The NXTFRAME TV is TCL’s version of a TV that also can display art while still being a powerhouse TV for your family room!Out of the box its immediately apparent how thin this tv is. With an Ultra Slim Design, it clocks in at 1.1 inches deep! The TV does not come with any type of legs as it was meant to be hung on the wall, but the good news is it comes with an included wall mount from TCL or if you really can’t hang the TV anywhere in your home there is a stand that can be purchased separately. The mount comes with clear step by step instructions and a paper template that makes the TV super easy to install. I’ve hung a few tv’s in my day and this one of the easier mounts I’ve ever used but still requires 2 people to be safe! What’s most impressive about it is that once installed it’s completely flush with the wall. One thing worth noting is its good practice to go ahead and connect your HDMI cables to the tv before mounting. The mount does allow for the bottom of the TV to be pulled out slightly but it’s much easier if you just connect them before mounting. The TV has a white edge around it but also included in the box is a magnetic wood frame that can be attached. We chose the wood because it matched our bedroom furniture and looked super sleek once installed!Once we were finished with setup, I immediately went into Art Mode by pressing the top left Art button on the remote. There are 4 different categories of Art including Gallery, AI Art, Relax and Moment. Gallery is the main section that has different categories with tons of options. The one I found most interesting was the Masterpieces because all the art moves and has music to it. Overall, there are 374 pieces of art and they’re all free which is a nice touch! The AI Art section is neat as well because you can tell the TV what you want to create, and it will basically populate a scene out of thin air. The Relax section has things like a Sunset on the Coast or a Fireplace that looks like a real fire with sound affects included. One thing worth mentioning is that when you go between scenes it isn’t 100% seamless. It does take time to load each scene with a “Resource Loading” screen which does kind of take away from the Art aspect of things but doesn’t detract enough from the overall experience to ruin it. Finally, the last mode is Moments which allows you to upload your own photos to the TV to be displayed. Overall, all the Artwork looks phenomenal and one of the biggest reasons is because the screen has an Ultra Matte Anti-Glare. I used to have a screen like this way back in the 2000’s when Apple made Matte laptop screens, and I absolutely love it because it doesn’t reflect any lights giving the Art work and TV a clean and smooth finish to it!This TV is no slouch in the performance department either with 4 HDMI inputs. The one downfall is that the 144hz HDMI 1 port also acts as the eARC port for a soundbar, so if you have 2 consoles and a soundbar you will have to rotate between the 2nd HDMI for an Xbox and PS5 combo to utilize the 144hz feature. The tv also has 2 USB ports, Lan port, Optical Out and a Cable/Ant and AV In adapter. The TV is a 4k QLED so it is bright and beautiful and is able to handle anything you throw at it. The 144HZ refresh rate and a Game accelerator with 240 Variable Refresh rate make for smooth gaming! It also features multiple HDR modes covering all your bases and has Dolby Atmos Audo and DTS X Audio capabilities. It also has Wifi 5 built in to handle fast internet speeds and has Google Chromecast built in along with Bluetooth as well! Overall, the UI experience with Google can move as fast as you can. Scrolling through all the apps and menus it doesn’t miss a beat, and I found it to be one of the quicker tv’s I’ve ever come across. The remote also has Hands free voice control as well which I don’t utilize often but can be handy! This TV really has every feature you could possibly want.Overall, I’m thoroughly impressed with the TCL NXTFRAME TV. It checks all the boxes for what I was looking for in a brand new tv while doubling as an art gallery at the touch of a button. The Art feature of the tv is highly impressive and will be sure to be a conversation piece when you have guests over! Anyone looking for a TV to be more than just a TV but a focal point of class and sophistication in your family room this is the TV for you!

