The P7MC's are my third Taylor Made set of irons in the span of one year. I've played golf since I was a child but left the game for 25 years when I picked it up again a year ago. Today I am a solid 5 handicap at the ripe age of 65. My progression was I went from the SIM2 Max irons which I soon realized were not for me. If you want to give these a try remember that life is too short to sell yourself short. Like my review title say, "GET THESE CLUBS!"Performance is just superb as is the fit and finish. These irons look fantastic and are VERY playable. I took them out to the range two days ago and it was a great experience. Given that this was my first experience with these irons I did have a period of adjustment like everything else that is new. But soon enough I was hitting solid shots and the sensation of hitting the sweet spot is unbelievable. And now my ball flight is nice and high with a baby draw, wonderful. I am not seeing a reduction in distance, and that was hitting into the wind at my local range. Turf interaction is so smooth and easy. With my P790's I would on occasion get this feeling that the bottom of the clubs would drag or stick. With the P7MC's they just slice through the grass, no problem. This is important to me as I like the sensation of hitting the ball square and then taking a nice smooth divot. Perfection! On miss-hits I am still getting decent distance and the ball flies true and straight. I am confident that with a little time my miss-hits will be few and far between. Now that is confidence, and we all know that confidence is crucial in the game of golf.I finally found the irons for me. If you are on the fence I hope my comments will persuade you to try these irons. They are that good.

Just got these few days ago and first round exceeded my expectations! Had P770 2020 model with KBS Tour 120S prior, but had to trade up since I just couldn’t ever quite adapt to the hollow body feel. With P7MC’s I know when I strike the ball how it’s going to end up. Plus I changed to KBS $-taper which seem even more balanced with this club head than my prior irons were. Honestly added distance vs losing it too, so go figure. Hit more GIR too, so hoping this continues to be the case. If you are debating just pull the trigger! Also, most beautiful irons I have seen!

For starters, Idk my handicap so we’ll say mid as far as my iron play goes. I got a hand-me-down set from an old neighbor when I was 14 and have worn my club faces down to nothing over the past 5 years and decided I’m due. I get a shift a week while I’m at college and have saved up for irons and a bag since early fall. After probably over a hundred articles and videos, I landed on these, refusing to be discouraged by everything saying I can’t hit these. First round out, I was able to shape and flights shots like I always dreamed of but couldn’t quite get out of my old clubs. I seriously could not recommend these and the cart bag more. Hopefully another review of the MG3 wedges coming eventually, as I have to restart in the bank.

The heads provide tons of feedback and unlike most forged irons I've tried, these aren't bone and joint jarring on thin shots and still have a small level of forgiveness to them. For any mid handicappers wondering if they can hit this club you can!!! I made the switch from game improvement irons and the offset took a little getting used to (just showed my release wasn't as good as I thought). But these clubs help to feel where on the face you're actually hitting the ball. And of course IMO these are some of the sexiest irons available. Good to look at, easy to hit, and extremely satisfying feel and response. So stop reading my review and just buy them already!!!!
I was lucky enough to get the new stealth udi in store. I have had one range session and 18 hole round. Let me start off by saying this is definitely a club for consistent ball strikers. I’m not saying I’m the most consistent but I feel it’s geared towards the single digit handicappers. When you hit it on the center of the face it’s really hot. On the track man it had very high ball speeds. Surprisingly for the 2 iron it got more height than I was expecting which I like but also had the penetrating ball flights too. Great fairway finder club to put in the bag.
I love the feel and sound of hitting these irons. I have had them for a little over 2 weeks and have already been to the range multiple times and brought them on the course twice. The ball launches very nicely and I feel that if you put a good swing on the ball you are rewarded with consistent flight and spin. I wanted to take a next step in my game and I feel like these are going to help me get there. I also find it much easier to work a draw or a fade with these compared to my previous game improvement irons. These are great looking clubs too - one thing to keep in mind is these clubs seems to scratch easily. I brought them to our driving range which is a bit sandy and I immediately noticed some dings after a handful of swings. I previously gamed the original P790 3 iron and loved it but I became too inconsistent with it as I no longer play enough or have time for the range. Got a SIM DHY 3 iron to replace it for it's forgiveness but after having it for a year or so in the bag, the sole was too big for my swing as it was harder to get the turf contact - I always have trouble hitting fairway woods and hybrids so those are not ideal options.Saw that TaylorMade came out with the Stealth UDI and brought the 3 iron before even hitting the club. The Stealth UDI looks very similar to the P790 in the top line and sole, and in general, a very beautiful looking club. After using it for a round, I can say it's much more explosive and forgiving than the P790. Started playing 2.5 years ago with player distance irons and wanted to move to a true players club without the assistance of too much technology (internal cavities, foam, etc) that can mask bad hits... but I didn't want to go for full on blades. These irons are perfect as they do have some forgiveness, but they feel like blades. Extremely soft and the head size gives you a feeling of nimbleness (narrow top line, thin sole, not too long). After hitting some less than stellar shots, you almost gain confidence because these do not punish you as much as you might think they think (like a blade) given they club category they fall in. Secured myself a set of P7MC 4-PW left hand with stiff KBS $Taper shafts.These replaced my 2021 P770’s.As a 12-15 handicapper - I was worried the less forgiving club would penalize me, however given the slightly heavier head weight, I am seeing better distance on all irons, and slightly off center shots still carry very well also.I also considered a split set, keeping the P770 for my 4-6 irons, however given the distance improvements- I went with a full set.As for that buttery feeling when you strike these “pure” - it is simply addictive!!
I was on the fence jumping from the p790 to the MCs but found it difficult to shape shots and wanted something with more feedback and consistent distances. Having played blades and muscle backs before, I knew I could play these but there still that hesitation because they’re less forgiving. I am glad I went with my gut and bought these. These are prob the second best irons I’ve ever played with and im sure the longer I play with these MCs they will become number one. I am def planning on keeping these in the bag for a very long time ! The craftsmanship is superior and the feedback and feel these produce are top notch.
