I had a Tefal pressure cooker for many, many years. Had to buy a new one as old one not compatible with newly installed Induction hob. Needless to say, not disappointed.

It is good but i did not realise that it was not non stick so have to be careful from burning things while cooking and also its not like India's pressure cookers so function are different and still calculating how many whistles i need before i finish cooking. Good thing is it does not make mess while whistle.

I still haven't found the perfect pressure cooker yet. This one is pretty good, does the job, but it seems to need more power to get the pressure up in comparison to others.The one-click pressure release is great... saves having to hold it down with a wooden spoon.

Works well, quality product from a well known brand. I read other reviews before I purchased this product glad I made the right decision. Easy to operate and easy to clean. The result is fantastic. The stainless steel material is thick and feels solid. Ive been using it many times now I hope this will last a long time. Happy cooking!
I bought this product about a year ago, I hardly being used it but every time i used made me regret it.i was expecting good quality because of the brand but its not worth it even 1. Its not pressure cooker, not even a pot . Horrible . Not recommend it at all, wasting money . Im not if its really Tefal brand which my mum has same brand and happy with it.
I bought this to replace a Smart Plus pressure cooker that leaked constantly from the day I bought it. The Tefal is a much higher quality cooker, it has never leaked at all - brilliant. The lid and main pot are easy to close and open. The silicon lid seal ensures a good leak proof joint. Being made of stainless steel it is easy to clean with a little lemon juice. It is quite heavy when full but the handle on the opposite side of the main handles makes it easy to move around. I use mine on an induction hob and it works very well, comes up to pressure quickly, and cooks in a fraction of the time it would take using conventional saucepans. There are a number of safety devices to stop the pressure getting too high, so it is completely safe to use. It cooks in the way that all pressure cookers do by increasing the pressure inside so thereby increasing the cooking temperature. This speeds up the cooking process and being a sealed container it keeps most of the nutrients in the food. I have seen a complaint that the silicon seal absorbs the odours of the cooking and releases them in storage, I have not had this problem, if I did I would simply put the seal in a large zip bag once washed for storage. If I have a complaint it would be that the polished finish is very easy to scratch in daily use. All in all I am very pleased with the Tefal 5 Neo 6ltr pressure cooker and wish I had not wasted my money on the Smart plus - live and learn! Anyone want a leaking pressure cooker? - thats a Joke its gone in the bin!
It would have received 5 stars if there had been a few more instructions and a couple of recipes for the complete beginner; but it's really good. Cooks food in double-quick time. It is a little difficult to see when the 'at pressure' indicator has popped-up but once you have used it a couple of times you can tell. I would definitely recommend this product.
