STRANGELY seems to alter the function of the CLRTC jumper to run at forced defaults rather than the intended flushing of the BIOS without booting or POSTING. I have NEVER had this happen with any other hardware, And I am at a loss to explain how this can occur. Was a nightmare within a daydream to get the system to run with this product installed at first. If I hadn't had another kit of DDR4 available with the particular timings and speed it wants to run at in my setup, I don't think I would have gotten it to run at all, save for with it's weird response of full boot at stock settings while CLRTC jumper is engaged or MANY MANY more grueling hours of try this setting, remove the power and battery, try again. Spent 5 hours as it is to get it to run, in the end entirely with a bit of luck via a BIOS profile from another kit. DEFINITELY Not for beginning system builders, and from my experience, another kit seems to be required for proper functional set up. Also, as previously stated, the only way to flush my bios with this memory in my system is to unplug it, remove the battery, and discharge the capacitors (hold power button while unplugged). Loses one egg out of 5 between the weird effect it has on the CLRTC jumper's function and the fact that it was a nightmare initially getting it to POST or proceed past the POST, and the fact that it wants a setting enabled that it disables access to, mostly for the nightmare of settings tweaking and the fact that it seems to be sheer luck that solved it, on top of the fact that it will not run without the DOCP and disables and removes access to it. If it were easier to get it setup and running, or at least didn't remove access to a setting it seems to require enabled (or at least didn't seem to require a setting it disables and removes), I would give it 6 out of 5 eggs, Despite the nightmare of getting it to run initially, it runs flawlessly once I got it runnin. Even with only 2 of these DIMMS installed for identical ram capacity, speed, and timings to what I replaced, it runs anything the old kit would at lower consumption (around 5% less memory usage on average) and more stability with better overall responsiveness. *** The initial setup of this kit is thus far the only negative experience I have had with TEAM GROUP memory, and I have been using it since 2013 when I bought my first kit of TEAM GROUP T-FORCE VULCAN DDR3 1600MHz 4x4GB kit to replace a similar kit from a different brand that had burned out after only 20 months, and have used T-FORCE kits in almost a dozen other rigs I have built that still run without issue as much as 9 years later. The issues with this kit seems to be particular to the T-CREATE series, and most of the issues were expected based on other reviews. Except the effect it has on the CLRTC jumper. I have found NOTHING in other reviews or the several forum postings about this product I visited on a separate device while trouble shooting the installation, so I am unsure if this is a common issue for the product or particular to my setup pairing it with a Ryzen 5 PRO 4650G on the ASUS PRIME B450M-A/CSM board.

I purchase Ryzen 7 2700x a Gigabyte x570 ATX, NVMe and this ram, with intentions of upgrading to 54gb PC3200 (add another 32gb kit) for my ProTools workstation DAW. encountered freezing after reboot loading OS (Win 10Pro x64). was intermittent, I updated BIOS on my x570 MoBo, and the freezes surfaced intermittent again. I fixed by upping the voltages from 1.20v to 1.29. increased to 1.31v and no issues, then reduced until the freezing returned, took couple hours but 1.29v = no freezing where as 1.27 occasionally, fairly insignificant increase, but resulted in stable and any heat increate is marginal, and case ventilation easily compensates.

Perfectly compatible with dell xps 8940, which cant recognize xmp profiles. These had the same timing and speed as the oem Samsung ram Looks great. No issues so far
If your expectations is solid performing ram , at a high quantity for workstation purposes look no further.
Great value. 2 X 16GB RAM DDR4 3200 PC4 25600 JEDEC for a good price. Easy install. Board recognized it instantly. Now I have an upgraded system. I highly recommend this RAM for anyone trying to update their PC. Especially those with an HP Desktop M01-F1024 with Ryzen 7 4700G.