With its 4K QLED and what they call “Ultra Matte Anti Glare Screen” really transforms this from being a generic boring TV on a wall to a front row seat to a world-class ART GALLERY IN YOUR ROOM!!!Two of the main factors that make this work as a piece of art rather than just a boring tv on a wall is the non-glare matte look to the art when displayed and the ultra-thin flush wall mount. My sister-in-law came over to look at a dresser in our master bedroom and asked, “Is that a TV” and “It doesn’t look like a TV” …EXACTLY. The screen looks more like canvas than screen but when its in TV mode…Looks incredible there too!!The flush wall mount and thin screen makes it look exactly like a picture frame…to the T. One complaint I have it that TCL needs to find better drywall anchors for the mounting screws. The mounting screws are large but after installing the drywall anchors into the drywall (because there was no stud there) when I screwed the screws in they spun the drywall anchors and they punched threw the wall making them useless as a means to support the TV. I almost really screwed myself on the setup due poor drywall anchors they provided. I would highly recommend hiring a professional or the Geek squad for the install. To be fair, it’s not hard to set up, they provide a simple and useful template and all the hardware which is pretty straightforward forward but if the TV is not perfectly leveled or you end up punching a bunch of holes in your wall and the tv is not secured properly … spending the little extra money on a set up would be worth it. Also the wires really need to be dropped behind the drywall for the picture frame illusion to be complete. We did not want to have a shelf or bench underneath it…we wanted a clean wall-hung art piece. So I dropped the power cable down the wall and got a brush plate and ran the power out the bottom of the wall (See pics) and it worked out fabulously. Back to the wall mounting brackets, They are well designed in and of themselves and they have plenty of options to find a stud and use one its preexisting holes to at least try to hit one stud on the left or the right of the unit. I upgraded to better drywall anchors and got the TV nice and level and secure. Once it’s flush…It is flush!! NOTE: Be sure to plug any peripherals in at the time of hanging…once it is on the wall …there is no way to easily access the ports. I kind of wish they would have had a secret side USB port for a USB drive full of pics to easily be added but there is not. TCL has an app that will allow you to upload pics but I found that it was a little clunky and that the pics from my iPhone 16 pro max would import upside down and I could not find a way to flip them on the TV. You have to edit them in your photos and then upload. BUT I wont be running my pics on that TV…ART baby ART!!! So overall I was frustrated a bit with the drywall anchors they chose but the brackets and instructions are simple and the TV mounts securely.THE ART – Joaquin Sorolla – Women Walk on The Beach 1904, The QLED screen and matte antiglare tech really allow you to see how Sorolla uses the light to create such movement and emotion in the work. Johannes Vermeer’s – Girl with Pearl Earring 1665…JUST absolutely mesmerizing. The oil on canvas comes to life in my bedroom and she is there in the room. I love how it doesn’t matter if my bedroom window is open and it’s bright and sunny outside or all the lights are on or if it’s bedtime and the low light of bedside lamps are a glow ….The painting on the wall is constant and perfectly lit. It’s like when you go to the museums and they are perfectly lit…Somehow TCL was able to mimic that very convincingly. From any angle … the image is true to form. IT REALLY FEELS LIKE A PAINTING! My wife and I sat there and just went through the masterpieces as if we owned them and they were in our bedroom…Magical. Monsnier, Manet… all come to life! They also have different galleries and a cool clock feature which are a lot of fun and some animated art with ambient sound. We did not want to have to settle for one piece hanging on our bedroom wall for years NOW EVERY DAY is a new and colorful adventure. As a TV… It’s Awesome, Now the speakers suck due to the small footprint of the unit which is to be expected. They are good enough though to utilize them sans a better sound system to watch the nightly news or a show occasionally but an upgraded sound system for movies would be a must. BUT HERE”S SOMETHING COOL… you can connect to any Bluetooth device…so for example, I took our really nice Bluetooth speaker and brought it into the bedroom and synced it and boom…really decent sound for most use cases… and when I’s done back in the closet for the speaker and the TCL stays clean and picturesque. You can also sync headphones like airpods or Bose and not disturb your partner while watching tv!!! With Youtube tv and Google and Spotify… music and videos and podcasts are all there as well.I also like just how easy this is to use. The remote has a 1 touch art mode. Hit the one button and it’s a picture frame instantly. The app is good ( a little quirky) but good. NOTE- also be sure to hang it at the right height. Not too high not too low…Look at pictures of art museums to get a feel for the height you want. The CONS – better drywall anchors for sure. I also wish they would have another darker framed option instead of the light-colored magnetic frame it comes with. Since the frame is magnetic is very easy to put in and take off. They need to add a dark brown, black or silver option. No hidden side-accessible USB port for easy pic uploads. Speakers are minimally acceptable. The PROS – AMAZING picture quality and art selection! Really outstanding TV. Flush wall mounting looks amazing, with No glare. The perfect substitution for boring and permanent wall art in a room. Simple to use.I love this NXTFRAME…the name fits it…it’s really where home artwork is headed! Perfect for any room that you don’t want to have a big old ugly TV hanging! Also would be great for Dr. offices or conference rooms! Solid 5 Star!

