The new construction has an advanced ICT (Inverted Cone Technology) version that maintains ball speed on off-centre contacts and gives more forgiveness. It weighs 24 grammes (two grammes less than the original Stealth face) and is constructed with an extended COR area that produces a larger sweet spot and better performance across the entire face. The carbon-reinforced composite ring produces a uniform driver head that releases additional mass for more forgiveness. The corrective Twist Face function in combination with advanced ICT maintains high ball speed and precision even on off-centre contacts. A lightweight, all-carbon fibre head allows engineers to redistribute mass and strategically position weight for optimal launch angle and forgiveness. The 60X Carbon Twist Face is coated with polyurethane, which is equipped with a revolutionary nanotexture technology. The nanotexture coating is used to fine-tune the launch angle and backspin to optimise overall distance regardless of playing conditions. The Inertia Generator remains the fundamental source of fine-tuned aerodynamics. The result is a very fast head shape which contributes to a higher swing speed on the down swing for golfers at all levels. A 25-gramme rear weight provides incredibly high MOI and forgiveness. The flexible Speed Pocket construction gives maximum ball speed and additional forgiveness on contacts low on the face.

First 40 hits with the new Stealth 2HD Driver

I teed up my first ball and struck a ball that went straight out with just a little left to right due to a modest wind. I teed up a second ball and again a good strike and good ball flight, I struck 20 balls in a row without a flub shot of anykind which I usually have multiples of when using my old driver. For the next ten strikes I had stike impact tape on and honed in on my tee height and stance to get consistent center mass strikes. The feel at impact is sweet and even when I knew I was not on the sweet spot I watched a very acceptable shot for me and my high handicap. I am anxious for my golf league in a couple of days and see how it translates on the course. First impressions are that I will begin being a straighter shooting golfer with the driver. I hope to hone it in and let the high draw aspect of the driver take over as I become more relaxed and confident.

Good but terrible quality.

Really liked the driver while it lasted but as previous TM drivers/woods they just don't last long at all. I got this driver through the MyTaylormade 2 week trial and it didn't even last the 2 weeks. The carbon face thats glued in (which is the reason this happens) popped out again. Not the first time with TM drivers/woods. It seems that if you have around 120 SS and use the driver at the range this will not last you more than 100 or so swings. I wanted to give TM a try again but back to another brand i guess. I want a driver that will last me for at least a year without having to get a replacement. TM replaces clubs really well but I want to game a club and get comfortable with it and not have to get it replaced multiple times and start over.

Good bye TM....
22 April 2023

Worst driver ever played with according to my daughter who plays in Junior Tours. She was always fan of TM product ever since she started golf long times ago. She had played ALL version of TM driver from M1 to Stealth 2. That is like 7 or 8 TM drivers. Because she loved the TM brand so much, at the same time she owned every version of hybrid and fairway woods too. So total, more than 30+ different TM driver/wood/hybrid combined. With those TM clubs, she also invested so many different TM shafts too (20+ and that include some of the high end shafts cost over $300+). But everything changed with just ONE driver. And that is Stealth 2. Horrible driver. First, I am wondering if there is such thing as quality check department at TM. And that is Stealth 2. Horrible driver. First, I am wondering if there is such thing as quality check department at TM. The face (red) were not even close to match the front case of the driver. Around the face, part of the metals were sticking out like 1 or 2mm. If she miss hit (like a thin shot), the driver will scratch the ball or even cut it with the line. During the tournament, that is very critical. Originally, she received that driver like two weeks before the actual release date and she was so happy about that. Anyway, she wasn't hitting any longer and the club was not even forgiving as previous versions. Her driver performance dropped dramatically because she could not trust the club anymore. If I can give MINUS stars, I would love to. She was enjoying lots of discounts from TM but from now on, forget about it. After what happened during the tournaments (two nationwide), she said she doesn't want to play with TM products anymore. She also lost lots of confidence with other TM clubs like hybrid and fairway woods. That was when I finally pull the trigger, time change. I sold few TM clubs at EBAY for knock-off price and used rest of them to trade in for different brand clubs after fitting. She even changed her golf ball TP5X to other brand and her gloves too. She still has few new TM gloves in her bag but just ordered gloves again from different company. Because of the ONE piece of equipment, I had to change everything. Now, she has ZERO TM gears in her bag.

