I was very sceptical about air fryers but once I used it I thought what a great purchase. The product is so easy to use and make great tasting food! It is so quick any easy to put anything in particularly the steaming option, dumplings are quick and easy and taste delicious. It cooks frozen chips in just 8 minutes and they come out crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside, my kids love it. The best part is you don't need to add much if any oil and the food just tastes so great while remaining healthy. Chicken is soft and juicy and a pork roast is tender and the crackling is to die for. It is so quick and convenient to use for a quick meal after work and its quick and easy to clean. Bought this about 1 month ago. The instructions in drawing form were sometimes a bit confusing but using the digital touchscreen made it very simple and easy. Adjusting the time and temperature instead of using the preset time and temperature was very easy and allowed for a personal choice of how the food was cooked. The first 2 times the machine gave off an odour while cooking and some of the food had a slightly strange taste but this did not happen after the second meal was cooked. It cooks quicker than conventinal methods, does not have a strong cooking odour and is easy to clean. We now use this for as much cooking as possible instead of the oven or grill or stove top.

The only downside is there is just one chamber for cooking so you can't steam veggies while grilling or roasting meat.

It took a little while to understand the pictorial instructions. But once I had that sorted out, it was very easy to use the product! My first dish was cooking steak with a delicious sauce. It was extremely easy to set the relevant settings; and follow the recipe that I had. I just had to "set and forget" the product. My food came out very delicious and well cooked! My second dish was frying some chips. I just had them in too long. But that was just teething problems. They came out well cooked and delicious! My third dish was cooking fish with a sauce. That was very easy to do. I became more confident in understanding and using the buttons. Again, the food came out well cooked and delicious! As my first aifryer I had big expectations for what it can do. I decided to purchase the Tefal as it was on sale and sounded great with the 3 functions and the large capacity. Iv currently had it for two week and am honestly not thrilled. Firstly it automatically selects the grill function rather than airfry. This is super annoying as it's not very noticeable and if you forget to select airfryer then you end up grilling and drying out your food. Secondly, it doesn't have a "mid stir " reminder like some others fryers which is fine because I just set it for half the cooking time and give the food a flip or a stir BUT the end cooking chime sound is so low that even when I am standing next to it I can barely hear it let alone if I'm in another room. I'm not sure if it's just this airfryer that lacks ability and function or if airfryers are just overrated and people that love them don't actually understand flavour and how to fry properly in oil.

The first chicken meal I cooked with the Grill function was so moist and cooked perfectly by following the instructions on the recipe app. The Steam function is ideal for steaming vegies and the Airfryer makes the best chips (fresh or frozen) which stay hot and crisp long after they have been taken out of the airfryer. Overall I have enjoyed cooking and experimenting with this new appliance and love all the function features which it offers. The steam function is brilliant to cook meat and keep it juicy on the inside then a quick airfry to crisp up the outside! Our new favourite thing to cook is dimsims.. steam for 16 minutes then airfry for 3-4 minutes to crisp up the skin - so good!! My teenage boys are cooking their own snacks & even cleaning up afterwards. Another bonus of the steam is it makes cleaning the machine a breeze, everything just wipes off. I easily fit in a 1.2kg pork shoulder with room to cook some potatos around the meat. We are really impressed with the Tefal 3 in 1 - my only concern is that there is very basic instructions. The Tefal Easy Fry Grill and Steam is absolutely incredible. It's does exactly as it's name implies. It makes cooking easy. It's options are perfect for cooking a multitude of recipes, from perfect moist and tender roasts, steaks and chops to crispy chips, juicy vegies, delicious fish and yummy snacks. And as for the Pork Crackling...WOW! The best I've ever had. I've even cooked cakes! The options are limitless and the Tefal recipes give great ideas. The preset functions make the product simple to use and the basket capacity is excellent, big enough to feed a family of four easily and cleaning is a breeze. It's without doubt my favourite Kitchen appliance. I'd recommend this product to anyone looking for the perfect Air Fryer. It's totally awesome!
Very pleased with results so far, but with a few criticisms. Steaming food is great but the time required is way more than the standard 25 minutes - more like 40 minutes. I found that when you open bowl to look at meat during grilling phase the timer resets to 10 minutes. This overcooked the steak big time. Aware of the trap now. Alarm when food is ready is very soft easy to miss.

As with all products there’s usually a downside and that is the woefully inadequate manual. Just a series of almost illegible hand diagrams in a booklet about 10cm x 8cm. I guess this is to avoid supplying many translations. But come on - if it can’t easily be used out of the box, many might be justified in complaining. Having found the booklet useless, I resorted to downloading their recipe book. But again I was disappointed as all they cover is fancy modern cooking and ingredients, with none of the basics to get one going and pick up experience - roasts, bread, ... MoreExcellent product.