After unboxing and sorting the parts out, I went through the manual to install. This TV came with the NXTFrame Wall Mount system, and I was a bit worried as I’ve always used a standard wall mount. The mount package came with a wall template to attach to the wall to mark drill holes and to make sure it was level, etc..(This model (at this time anyways) does NOT come with a stand- Only the wall mount)Everything went smoothly, but I did get the level off by about 1/8th Inch or so, but I’m not that picky that it bothers me, lol.I still prefer the stands wall mount but this was fine.Once the TV was all hooked up, (which the back on the TV has some built in slots to route the cables down through to make it neater) I, with a friend, hung it up on the bracket, and I ... Very clean and bright colors. The sound through the TV was good but I use a surround system and it, as expected, went fine and the sound is top notch.I'm not big into the artsy stuff but the screen saver mode using pictures/ and or ART does look beautiful for those that will use it.I couldn’t be happier. I don’t think anyone will be unhappy purchasing this TV.
The TV we had in the master bedroom was about eight years old, an although it was a flat panel TV, it did not have any of the smart features of many modern TVs. The upgrade to the TCL NXTFRAME TV was a good choice, as it has a stunning picture, a flush mounting system, and a responsive smart TV system (powered by Google). I have minor complaints with the mounting system and the sound quality.I’ll start with mounting the TV to the wall. The set received did not ship with feet—it shipped with the TCL exclusive flush mount system (I knew this in advance). I have minor complaints with the mounting system and the sound quality.I’ll start with mounting the TV to the wall. The set received did not ship with feet—it shipped with the TCL exclusive flush mount system (I knew this in advance). The flush mount system has four pieces—two plates for the TV, and two plates for the wall. One set of plates is for the left side and the other set is for the right side. It also comes with a template and detailed instructions for mounting. The instruction sheet had incredibly small print, but was easy to follow. Having separate plates instead of one bigger plate for the wall makes it critical that you mount the two plates perfectly level with each other. In addition, there is less probability that you will hit a stud in the wall, and eight fasteners are required for the hanging instead of four. I have hung over a dozen TVs on the wall for myself and family. While this one was not difficult, it did require some additional measuring and checking to make sure the TV was hung at the height I wanted and that it would be perfectly level. I am very handy, and the entire process took about 90 minutes. Once the brackets were on the wall and TV, the TV was mounted in less than one minute. Overall, the TV sits about 1¼ inches away from the wall, which looks very modern and sleek. The TV also ships with an alternative color for the TV bezel. For me, the standard off-white bezel was the better color of the two, but it was nice to have a choice. The bezel can be removed easily, as it is magnetic. One suggestion I would make is having the power cord another color other than black. If the whole idea is to have a conspicuous TV, nothing is less conspicuous than a black power cable hanging down from the TV. White or beige might be a better choice. A cable channel is also a possibility. The usability of the TV is great. Everything is super responsive—there is no lag between the remote button presses and the response on the TV. I use YouTubeTV as my TV service, and scrolling through the guide and DVR selections was quite nice. The Google TV features (for free viewing) is also nice, and realize that in order to access some of this free programming that additional apps might need to be installed. I have this TV directly connected by ethernet, with no DVD player or gaming system. There are 4 HDMI connection for these devices, but if you have older composite or component devices, you’ll need an HDMI converter. The picture was nothing less than stunning. As a QLED panel with 4K resolution, the image was crisp and without excessive saturation or contrast. In my opinion, the picture out of the box (but in energy saver mode) was fabulous. The picture settings offer quite a bit of customization, in the case your tastes differ from the default settings. I also really like the matte screen. This really cuts down on glare and makes the TV more aesthetically appealing when the screen is blank. The 120 Hz refresh rate results in no pixelation in motion scenes. I did turn off the motion smoothing, as it makes me seasick. As far as sound, I fount it to be quite a bit tinny. There are a lot of sound customization options, but no matter how I fiddled with it, the sound is never quite right. The art feature of the TV is pretty cool. Either when the TV enters screen saver mode (or you force it into the art mode), you can have a beautiful digital painting or photograph on the wall. The Art app has about 100 choices, and the image can either be locked or on a rotating gallery setting. Again, the screen and color depth really make these art images look stunning. When the power is off, the white “plugged in” light is a bit bright. I covered it with a small piece of tape.Overall, I would recommend this TV. Mounting required a bit more care because of the mount design, but the picture is fabulous and the TV is very responsive to the remote commands. Sound is a bit tinny, regardless of how I tinkered with it.