Hope the honeymoon never ends!
25 September 2023

I ordered a MyStealth 2 Plus Driver awhile back and it arrived last night. Had a 8:40am ttime today and arrived a few minutes early to hit the range, but discovered it was irons only, so #1 was the first time to try it out. I pushed it a tad right, but did notice it was further than I've hit the ball in a while. From there on, the honeymoon was on! Had to wait for the green to clear for my second shot on par 5s for the first time in years. I couldn't stop smiling and can't wait to play again. Several times I know I didn't catch it on the sweet spot, but it still got out there pretty good and not too far off line. Gotta love technology. Now, if only I could chip and putt!

Not Impressed.
22 February 2023

I pre-ordered this club in January and was chomping at the bit for it to finally come in. When it did this past week, I was kind of disappointed. The driver came with quite a few blemishes in the aesthetics. It had a chip on the rear carbon ring (red part that is new to the stealth 2), a scratch on the sole of the club, and a scratch on the toe near the TaylorMade logo. On top of these issues, the driver comes without a tool….after spending $600 on a driver, the least they could do is throw in a tool. I have bought two different drivers from Cobra (both much cheaper than a TaylorMade driver) and have received a tool with both. I no longer have those tools since I sold them with the drivers, so I needed a new one and am disappointed that I didn’t receive one after ... MoreI pre-ordered this club in January and was chomping at the bit for it to finally come in. I no longer have those tools since I sold them with the drivers, so I needed a new one and am disappointed that I didn’t receive one after the long wait and $600 spent. The cherry on top is that I was told that the driver comes with a tool before purchasing, and then when I reached out today, the agent I asked said “this is false information.”With all of that being said, the performance of the club is good. The good strikes are good, and the bad strikes are still good. But it’s not good enough to make up for the inconveniences and bad parts of this driver. After a couple drives I heard a rattling noise inside of the head..not something you want to hear out of your brand new driver..but it has since stopped making the noise. All in all, I would not recommend a Stealth 2 driver to someone that is in the market. This says a lot because I have a full 14-club bag of all TaylorMade and would buy pretty much anything they put out because I was used to the great quality and the experience. However, that has taken a huge dip with this purchase.Decent driver but not worth the trouble.

Stealth 2 Driver
20 July 2023

At 69 years old I have noticed a big loss in distance with my drives. I visited a club fitter and tried the Stealth 2 driver along with three of the other current leading drivers. Tried different shaft options during the fitting as well. For me the Stealth 2 driver performed the best in terms of distance (232 yards max using a Trackman device) and I recall the other drivers were are at a max distance of around 205 to 210 yards. Using the recommended fittings I ordered the Stealth 2 driver through the TaylorMade website (fyi - veterans can get a pretty good discount using their site). In the three rounds since I have had the driver I certainly have seen improvement with my drives. TM customer service is the best
27 April 2023

TM customer service is the reason I gave the rating 4 stars. They are the best. I purchased the 9.0 stealth 2 with a 75 gram x shaft and was hitting moon balls. I mean higher than my pitching wedge. The club feels great but the launch was way too high with the 25g weight in the rear of the driver head. So I called TM and they sent me 3 different TMM weights for the front to counter balance the rear weight more. They also sent me a new shaft with a lower launch profile and a tool all free of charge. I don’t like that the rear tungsten weight can’t be changed in this model but the fact that they did right by me as a customer by sending additional equipment and refunded my shipping costs means a lot.

TaylorMade Stealth 2 - It's Improved My Game
31 March 2023

I've used most versions of TaylorMade's line from the Tour Burner in '08. They've continued to improve the products through advanced materials, skilled engineering and feedback from Tour Ambassadors and users like me. My Stealth 2 purchase was made through the TM custom shop. I knew the shaft and grip characteristics I wanted, and color palette, so this was an easy step-by-step build for me. The club arrived one week earlier than expected, and I have not been disappointed in its performance. I've gradually shifted my through-the-bag clubs to TaylorMade from Titleist products over the last 5-6 years. I don't see any reason to change that strategy. TaylorMade has been great for my game.

Weekend Warrior's Delight: A
20 September 2023

First off, it looks fantastic in my bag. Every time I pull it out, my buddies are always asking about it. But it's not just about the looks. The first time I teed off with it, I noticed an immediate difference. My drives seemed straighter and, dare I say, a bit longer. I'm not hitting 300-yard drives or anything, but I've definitely added some distance. What I really love, though, is the forgiveness. My swing isn't always consistent (I mean, whose is?), but even when I don't hit it perfectly, the ball still goes relatively where I want it to. That's a game-changer for someone like me.All in all, the TaylorMade Stealth 2 HD has been a great addition to my bag.
