So I have replaced some 1TB Samsung 970 EVO Plus drive with these, and they are far and above superior in both performance and thermals. I run 4 disks on a 4x Burfication X16 card in a TrueNAS server (Ryzen 5 3600 65W stock with 32 GB ECC UDimms at 3600Mhz OC), This gives me 4x M.2 slots on the card for NVME SSDs. I have noticed that during Re-silvering and Scrub tasks, the disks tend to write less (TBW does not climb much) and I am seeing a 15 deg C reduction in the average operating temp. I have not seen these drives exceed 50 degrees C. Based on TBW so far I should reach 6 years of use nearly. The other drives were in the Petabytes scale for written after 2 years. These Team Group drives do run faster as I am comparing PCI-E Gen3 to Gen4.