As they often do, TCL has made a really nice display, excelling above its price point in terms of picture quality. But, as can be expected, presumably to keep the overall price low, they’ve cut some corners elsewhere. While this may be an excellent choice depending on your needs, I would generally expect more out of a TV well over $1000.AESTHETICS 3/5TVs in this category are given a premium price for their aesthetic value. This TCL TV is remarkably thin, projecting less than 1.5 inches from the wall when mounted. It also has a thin frame, about 3/8” all around. But because of the premium price, I feel like it’s deserved to be critical of some small aesthetic blemishes in the design.- For some reason there is a massive mechanical pushbutton on the bottom that sticks out from the otherwise evenly rectangular frame. Maybe this is a feature of sorts, but I don’t get it. It’s not very visible, but when you do see it it seems out of place.- Also for some reason there are visible screws on the bottom of the frame. The top and sides are consistently smooth. These are only visible if you choose to leave the white frame exposed rather than using the optional magnetic frame with a pale woodgrain look.- The included optional wood-look bezel barely looks different from the integrated white bezel. It’s a very light color with very subtle woodgrain painted on. It looks kind of cheap, and the corners don’t fit into a perfect miter the way you’d expect a picture frame to look. Since this device is all about the appearance, I would have thought they’d pay more attention to detail on this. On the other hand, you could easily get a custom frame from a framing shop or a crafty friend if you want it to look beautiful (and maybe even match the rest of your home decor).GENERAL OPERATION 4/5I am surprised at how cool this screen operates. There’s vents on the top and bottom, but very little heat seems to come through. The illumination must be pretty efficient. There’s a warm spot near the bottom, but very slight compared to other displays I’ve worked with. The picture is bright, good contrast, and has a very respectable viewing angle. Dolby Vision IQ is nice. Great clarity. The advertised “Ultra matte” finish looks like any other matte finish; I wouldn’t get excited about it. Usually screens are made glossy to improve contrast, but the matte look gives it a more pleasant, “natural” appearance. The LED backlight appears to adjust brightness in response to the video image, which is a nice feature to improve dynamic range and clarity; however, it appears to flicker when it adjusts. This is a minor artifact but I found it distracting when I was assessing the image quality. “Dynamic acceleration” feature claims to increase the refresh rate of the monitor. I presume this would upscale a 60fps signal to 120fps. However, when I turned it on it also downgraded the resolution to full HD instead of 4k, so I didn’t keep it on. QLED PRO looks really great. I love the dynamic range and the detail. The blacks aren’t quite as black as more expensive LCD displays, but that may be an acceptable tradeoff with the matte finish. The built-in speakers are terrible, but nobody is expected to use them anyway. I am pleased (because of a previous bad experience with a different TCL TV) that this TV works flawlessly when using HDMI eARC with a Dolby Atmos sound device, even with high resolution media. The remote takes some getting used to with volume buttons on the side and some other weird choices in terms of button layout. But it’s pretty standard, and hopefully you won’t have to use the remote much if you have other equipment connected to it, like an AVR or streaming box with a better interface. The plastic case of the remote has flecks of color in it that make it look artsy, which is a cute touch.INSTALLATION 5/5With any large TV, make sure your wall can support the weight of it. The mounting brackets that come with this TV are fairly wide which makes it easier to distribute the weight of the TV over several mounting anchors, but the brackets are not wide enough to guarantee that you will be able to find a stud on 16” centers. You may have to compromise on the mounting location or (like I did) use alternate structural components to guarantee a strong mount. All that said, I found the installation process to be easier than I expected. It takes a surprising amount of force to lock the mounting brackets in place once the TV is on the wall, but once it is locked in place it’s not going to get accidentally knocked off the wall. One aesthetic note: installation notes suggest using small foam pads (provided) to keep the bottom of the TV from scuffing against the wall, but using them makes the bottom of the TV stick out from the wall farther than the top. I think it would be better to have four pads, to hold the top of the TV off the wall too.The included mount only works on a vertical wall. Ideally I might have wanted to mount it on a diagonal wall above my bed in a loft space, but I couldn’t do that with the built-in mount.ART MODE 2/5This is advertised as an art TV, so I tried out these features even though I’m more interested in the TV’s ability to perform as a normal TV. The thin profile and tight bezel mean that this device is shaped like a framed painting or poster when it’s hanging on your wall. But as I described above, the frame (either option) looks kind of cheap. If I really wanted this to look like a piece of art, I would fit a custom frame around it to look nicer and better match my decor. In addition to the look of the device, it comes with “art mode” software, basically a set of images you can choose from in a slide show that are designed to look like artwork. It even has an AI Art category because, why not? Some of these images include animation, which is kind of cool, but at the end of the day it’s just an image gallery like any other collection of images you could upload into a slideshow. The art mode can be triggered with a dedicated button on the remote. I think that the art mode is also supposed to automatically turn on when there’s no other input, but I couldn’t get that to work. I also couldn’t figure out how to get the TV to stay on in art mode—seems like it turns itself off after a while thinking that someone accidentally left the device on without any content playing. This could use some work if you expect to display this device like a piece of art. But it’s a good start for a conversation piece when some friends are over.
