This is now my go-to torque wrench for car work. Split beam TWs are so much nicer to use than the traditional rotate-grip-to-adjust because I do not have to worry about accidentally changing the torque target during use, and there is no need to store the torque wrench adjusted all the way down. The time you save would quickly pay off the added cost of the tool, depending on how often it is used. The slight swivel in the head is super useful, as well---there have been many fasteners I was able to torque down without having to use a crows foot or remove parts for clearance.#sweepstakes

This torque wrenches great it hasn't let me down yet it clicks very loudly you don't have to dial it down when you're done with it because it's not spring loaded... It is made by a great company Tekton made in the USA they have a lifetime warranty on their tools if anything breaks they will replace it no questions asked you call or email the company and they were literally send you what's new tool in 3 Day 🔥 I've been buying a lot of tech tekton tools lately and I haven't broke any of them yet
I was torking my commode lid bolts and this thing fell apart right into the commode+
This thing pretty much fell apart on my guys after a few months of use. I calibrate all of the equipment for our company. One of our mechanics brought this torque wrench back to me because the metal part that covers the knob to adjust the torque setting, came loose. The metal part holding it in place came loose. And as I was looking it over that same spring/metal part came completely out and the torque adjustment knob came unscrewed at the same time. AND the dial showing the torque setting fell out of place and disappeared into the bowels of the handle. I have gone through three split beam type torque wrenches in the past year. Two of them are Cornwell and now this brand. We are not hard on our tools. These tools are just crap.
Works great. Loud click
