The 50'' size is perfect for our loungeroom. The HD picture quality really brings our shows and movies to life. Sound is impeccable, we only need it at 34-50, and we can hear it from the other end of the house well before full volume, no extra speakers needed. The remote is a great improvement on our old one, as I suffer from carpul-tunnel and my partner suffers from arthritis, so the slim size is easy on our hands, as well as being easy to use. Very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend. 5/5

Bought a 49inch TV from Joyce Mayne almost 5 years ago from Timmy who gave me excellent service and thankfully offered me product care new for old replacement. TV just died before Xmas, 2 months left on the product care thankfully cause who can afford a new TV at Xmas time? Was assessed and had a store credit in 3 days and due to the price of TVs coming down so much over the years, the product care credit got me into this 75inch TV with far more features than my old unit, not to mention the size difference is like being at the movies. Thanks Timmy, thanks Joyce Mayne, thanks product care. Best Xmas present for the family at a time when I could least afford it.

I didn’t expect this model of TCL Google TV to be this good. Easy to set up just follow the on screen instructions and Google Home app on my iPad. Picture quality is crystal clear. Sound quality is not bad, too. Voice control is smart. Heaps of apps for me to download from Google App Store. I even don’t need to subscribe any prepaid online video streaming services because there are so many free content available! I hate myself that I don’t have plenty time to watch this TV! It’s way better than my Samsung smart TV that I bought last year in terms of choices of apps and online streaming content. It has Ethernet port that you can plug in your Ethernet cable for fast speed. Now I know why TCL is the best selling TV in the US now! Reasonable price and outstanding ... MoreI didn’t expect this model of TCL Google TV to be this good. Easy to set up just follow the on screen instructions and Google Home app on my iPad. I originally agreed with a reviewer that the tv is crap. However, other makes and models in my opinion don't look their best out of the box. When i tuned this tv in and sat down to watch it i was seriously thinking about returning it. After tweaking the settings, brightness, contrast, gamma etc, i had the tv looking amazing.I found that if the adaptive controls are all turned off the picture looks natural and sharp. The purchaser just has to have a little patience, go through the settings one by one until he or she is happy with the end result.Under $500 is still a good price for a 43 inch tv with a 4k screen. And with a 3 year warranty. Other makes can only offer 12 months.
Overall a great tv, snappy enough, dolby vision, 4k, atmos. all the toys you need these days. The sound is the true seller here, huge soundstage off tv speakers which is rare. The only problem is the choice of ad revenue, having the first 3 rows of recommendations be from an Indian media streamer (Zee5) is terribly mismatched here in New Zealand, the other problem is not even being able to reset ads in android "about" menu so there is no way around this.I bought this for my mother who isn't the most tech-savvy, she thought she had been hacked.
Really good value for money, well worth the investment, heck I don’t need to type anything, I just say what I want to view and google finds it and adding apps to the TV such as my Spotify “Amazing”.One word of caution however, the 75” is a beast, its big very big, thus make sure your residence can accommodate it such as entrance ways.I live in an apartment complex without lifts and had to use the stairs, it was touch & go but made it. Lastly if you are in a rental, I would suggest you can save the box as it will came in handy when moving.
Pros:Product itself is very good. Nicely built. The image is nice and crisp. Speakers are decent enough I won’t need to invest in an alternative system straight away.Cons:Only came with two small screws to attach on wall support (there are 4 needed). As far as I found out, the Roku app is not supported in Ireland, so there’s no use of it.Overall it’s a good product for the price point.
Good Points: it's big and the picture is good for the priceImprovement Points: My TV had a hairline crack internally after just one month of purchase and I am still waiting for a replacement TV two weeks later. It flashes black between cuts in shot. It's slow to start up.The google assistant is slow and isn't very good at hearing what you are saying compared to, for example, a Google Nest Mini - when it does work it often misunderstand what is being said or says it can't complete the request.