I currently have a 55” TCL tv that has been great so this art series 65” TV was something I definitely wanted to give a shot, especially at the lower price point. It fits perfectly in my master bedroom just above my dresser. It is so thin! It’s made to be wall mounted, so it does NOT come with any type of stand. It came with a hinged type of wall mount that was really easy to install and mount the tv. Because of the hinge type of wall mount you can lift the bottom of the TV away from the wall easily to plug in wires, etc without worrying about the tv shifting. it sits perfectly flush with the wall and has a thin white edging. The TV also came with a beige color magnetic trim which you can easily put around the tv giving it a polished framed photo look.Picture and ... Clear, vibrant and bright My previous bedroom TV was a Vizio and the color always had a blue tint that I was never able to quite correct no matter what setting I used. What I really like about this tv vs. my other TCL tv is that it has the google operating system instead of the Roku setup. The TV setup was a breeze and all in all it took all of 20 minutes to get setup and back to watching TV.My daughter loves the Roku setup but I much prefer google for ease of use. I guess that’s just a matter of personal preference. I can easily get to any apps and subscriptions as well as lots of free tv on the main page. The remote has minimal buttons but has everything you need. I don’t love the volume button on the side of the remote but I’ll either get used to it or get a different universal remote. This is an art series tv and I have to say, I love the art backgrounds/screensavers available on this tv. There is an AI art setting as well to create designs to your liking or you can go to the relaxing setting and set the background to things like a fireplace with sound or a rainy day.I would definitely recommend this tv if you’re looking for an affordable but also a good quality 65” TV. Just remember, it does not have the option to go on a stand and must be wall mounted.
In the box is the 55 inch TV with included power cord, mount (screws with plastic anchors, mount with mounting instructions), white remote control with batteries, magnetic frame attachment, instruction manual and TCL extras.First Impression - This is my first TCL product in my home. The TV is really thin, still a little heavy (due to the size), loving the included mount (although it looks like it will be a little complicated) and I am glad that there are 4 HDMIs for my additional add-on (BluRay Player, Game Console(s)) Ethernet slot and the additional slots are in the middle of the back of the TV.Mounting - please note that this particular smart TV is mountable only and it does include the mount. This is not your typical mount as it is in four small pieces instead of the three piece with the one big plate that takes over your wall. There is an added mount assistant paper that you can use a thumbtack to hold in place that will show you exactly where to put the screws and the mount for the wall. There are white screws that are already in the back of the TV and I ended up using those instead of the included black screws. (Side note, the black screws that the instructions say to use are little long and I didn’t want to take the chance of the screw going to deep and messing up anything.) There are also mount holes on the back of the tv on both sides at the bottom of the TV if you want to use a different mount as well. After putting the included mount, I must say, the TV looks so much better as the TV is flush with the wall. It really looks like a picture frame sitting on the wall instead of a bulky TV.Setup - Because I already own multiple google smart TVs, setup was extremely easy. I added the TV to my Google Home app and connected to the internet, signed in with my google account and just like that, my already downloaded apps were there, I checked the ones I wanted and allowed the TV to set itself up. Once you log in, the TV will ask if you want to set up multiple accounts. Then you set up the TCL account and you are on the Home Screen. I have a lot of apps, so the set up did take a minute but once everything was loaded, I was back to my familiar Home Screen.Blu-ray player - I plugged in the blu-ray player and the TV automatically switched over to the blu-ray and began to play the movie. I chose Rio because of the beautiful colors and this TV did not disappoint. I couldn’t find the remote when I plugged in the Blu-Ray player to the TV but I was able to use the TV remote to press play.Xbox - After plugging in the XBox, there was an immediate disclaimer that discussed game mode and the different features and how to turn them on and off. The feature that was pretty cool was the aiming aid which places an aim circle (reticle) on the TV and the reticle was pretty large in size that was placed in the center of the TV and it was accurate. (The games played were Call of Duty and Fortnite.) The other features for the game mode are high frame rate mode, shadow enhancement and game picture mode. The picture quality is really good and we haven’t had a console in the family room in a while. Side note - there is a Game Master setting in the settings screen that says it is only available when the device is connected to the HDMI port.AI Art - There is a button at the top left of the remote that activates this setting. This is a setting that is definitely new to me. I normally just use the screensaver setting when you TV is idle from Google that plays automatically. There are different set of different air and my daughter and I like the ambient sound and the digital clock with the koi fish. There is one that is a picture window looking at the mountains with a desk at the window with flowers. The music sounds like the animated movie about the moving castle. There is also an ambient mode setting the setting that will allow you to choose between google photos or the Art AI.Overall, I am in love with this smart TV and I can honestly say I learn something new everyday. So far, there are really no cons for this I would definitely recommend to friends and family.
