As I developed a slower, smoother and more controlled swing I found that the TaylorMade Stealth and Stealth 2 hybrids fly with much longer and straighter flights than the equivalent-lofted long irons. The hybrids have a much larger sweet spot and the larger head gives the feeling of not needing to over swing or charge hard to the ball, which causes timing issues resulting in over exaggerated fades and draws. The hybrids bring confidence that by just hitting the ball flush with an even tempo will generate all the yardage and ball flight desired versus the same-lofted irons. Whether psychological or not, the results are real. Longer, straighter, controllable and more predictable and repeatable strikes with a heck-of-a-lot less effort. This has allowed me to impart ... Whether psychological or not, the results are real. Longer, straighter, controllable and more predictable and repeatable strikes with a heck-of-a-lot less effort. This has allowed me to impart very subtle draws, fades and straights with the slower swing speeds allowing for more precise face angles and club paths. Additionally, it is easier now to throttle back or power forward to fine tune distances. By adjusting the ball position, its is also easier to change from height to flight trajectories. Furthermore, the confidence gained from shots from the rough or hardpan mean that recovering shots are much more achievable without requiring much, if any, swing adjustments. These ad-lib adjustments have always created problems for me in the past; not anymore. Buy one, take it to the range and alternate between similarly-lofted hybrid and irons and judge for yourself. It did not take long for me to figure it out. Golf is now so much more enjoyable playing from the fairway and watching my partners struggle with the long irons.

I just recently started using hybrids as they give me more height in my 3-5 irons. I was skeptical at first bc previous hybrids always tended to have what I felt was draw bias. I felt I had to make a extreme fade swing just to hit them straight. Not the Stealth! I am now on season 2 with Stealth hybrids and my 4H is probably my favorite club to hit in my bag. It’s like a rocket! The new TR shafts available for these clubs provide a slightly lower launch than their Ventus cousin which I found perfect for my swing! It’s going to be VERY tough to ever pry me away from these hybrids!

Great rescue club! I upgraded from the original stealth to this stealth 2 and noticed improvement right away. The great sound is the same but the distance and shot dispersant is much better! The head look and shaft are really eye pleasing too. Standing over the ball it gives me more confidence in making the shot! A great rescue hybrid club! I have the 3 and 4 rescue clubs. They are great for my game!

I bought this club when my girlfriend and I went up the the Syracuse mall together. My girlfriend told me to buy it and it very happy I did! This was the last club I needed to finish my set and it was an amazing purchase. Additionally, this product was very well priced! This club has overall enhanced my skill!
So I purchased about $6000 worth of custom fit tailor-made Woods and irons. Every club in my bag except for my putter. Overall I am happy with the driver and the irons but not the rescue wood.I'm not happy with Taylor made customer service and backing up their product. The place that I had the fitting tried to get it covered and then I tried on my own to no avail. They tried to write it off as wear and tear. Keep in mind I'd only hit this club probably 100 times tops. Less than three months after purchase they denied the claim.I'm very disappointed with Taylor made and I will absolutely change my opinion of the company and what we do going forward when we purchase clubs. All I ask is that you stand behind your product and they failed to do so. It's not like ... MoreSo I purchased about $6000 worth of custom fit tailor-made Woods and irons. If the club is failing in the first three months you should replace the head no questions asked.
I was coming off such a bad run with hybrids from other brands I was convinced hybrids weren’t for me so I started switching to highly lofted woods which, me already producing a high trajectory, drift left and right on me being airborne so long leading to missed greens. After recently falling in love with the stealth2 three wood (which is a whole other story) and reading some solid stealth2 rescue reviews online I found a place to demo a stealth 2 rescue. After an eye opening lightbulb moment love at first thru last hit demo I ended up getting a stealth 2 four rescue 22 degree. Easily the best flight, accuracy, dispersion, forgiveness, feel, looks and most consistent results I have ever gotten from a hybrid or high lofted wood and I have tried them all. For me this ... For me this is automatic green holding 185 yards with no left hooks to date. That is game changing for a golfer of my inability. Generally speaking I think it is very interesting how results may vary for club type and brand person to person. I am so glad I demoed this club and I added it to my bag. Thanks for creating a masterpiece.
Was debating upgrading my 20 yr old Taylormade rescue club (3) or filling in a gap in my distance with a new (5) rescue. After using this Stealth 2 Rescue (5), I may do both. This club hit straight almost every time, including mishits. It also had almost the same distance as my old Rescue (3), so I might end up upgrading that as well. Very easy to hit, from fairway and rough, and launched high and straight. Played 3 rounds with it and wish I had gotten this club last year!
Well well. Let’s just start by saying I have golfed since I was a child. At one point in my journey I could hit my driver. I put the clubs away for about 10years (from about 12 years old to 23) at which point I slowly started piecing together a new set. Since I have started playing again I have been unable to hit my driver without a slice. This year I finally started taking golf seriously. I figured out my driver but my game still struggled with longer irons. I pulled the trigger on this 4H just for par 5 purposes and it quickly has become my most reliable / favorite club in the bag. I call it my fairway finder. I smoke this thing 245 dead straight every time and it’s a wonderful feeling. So much so that I just leave the driver in my bag unless I really need it on a ... I call it my fairway finder. I smoke this thing 245 dead straight every time and it’s a wonderful feeling. So much so that I just leave the driver in my bag unless I really need it on a long par 5. Yesterday I played a round and drove OVER a short par 4 with the pin sitting at 250 yards. I can’t express enough how much I love this club. Easy to swing, massive distances. I have great clubs in my bag and this one is my GO TO. Shot an 83 yesterday with using this club off the T box at every par 4/ par 5 with the exception of one hole. My friends are jealous and want to buy one now as well. If you are reading this just stop and buy this. I don’t leave reviews ever but had to stop in and let taylormade know they have made an excellent club. Love it.
I did a metric ton of research before pulling the trigger on this hybrid. I had a hybrid before but it never really clicked for me, so I was hesitant to get another. I struggle a bit with long irons so wanted something I could poke from about 230 a bit easier and eventually settled on this. I'm actually quite blown away at the shot shaping I can do with it even without it being adjustable. I can hit it low if need be, but most importantly, this thing is VERY easy to hit high if I need to land it soft. I was certainly concerned that it wasn't adjustable, but I guess without that you just have to rely on yourself to create more or less loft. *Important Note* I did NOT go with the stock shaft offered, I opted for the Tensai Blue. I only mention this because no golf ... MoreI did a metric ton of research before pulling the trigger on this hybrid. I only mention this because no golf head is going to be 100% the performance of the club. My major recommendation is get fit if possible, and if not, do yourself a favor and learn up on shafts. The wrong shaft on a good head is going to make the club underperform plain and simple.
I had nearly a full bag of TaylorMade Stealth 2 Woods and Irons. I wanted to fill the gap between my 6 iron and 5 hybrid. I was swinging one too hard and pulling back on the other. That doesn't lead to consistent or accurate golf shots. I was looking for a 7 hybrid but settled for the 6 hybrid that I found at TGW. It is just right for those long par 3's and approaches to par 4's. I use it for shots from 155 to 180 yards. It is very easy to hit a high shot with lots of spin to stop it dead on the green. I am well into my 70's and do not hit as far as I used to. So, I updated my woods, hybrids, and irons to suit my game. With the help of good clubs and regular paly I am still able to keep most of my scores in the 70's during the regular season. This new hybrid fits ...
