We purchased 2 Teco 20kw portable air con units for the childrens rooms, both developed problems and stopped producing cool air. Luck had it one was replaced under Warranty, it again stopped working after 10 months. They simply do not last. The AC compressor fails. they are also expensive for a 2kw AC unit, theirs plenty of competition out their just shop around.

No good for use in QLD. Barely cools a 2m x 2m room. This is in summer Dec 2020 30 degree heat. Stand any further than a meter away and you won't feel it. Also if you can't vent the back of the unit properly then it's worse, as it pumps A LOT of heat out the back out the unit.
It is a waste of money. Stopped working after 1 week.
Easy install to bedroom with generic window adaptor. Easily holds down temp to 24 degrees on a 40 degree day to single bedroom area.
Unit is very noisy and bit light on capacity -but did the job of cooling my office while my main a/c was being repaired -could not use it in a bedroom!!
Bought this one month ago and has stopped working . No cold air comes out at all . Do not recommend
Good little air con for cooling a small area like a bedroom or caravan
Horrible! I have a tiny room and it doesn't even cool it down! Goes down to 18 degrees which feels like 26 degrees. Absolute waste of money
