I bought this to replace the handle for our existing Ingenio frying pans as the release mechanism had started to stick. I was really surprised when reading the warranty limitations that Tefal don't recommend that you have the handle attached to your pan when cooking and that it should only be used to carry the pans from hob to oven. Really? There is a reason why pans have handles. So while this handle does what it's supposed to, I am disappointed that it isn't manufactured to a standard that allows you to use your pans like normal pans. 3 star rating reflects this limitation on its use.

Use this with the Tefal griddle pan I bought. Really easy to fit and very secure. Releases easily too. I think if I decide to buy more pans like this I would buy another handle to make sure I cloud move my pots about easily on the stove. Great for putting into oven handle coming off makes it fit better.

Needed a second Tefal handle as have a full set of pans. Really great product to cook with & the detachable handles are such a practical idea. Easy to use on the cooker & great for packing pans away neatly in a cupboard or drawer. Found it easily on John Lewis website. It was quick to order & was a good price. It arrived very promptly. So a great all round service.

Does the job.Holds well. Doesn't stick and doesn't jam when water goes inside.I would advise to have more than one as it's just useful when you have pans.Much better quality than the ones out in the market at the moment.
There is only one plus for this product that is, the pots without the handles are easier to store in the cupboard and in the washing up bowl.The downsides are this1 ) my wife's hands are not strong enough to attach and detach the handles to the pots ( even I have to use two hands to to attach them )2 ) after reading the instructions for the handles you are told not to leave the handles attached to the pots whilst cooking i.e.the pots on the hot gas or electric hobs. When first used I didn't read that and whilst cooking hard boiled eggs for over 5 minutes the handle became dangerously too hot to touch and I the noticed that the plastic part of the handle had started to melt and had distorted.
Love these detachable handles that fit my range of saucepans and frying pans. Very handy for storage within cupboards...no handles to stick out. I bought an extra set as I didn't want to keep detaching and attaching if I had more than 2 pans on the go. Great product. I don't usually fully immerse them in water, rather I wipe them down with a soapy cloth and rinse leaving them to drain before drying and putting away. I don't think they're dishwasher proof? I haven't wanted to try them in there just in case they're not! I would also state that you need to have a fairly firm grip to attach the handle, releasing it by pressing the 2 red buttons seems easier. Ingenious idea for removable handles which saves so much space in the kitchen, They snap on easily, have a firm grip, and are just as simply removed. One slight problem is that you need to be careful, if using gas, not to allow flame to touch the handle where it attaches to the pan .... otherwise you end up with a slightly cracked handle!! Would still recommend!
My original handle is stuck on a saucepan, so I needed another for my other pans. A general search pointed me towards Dunelm where I discovered it was half the price of buying from Amazon. Ordered to pick up from store so no p & p costs either. Excellent communication by email from Dunelm. Five star service and five star price.
I bought this wok to replace a much worn non stick one and had spent time searching for one with 2 handles, unsuccessfully. I bought the handle to go with this wok separately and hoped to be able to manage. I have arthritis and do find one handle heavy to manipulate but am pleased that the weight keeps the pan still when using, as you can't cook and use the handle at the same time. Mmm.
Given the ingenious design cooking with no handle is no good for anyone. Easy click and clamp design to attach to the pots and pans when cooking up a storm. Unclamp with a click to wash and store away with ease.
