a golf shop, we see Taylormade all the time coming in with the same problem. Awfully made for such new and improved technology and will not be purchasing or recommending someone to purchase another TaylorMade wood, and that is coming from someone who buys a whole new set of clubs every year and sells golf clubs to people every day for a living.
Deeesssgussstting 7wood!! Purchased the standard Qi10 vs the max right choice for me. Plenty of forgiveness with easy on the eyes behind the ball appeal. Went with an upgraded AD graphite design orange shaft X-stiff -1/2” because I like a 7 wood that close to a 4 hybrid length. Although it’s not the latest and greatest shaft it is hands down one of the best for my game. 3 wraps low one high straight from the box to the range and this thing is a missile maker. Will use in place of my 4 hybrid and 3 iron for a season.
Decided to give a 5W a try as I'm having some gapping issues between my 3w and 6i. Trying to fit in a hybrid, maybe a utility iron along with my 5i to handle the 185y - 230y gap.Saw an ad for the 1.5x's trade in value for QI and said "why not". I have some clubs to get rid of. This was worth every penny. This Stock Standard QI10 5 wood is more forgiving than the 3W(TsR2) I was fitted for last year, and I consistently hit it in the gap I need. TsR2 3W-250y, QI10 5W-235. BTW the fitted 3W literally cost me 3 times as much! Honestly, I'm mad at myself for overpaying for last years very expensive fitting. Now I still think fittings are valuable, but not at the price tag of ludicrous. For what I paid for them, I've gotta give them a fair shake.
I upgraded from an old nike covert 3 wood 15°. I debated for a really long time whether to get the standard 15° or the HL version 16.5°. I carry my 3 wood about 250-260 on average and I was worried I would lose distance by going with the HL model and make the gapping from my 3 hybrid way too close.I am happy to say that is not the case. I absolutely smoked this thing and it easily goes as far as my old nike if not fractionally longer. Not only is it the same distance but it launches so easily and gets better airtime than my previous 3 wood which is a huge bonus considering going into par 5s it will land nice and soft which is exactly what I was going for.Love this thing so much and I highly encourage you to try out the HL model!
After 6 rounds I’m quite pleased with the performance of the Q10-5 wood. From the initial strike through 6 rounds now, it’s been a really fun club. So easy, almost too easy to launch. And the feeling through impact is effortlessly smooth. But what I’m really jacked about is the exceptionally tight dispersion it offers. Even with my mishits I’m not really getting punished. Currently it’s my fav & most trusting club in my bag. So much so that I’m looking forward to next purchasing a Q10 3 wood .
Went with the 7wood since I was getting more carry and same total distance as the 5woods. Also nearly double the peak height and consistently hit dead center of the face which wasn't happening with the 5woods. Tried the stealth2 and paradym but 7woods sell out early in the year. On a good day, my drives are near 300yds. 240 yds with 7 wood off the deck. $20 for using the demo bay, no pressure to buy. Club prices were competitive with any online retailer. Would recommend to anybody.
I truthfully had never hit it before ordering but i knew this was going to fit perfectly into my bag and style of play. I took it out on the course with me as soon as it came in the mail.Took the club out, took the plastic off the head and cranked it first swing. Hole was playing 240 from my first shot. great launch even using x-stiff stuck green 2nd shot on a par 5. EXACTLY what i bought this club for. Then tried off a tee and it makes such a nice sound. Admittingly this clib is very easy to hit. In love already. Trying it out again today cant wait. #TeamTaylormade
