I bought the card because, like so many things, you can never have too much storage. I have not yet installed it into one of my many tablets (5 total) but will decide on the winner soon. The card arrived in a timely manner via USPS; so great price, free shipping, all is good.

the off-brand usb adapter recognized it as 27gb. Similar 128gb U2 micro sd cards are recognized correctly. The other two usb adapters I have handy work correctly.

These might be okay for occassional use, but when you're really using them daily, they tend to fail more often than not. My anecdotal failure rate is at 100% at 2-3 weeks. Not recommended for Adoptable Storage in Android; encryption seems to stress the card's controller until it just gives up. Leave it unencrypted as a regular SD card, but be prepared for data loss. Both come up as write-protected and can no longer be formatted or used in any device; 1 was already replaced by Newegg, and now the other one has failed. Using a USB adapter without write-lock, and device's own formatting tool. Either fails. Cards are dead.

Tested against 3 year old Samsung Evo Select 128GB. The speed results were identical in tests of large file read and copy. I bought the Team expecting faster read times. I'm going to put the Samsung back in and use it instead of this chip. The reliability issues will dissuade me from using Team MicroSD's in the future.
I've tried formatting this card in different formats (FAT32, NTFS, ext4, etc.) and, no matter what device is using it (Camera, Storage Drive, Raspberry Pi, etc.), the data on it becomes corrupt and unreadable. Unfortunately, I thought the first time it happened was a fluke but it's now happened 3 more times but this all is happening just after my 30 day return window. I'd love to use this card but I can't trust it with any type of data. 0/10 would not recommend.
I recorded video on my Sony a6000 DSLR at all settings and this worked like a champ with no stuttering on the videos at any resolution. It also worked great for the pictures as well doing multi-shot. I would definitely get this brand again if I needed more space.
Measured speeds of 93+MB/s read and 38+MB/s write (sequential). The random read and write speeds were good for a micro SD card (about 12MB/s for reads, and 4.8MB/s for writes). This is for the 128 GB Elite model under CrystalDiskMark. YMMV.
Stay away! These must use some sub-par flash. I bought two and they both stopped working within a few weeks of using. I can still see the files on the computer, but the flash is either too slow or has become unreadable to my video players (AGPtek® Black Mini Full HD and NEUMI Atom 1080P Full-HD). These players have no trouble with my other SanDisk SD cards, Micro Center SD cards, Samsung SD cards, or SanDisk USBs. These Team SD cards initially worked, but I started noticing that the video players would be back on the main menu, so I'd restart them, and they'd begin playing, but fail to read the video files after a few minutes. After a few weeks, they would completely fail to even begin playing. Computer can still read/write the drive and the video players can still ... MoreStay away! These must use some sub-par flash. I purchased the 128GB one. V30, U3. I use FooBar2000 (Ffmpeg backend) to play FLAC/WAV files off the mSD (90GB worth), 9hrs a day, 5 days a week, off my phone. There's no hitching on playback, no sudden pauses, so it's not reaching max read speeds. I've used it for over 6 months now, and no issues at all. Transfering albums to it from my desktop (Android-File-Transfer on ArchLinux, via USB3.0 port) takes around 10-15 seconds. These are albums I ripped myself in FLAC, that are up to 1.2mbps (1,200kbps) in bitrate.
bought this for my son to use in his nintendo switch. was able to copy data from the smaller card he was using. plugged in to his device and worked right away. happy with the storage so far.
