Be very careful when reading the return policy! I thought I could return the pillow topper for 30 days, but you can only return a mattress, not a pillow topper. Unfortunately, this product was not for me. I am young and healthy and it caused back pain from the first night I put it on my bed. I tried 5 nights and the pain worsened. I understand many people love this product, it just wasn't for me. Regardless, Tempur pedic would not refund money. As a "zero waste" company, I offered to give away or donate the pillow topper; their zero waste policy also includes no refunds unless there is a defect; in which case you can file a claim. This has been a traumatic experience with Tempurpedic and their costumer service. Buyer beware and don't buy from them, avoid at all cost. This was purchased on their Tempurpedic Official website. Here's what happened: I ordered the Tempur-Adapt + Cooling Topper size queen. It arrived DIRTY and with a TEAR/HOLE punctured into the cover and a BROKEN FAULTY ZIPPER that does NOT open. So it is IMPOSSIBLE to remove the supposedly removable cover. Also it looks like there could be damage in the foam underneath the punctured hole in the cover but since it is impossible to remove the cover, I was not able to check that properly. Clearly they do not do any quality control before sending their products out to costumers. I contacted their costumer service in writing and was ... There should be specifications on these products of such detail that a buyer can be fully informed on how the ‘available’ topper differs. Tricking the customer is NEVER a good idea. If only one option is listed, for a quality-oriented provider, the customer has a right to believe that the now, sole option (for that thickness) is its highest quality option. If not (here is where Tempurpedic fails again), there should be an acceptable return policy. This is a MATTRESS topper, which is used no differently from a mattress. It should have the SAME return policy as a mattress, NOT a pillow or sheet. Because of the misleading information on the website, I believe I was tricked. What would have been acceptable, especially as the topper has not been used, would be to allow for an exchange (to the Supreme, and with the same 40% discount; should be no higher than the price I paid in May on sale) or a full refund. The return policy on the topper should not differ from the mattress policy. I tried reaching out to the Tempurpedic company but they would not work with me at all

We have a tempurpedic mattress currently in our primary home and love it My husband and I purchased a second home and had to buy all new mattresses.. We wanted the same feel mattress at our second home and although the mattresses were good quality, we felt we needed extra height and added comfort to match our actual tempurpedic mattress. The topper was perfect. The height added to the existing mattress is about 3 inches and is just enough height so you feel like you aren't sleeping on the floor. The firmness is medium and it is slightly less firm than our original tempurpedic mattress, but provides great support. I would recommend going one above medium if you prefer firmer mattress. The topper is the next best thing to getting and actual tempurpedic mattress. Works ... Really amazing mattress topper. It completely met my expectation. I bought a mattress online based on reviews (Bear Mattress) last year. I never really got used to how firm it is. So I thought this topper was a reasonable priced item to try and reduce the discomfort without having to buy an entire new mattress and it is great! Perfect amount of softness added. I really wanted a bed that isn’t too soft or too firm. This topper not only made my bed better, it still keeps it cool and comfortable in the Hawaii heat. It does take some time to air out but once it has, it’s absolutely great! Money well spent especially for those that don’t want to buy a brand new bed. Highly recommend
The topper with a cooling cover is shorter than the mattress upon which it rests.When I try to turn, I have to sit up physically, turn on my side, and then lie back down. I must do the same thing if I want to go from my side to my back.Having to wake up to change positions is causing me to lose sleep.The cooling protector does not allow the sheet to move either, which adds to the lack of moveability.Very disappointed. The reviews promised such great sleep. I would appreciate being contacted to discuss issues and possible resolutions.

We have adjusted it multiple times but it doesn't quite cover the width of the mattress and because of that it feels like our bed has shrunk in width. I'm sitting here at 430 in the morning writing this review because I can't sleep. Why can't I sleep? Because the cooling topper I paid an extra $60 for does the exact opposite. It absorbs heat, gets hotter, and then radiates it back at me. The mattress the topper is on is actually a cooling mattress, but I needed something else due to some back issues and while the topper is comfortable in that regard it literally wakes me up due to the heat. After months of trying I took the topper off my bed in the middle of the night. Do not buy it. There is no cooling technology. None. It exacerbated the issues with my back to the point I woke up with pain in my lower back. Its a waste of money.
