I was initially going to buy the LG but instead opted for the TCL. I was surprised with how great the screen quality is. It has all the streaming services and it also easily downloads other apps (I downloaded Shudder and Kanopy with no issue). It comes with Google Chrome Cast and that was a bonus for me. It is a little slow to start up when you turn it on but thats just me being a millennial. It also comes with an RCA adapter which is great because I have a ps2 and N64 I like to play with - the screen adjusts to the gameplay (its decent and not super stretched which is good). This was a nice feature I didnt expect especially since newer tvs dont have RCAs.

Couldnt be more happier with this TCL Google TV.Had read many reviews on all brands before purchasing.Thought ld be buying a Samsung and ended up with a TCL.Im over 60 and not that great with technology so was worried installing the apps etc would be difficult but it wasnt an issue. Not difficult to install the Apps the remote is not complicated and buttons easy to use. Bought this size for a bedroom and was so impressed l purchased another a 75inch for the Living room.Happy with picture and sound.Had great customer service at the Bayswater Store. Highly recommend great product.

I use this for a pc monitor combined with another cheap vertical 23 inch monitor. I bought this as a cheaper option than just a big ultra wide monitor that does less. 60hz is plenty for all the uni (engineering), programming and design I do and it all works as expected. No problems as of yet, high resolution is great for multiple split screens, watching less e.t.c Great as a smart tv too and at a reasonable price. Some apps a bit sketchy like Kayo but I think thats more the Kayo app.

Very happy of the interface, build quality and resolution. You won't find a better quality/price. Suprisingly sound is pretty good (I have a soundbar but think you can use the tv without if you are on a budget). I am not using the android interface as I have an NVIDIA Shield but from what I have seen during setup it is pretty snappy which is definitely not the case for other brands in this budget range. 3 years warranty will cover you at no extra cost (it makes this tv a better than a similar Kogan one). Only downside is a Dolby vision that is not crazy due to some technical limitations of the TV. It is basically capable of decoding the signal but you won't have a similar result than other big brands. But honestly, I deactivated it and I am very happy of HDR at ... It is already incredible, trust me especially if you come from HD TV or low budget 4k without HDR. Dolby vision is still a geeky option. But it is great to know your TV is capable of working the signal if it becomes more of a norm.
My old 55" died just at the turn of the new year and after some online research, the TCL was a no-brainer at half the price of Samsung or LG. With full 4K QLED and Google TV "smartness", I was pleasantly surprised by the user features. The first week left me with "viewing headaches" but thereafter I got used to the 75". The screen is superb with little or no ghosting and rich in colour with a ton of AV options, connectivity and settings. The regular system updates by Google keep the UX rather sharp and intuitively updates the home screen based on usage: in my case, Sports and movies(special genre too). The remote is simple and ditto the user interface. Connecting apps via mobile / wifi is a breeze and off my NBN, Optus sports, Kayo sports, Youtube, Amazon Prime & ... Connecting apps via mobile / wifi is a breeze and off my NBN, Optus sports, Kayo sports, Youtube, Amazon Prime & Tubi are simply swift and seamless without any lag. (I wish the boot time from power on was as quick ! )Whilst Bluetooth connectivity to my Bose headsets has made late-night TV viewing enjoyable, the TV tends to often "forget" the connection.Lastly, the hands-free voice control on the remote has made Youtube viewing so so much easier ! Thanks TCL and Bing Lee for the support in store.
This was a great buy. We needed a smaller TV because it was going into a small room and this TV holds its own in terms of picture, colour and sound. And a fantastic price. One niggle only - the TV interface is clumsy. Searching for a specific film or program is laborious and if you make one mistake, you have to start all over. You can use voice control but that is very hit and miss and rudimentary - you end up repeatedly shouting at the TV which is just ridiculous. A continual exercise in frustration.
This TCL tv has great picture quality, 4k movies look outstanding on it. The sound is ok too. My main issue seems to be with the Google TV smart tv platform. With Kayo sports, the picture is really choppy and jerky. It seems that it is a framerate mismatch, which cannot be changed with the version of Google TV that comes with this TCL tv. It was basically unwatchable. Apart from that, the TV is very good. I suggest that if you buy it to watch sport (Kayo/Foxtel), then you wait until they update Google TV to the next major version, as I believe the issue has been addressed in that version.
I bought a TCL 65"C635 on the 13th September 2022 very happy with the quality. Unfortunately it stopped working 7th December 2022, I rang TCL to report the problem not an easy process eventually sending a movie of a not working TV.After some negotiation they agreed to replace the TV. On the 5th Janurary 2023 I received an email that the TV was on it's way. Now it's 1st February and I still have not received the TV and they have stopped answering my emailsI have purchased TCL products before and the quality and reliability has been great however if you can't rely on the company to honour the warranty I would suggest not buying TCL
It functions as a tv I guess. The guide button can take 10 seconds to register, and then when you choose a different station it decides not to go to said channel until you press guide again to change it again and then it changes the channel itself. The microphone on the remote picks up and activates from the tv. For some reason it has freeview installed as well an additional tv guide but it doesn't know if it should open freeview or the bloatware. It looses internet connecting regularly. It specifically has a setting to turn on the tv on the last app you were watching but that of course doesn't work. This review is after a year of using it so it shouldn't be in its built in obsolescence yet. I believe whole heartily I will never buy a TCL tv again and will dissuade ... Its slow to start up each time you turn it on. Always starts on the Home Screen instead of the last channel/input you watched. When watching tv, pressing the ok button will sometimes show what youre watching and whats up next, sometimes it brings up the tv guide Sometimes it automatically connects to the internet and sometimes it needs to be connected manually. Sometimes the remote works and sometimes it needs to be re-paired. But its got good quality picture and sound
