Got this putter at local shop yesterday and took it to course for initial round. Old putter was spider tour platinum I had and loved for 7 years. Hit about 15 practice putts and hit the course. Took 4 holes to dial in my stroke and speed. Missed two makeable putts on 1st 4 holes. After that it was a pleasure.made 4 putts in the 15-20 ā range and made a 35 footer from off the green. Face balanced and metal insert fit the bill. Only gripe is grip option is SuperStoke 1.0 only. Sprung for 2.0 pistol grip. Very pleased. Shot 4 under my handicap.

Received this putter about a week ago, and have played with it in 2 rounds with only one practice session in between. The consistency on my lag putts, paired with the best alignment aid on the market, makes this putter a must buy if it fits your specs. Amazing control, speed, and line. I have been putting the best I ever had after switching from my blade putter. When on sale, it is a must buy.

I putt best with a face balance center shafted putter and this is the best of the series I have had over many years. Hard and very infrequent to start putts off the line I choose,pulls and pushes very very infrequent,changed grip to a large pistol and l couldn't be happier. Great putter for straight back,straight thru stroke. Wish they offered the center shaft in more colors. The putts I miss now,still from bad reads.

This 2023 TaylorMade Single Bend Spider Putter really lived up to the āhypeā. When standing over the ball for a putt your eyes easily move from the excellent alignment aid on the putter (white broad stripe with a black line in the middle) to the ball to your putting lineāPerfect. Now itās just getting the speed right. This putter takes the āright lineā question out of the equation. Additionally, I like the way the putter sits on the ground at addressā-and the way the ball comes off the face of the putterā-
Updated my older "backstryke" putter of another brand to this putter. Was changing much of my game controls and updating all of my clubs and decided to go with this more conventional style. Saw definite improvement in putting right off the first hole with this putter and it continues. Much easier to strike the ball accurately and the feel is great. Love the pistol grip.
I switched from a Ping Redmond Anser to the Spider. The Anser never rolled true, it turned in my hands at contact and I could never find the line. I always feel off the line when taking the Anser back and missed a lot of putts. I've only been using the Spider for a couple of weeks now and it address all of those issues. I see the line better and it shows me immediately where my true line resides. I'm not at the point where I love it but I'm liking the technology.The reason behind the three stars isn't with the performance, it's with the aesthetics. It's cumbersome to put in and take out of the bag due to the large head. I find I have to take other clubs out of the bag to remove the putter and the same goes when putting it back in the bag. So far Iāve played one round with the new putter and shaved a few putting strokes off my score compared to my last putter. I made more putts within the 3-4 ft range. With my last putter I would tend to push or pull my putts. With the Spider my stroke felt more controlled. So far after one round I like it. Time will tell!I felt like it took a minute to ship but it really didnāt take that long. Just like buying anything new you want it asap. I do wish TM would throw a hat or towel in the purchase of clubs.

I purchased this putter about a month ago and my putting has improved dramatically! It took a couple of rounds to get used to the feel of a new putter but Wow what a difference in my putting game! Itās become one of the best parts of my game and before purchasing this putter putting was the worst part WMU game! A real confidence builder just holding the putter behind the ball. Very easy to aim this putter where you want the ball to go! Iām sooo glad I made this purchase. It has improved my score quite a bit!
I previously was using the spider tour platinum putter but finally decided to make a switch & bought the GTX. The pure roll technology continues solid with this new putter. As much as I didnāt want to change my putter game I decided to stay in the Spider family & grab this GTX. I have only played one round with it to date but Iām sold!!! The feel & roll off the face is beautiful. Visually I chose the single bend vs double bend or slant. Hands down the GTX is a winner!
