I bought the TCL 30 as a replacement for my LG V30 it arrived, I activated it and have been using it for 2-3 weeks nowImpressions: Fast processor, excellent battery life, everything transitions smoothly, I bought a 512GB Micro SD and it's working out. & the Best Parts: it didn't cost me an arm and a leg, I didn't have to pay $20-40+ a month to buy the device nor change my service to qualify!There are only 2 things that are a minor annoyance: About once a day the phone just turns itself off (not while I'm using it) and when making a call, the screen WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO DISCONNECT unless you push the Power button first. That's likely a software error. If you try to hang up, the screen will go dark until you hit the power button, then you can hang up. I've had this phone for awhile now, I actually got it when it first dropped. Every other negative review on here is honest, I've dealt with the screen issues, the sim card issues and more.The camera is a joke and the 50 megapixel it claims to have is atrocious. It is only useful if the subject is completely still.I was excited when this came out as I've got other TCL products and generally consider them a good value. I wasn't expecting this to compete with an iPhone or Samsung flagship product, but I did expect more than I've gotten. I'm frankly shocked that Verizon evensild this themselves.Just a joke.

I left a previous review on this phone and feel the need to leave another. This is a terrible phone. All the negative reviews on here are spot on. The response from TCL is laughable. Every time someone complains about the problems they are having with this device, they get a response from TCL telling them to regularly check for and download updates. Every evening I update all of my apps manually on Google Play and then restart the phone, but that solves nothing. Dropped calls, people unable to hear me when I'm talking, apps constantly freezing, screen not responding to touch, the list goes on and on! One time the phone just kept shutting off on its own repeatedly. I wouldn't recommend this phone to my worst enemy!
