Unlike traditional TaylorMade fairway clubs, the Stealth 2 HD has an eye-catching design that clearly shows the high MOI. The low centre of gravity combined with an ultra-high MOI delivers performance far beyond the ordinary. The extra-large club head has a low-profile design that gives greater confidence and playability for players of all levels. The face is developed with variable thickness for maximum ball speed over the face while maintaining playability in a shape that gives a better launch angle. The larger low profile sole makes the club better against the ground by the ball and makes it easier to get the ball up in the air. Internal weighting contributes to ball flight with draw tendency. TaylorMade’s acclaimed V Stell sole provides excellent ground contact and increases versatility. The laser-etched sightline creates a visual contrast between the face and crown and is designed to help you aim and to instil more confidence. Speed Pocket construction gives maximum ball speed and additional forgiveness on thin hits.

I absolutely LOVE this club. the very first shot was on the fairway in a round of golf. I didnt have a chance to try it at the range first. I hit it 180 yrd on the first try. I used it on 3 holes and all three times, straight down the middle about 175-185 each time. I am a woman in my 60's and I hit that club like I used to in my 30s !! I have the Stealth Driver too -- LOVE LOVE Taylormade!!!!

My fitter asked what club besides driver can get my 200 yards, I said my 3h can on a good day. Also told him that I couldn’t connect with woods. He has me try the 3w HD and I connected right away and was sold. I didn’t get to feel out before playing them so my first outing was a little disappointing, 2nd round was much better and just need a little more swing/seat time with it before I can trust it. Over all I’m happy with it. Just a learning curve since I ever carried a wood in my bag. It was the same for when I started carrying hybrids so now worried at all.

When the fitter let me try the Stealth 2 HD model (3 wood), I instantly knew something was up after first shot. Compared to Stealth 2 (3 wood) I was hitting just prior, the HD model was far exceeding my expectations off the tee and floor. Even my poor strikes with HD, where going high and straight. My best HD fairway wood shots were going further than my driver fitting worst shots on the very same day. After a week of cooling off from my fitting, I couldn't play a round without thinking about this fairway wood and ditching my old 3 wood. Glad I pulled the trigger since I have been able to shave 2 strokes off my handicap and that's proof enough. The Stealth 2 HD fairway really is that good no matter your handicap. Just because spin maybe a little higher doesn't mean ... MoreWhen the fitter let me try the Stealth 2 HD model (3 wood), I instantly knew something was up after first shot. A big boost of confidence sitting behind the ball with its large footprint and thin profile doesn't hurt us handicap golfers.

I've always had issues with hitting my 3-wood consistently and especially getting the higher flight. Bought the Steath 2 HD 3-wood (with Ventus Black 7x shaft) and the bigger head profile immediately gave me confidence. I've played 4 rounds with it so far and the results have been fantastic. Off the tee, it's only about 20-25 yards shorter than my Stealth 2 Plus driver but the accuracy is much better so I've been using it in place to the driver. The club is exactly advertised, high draw. I did a few hooks but that was my fault for trying to hit a draw when the club does that automatically with a normal swing. Based on the results, I just ordered the HD rescue.
I played my new Stealth2 HD 3 wood for the first time today. It helped me to a 36 on the front nine 5 times. Two birdies, one a 180 yard par three to 4 feet and a 175 yard second shot on a long par 4 to 2 feet! This is now my favorite club along with my Stealth driver and P790 irons. The sole works great from the dormant Bermuda fairways. I haven’t it it from the rough because my Stealth driver keeps me in the fairways
This FW was the silver bullet that killed the beast known in Golf- the infamous slice. From the very first swing during practice, this FW corrected the flight by 20-25 yards on shots that would have been definite slices. My ball flights are much more straighter with more frequent draws and I'm finding the fairway with ease. Love the HDs
The results i get with this Stealth2 HD 5 wood are absolutely Unbelievable. I can attack greens from 195-220. Straight high bombs that stay straight and land so soft. The ball flies off the face with such power and yet has a soft springy feel while remaining precise. The forgiveness and consistency are spectacular. A golf of my ability level cannot get results like this with any other club. Repeatable results no less. I am considering giving the stealth2 hd 7 wood a dabble.
Cannot tell if this 5 wood is new. Head slightly blemished. The shaft had a groove carved from a knife or box cutter for marking for the grip placement??? Why? When its easy to mark with tape. Almost no grip tape was found upon removing the original. No grip options were offered at purchase and I replaced with midsize CP2 golf pride grip. Lastly Item was received in a plain taylormade box with no packing material. Not impressed overall with this purchase.
I bought this club in November 2023. Since then, I have had to file two warranty claims. One because there was a rattle in the head after the first round with club, using it 4 times at most. Second time was a complete crack in the face after using the club 4 rounds- 2-3 times a round, I hit a single ball at the range this weekend the club face cracked from side to side. I have/had the Sim2 woods and would recommend them over this. Ridiculous for a club to break twice in this short period, it has been shipped/returned almost as many times as I’ve gotten to play it. I am Taylormade through my entire bag driver to balls, and I expect better from them.
I bought this club in November 2023. It has since broken twice. Once with a rattle in the head and second with a cracked face. I have played no more than 5-6 rounds with this club hitting it 1-2 times a round. Ridiculous for a product like this to break twice. I am Taylormade from my driver down to tour response balls and expect better. I do not recommend and would rather a Sim2 wood at this point.
