TaylorMade SpeedSoft Golf Balls | Clubtech Golf, White

I started using the SPEEDSOFT golf ball after a friend told me about them. The golf course I play at is giving a sleeve of them away with some promo deal and my friend said that the customers are coming back for more. Well…I found a lost one out on the course and thought I would give it a try! I have been using it for the last few weeks (thats a miracle in itself that I haven’t lost it yet lol) and I try not to be a golf ball snob but I can truly tell the difference between the SPEEDSOFT and my other go to ball. I like the distance improvement I’ve noticed, better control when I’m chipping and putting. All around I am sold and will keep using them. I love the colored Ink ones…those are my favorite!

I purchased a box of white SpeedSoft and a box of red splatter ink. Cool looking ball no doubt. I’m just under 100mph with my driver swing. After much deliberation and reading the theory behind TaylorMade technology that went into the SpeedSoft I went for it. Off the tee I noticed less spin, less fade or draw although I did find it workable. On my first two rounds (both days were in the 50*-60* range) I had just one tee shot that felt squishy. Otherwise solid off the tee and distance wasn’t noticeably affected. It’s very durable as one gravel cart path and a couple “tree” woods were up to the test. When I wanted to flight down with a stinger I prefer a TP5 which really feels solid after using the SpeedSoft. For the price you need to give the SpeedSoft a try. I have to say that this is the best ball I have played in a long time. I am a mid handicapper and have tried many different golf balls from premium on down. I have a slower swing speed so the higher compression golf balls just don't go that far off the tee, but the biggest problem is around the green with very little to no spin. The Taylormade Speedsoft shoots off the face of the driver, has greater distance off the tee with the flight of the ball is just what one would expect. I found that the shots from the fairway or rough are about the same as other balls, however, the biggest advantage I found is around the greens, chipping/pitching.
