After twenty years of development, the titanium era is over. An entirely new 60X Carbon Twist Face is 44% lighter than the equivalent titanium face while also being 11% bigger than the SIM2 and SIM2 Max drivers and almost 20% bigger than 2020’s SIM driver. Sixty layers of strategically designed carbon fibre gives optimal energy transfer and high ball speed over a large face, producing maximum distance and forgiveness. The face has also been furnished with a revolutionary new technology where a polyurethane nano-texture coating finely tunes the launch angle and back spin for maximum distance in all conditions. Normally a construction with a draw tendency produces spin from right to left at the expense of forgiveness. With the weight saving provided by the 60X Carbon Twist Face and by moving the Inertia Generator towards the heel, TaylorMade has managed to preserve a draw tendency while still being a Stealth driver with a maximum MOI. An asymmetric Inertia Generator gives outstanding aerodynamic properties and the very quick head contributes to a higher swing speed on the down swing for golfers at all levels. TaylorMade’s most flexible Thru-Slot Speed Pocket construction gives maximum ball speed and additional forgiveness on thin hits.