Smart Frame TVs are one of the newer trends in home TV tech and its a pretty cool concept - have a TV look like a piece of framed art when not in use, and have it a TV when you want to watch something! The TCL NXTFRAME takes that to the next level with a super slim package that packs a punch!PROS:- I was really taken back by how slim and stylish this TV is. It really does have the look of a framed piece of art on your wall with the looks of the border and the thickness of it. Of course you have the detachable faux wood bezels as well but the white looks great too.- Once mounted and setup, this is really a breeze to use. It has a matte look to it to actually provide a real life art look and not just a super glossy tv. You can either select from their Air selection or use the really cool AI Art feature to create something unique as well. Overall it really does deliver in the "smart frame" aspect of this tv.- As far as watching actual TV on this, I was very much impressed. It has 4K HDR Dolby Vision IQ on this which really brought to life everything that I watched! it handled sports well with its 120hz panel (although variable at 144hz) and the color and clarity really popped on what I watched. It really showed vivid detail and I was very happy with how it can switch from looking like art to being able to watch the biggest and best movies on this TV.- This also comes loaded with really nice features on top of this: the ports are HDMI 2.1, it has eARC, supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, has game modes for great video games, Dolby almos audio built in, and the remote is actually useful compared to others! It makes you feel validated in that TCL made sure you had a lot of great features for now and to future proof as technology advances.CONS:- I wish the inputs were a little easily accessible given how slim this is. It makes things a little challenging if you need to change how your hook ups are.- This TV can only be wall mounted. It does not come with traditional legs/stands. Which I understand it looks best mounted, but having legs would have been a nice accessory for versatility when needed.BOTTOM LINE:- This is easily the most stylish tv I have ever owned. Some TVs are too clunky are designed too industrial, while the TCL NXTFRAME truly blends into my room to add a level of sophistication and raises the appeal of everything around it. However, when I want to watch TV it brings Dolby Vision super high quality picture that makes it enjoyable for sports, movies, TV, or video games. It's loaded with great features built around a Google TVOS system, and it's so slim you will forget you have a TV mounted to your wall. This is the best frame TV you can get and you will not be disappointed!
This TV feels like a major upgrade and a step into the future. I really like how many settings there are and are adjustable; you can save your settings in each picture mode and freely switch between them (including turning down the brightness and choosing whether you want auto-brightness turned on). I typically keep the TV in low power (energy saving) mode, but occasionally switch to different ones for movies or video games. The matte finish on the screen gives the tv kind of a luxurious look when it’s off. I am not able to use the included flush mount, so I did find an articulating wall mount that fit. Be aware the back of this TV is not like any I have seen, and some “universal” accessories won’t work. If you can flush-mount this TV, I truly think this could look like a big framed piece of art (pro tip though, turn the brightness waaay down to get the artsy feel)This is my first experience with Google TV. I turned it off and put the TV in “app only” mode. Google TV part tailors ads and things you may like, but app mode makes it more like a Roku/Apple TV interface. Google TV does not search or perform actions within most apps, so I don’t feel like im missing out with it off. There was also brief lag sometimes with Google TV turned on, but I haven’t experienced that since turning it off.Overall, great things to say about the quality of this TV. it is definitely a step into “smart TV” territory, so if you are upgrading from something more basic like I was, some interfaces may take 2 seconds to get used to. My irks all seem to stem from software UI, which can easily be patched and upgraded in time. This TV is very easy to use, very personalizable, and I am very happy to display this in my home.
