The TaylorMade Spider GT MAX brings a new element of adjustability, performance, and moveable weight to the putter category. The reconstructed shape maintains features of the iconic Spider design with True Path, while the new sliding weight track helps optimise performance. Made from lightweight 6061 Aluminium, the 146g top allows more weight to transfer to the outside of the frame. The 98g weight track on the sole is manufactured from stainless steel that allows the heavy tungsten weights to slide independently along the track to create different performance settings: - Position 1 creates the deepest CG and high stability with less face rotation. - Position 2 features minimal face rotation and increased toe hang. - Position 3 has the most face rotation and increased toe hang. With the weights in the rear position, the head is most resistant to rotation about the shaft axis, where the opposite is the case for the front position. Moving the weights to the forward position makes it easier to release the club head. Two heavy 40g tungsten weights are positioned on the heel and toe side of the sole and slide independently for optimal performance settings.
