This steamer really increased the functionality of my Cuisine Companion. it was a gift with purchase. I was so pleased with how it increased my enjoyment of my Cuisine Companion and loved it soooooooooo much I purchased the Pastry Companion which I'm excited to use. If it is only half as good as the External steamer basket I will be more than pleased. just gotta love Tefal!

My steamer arrived yesterday, I used it to make Basil Pesto from the Tefal Companion book. It was so much easier then cutting a circle of baking paper to add to the steamer basket that the unit comes with. Instead you can lay a large piece of Salmon on this steamer companion basket itself and it just makes things so much easier.

Bought this to go with my recently purchased Companion. I have been able to replace other previous vegetable steaming items that were not as efficient to use and being plastic were harder to clean and maintain. Now I am able to steam all our vegetables in the one convenient appliance that is easy to clean and store.
I bought this a few weeks ago and I truely wished I had bought it earlier. It makes cooking dinner a breeze. With this steamer I can steam at two layers making cooking time so much quicker. Its great quality too. I can highly recommend this accessory for the cuisine companion. !!
I was lucky to get this with my purchase of the Cuisine Companion, I made dumplings on the weekend and a few other delights, having the double levels in it, made it simple than a steamer on the cooktop. Really happy with it, easy to clean and simple plus to use.

I purchased the i-companion xl as I had a kitchen full of appliances that weren't really being used and having the product has given me back a lot of kitchen space.I've now got the steamer basket and can honestly say the steamer basket is the perfect companion to the xl.We've steamed fish and vegetables, poached eggs, asparagus, custards, bliss balls.It simplifies life by not having to use multiple appliances.
