It's luxuriously soft while still being supportive, leaving no unnecessary strain on the neck or shoulders and never needing fluffing.The contours of the pillow are perfect for all sleeping positions and can be flipped around and adjusted for optimal support. The material seems to never lose its resiliency and can be folded or bunched up like a normal pillow without really affecting the material, although the need to do that with these pillows is almost non-existent! For those who like a little more elevation when sleeping, the pillow can also easily be slipped into any pillow case with another plush pillow to provide a bit of a different experience.The protective case that comes included removes easily for washing and the pillow material has no smell to "gas off" like other cheaper memory foam products, although care is required when washing the case to avoid damaging the protective lining. Although not necessary, to ensure the longevity of the pillow, I recommend using a cheap protective pillow case.Besides the pillow, I also have a Tempur-Pedic office chair that I've been using for about 6 years and previously used a Tempur-Pedic bed as well. I trust the quality, durability, and comfort of these products, so replacing my old pillow with a new one was a no-brainer. With the same regular care and cleaning, I fully expect to be sleeping on this pillow well into the next 10 years, if not longer!

Why am I writing a review for a pillow? Because I feel cheated by Tempurpedic. My recent customer experience with them has been extremely disappointing. It's evident that Tempurpedic's priority lies more in maintaining their policies, than ensuring customer satisfaction. Their response to my concerns reflects a lack of commitment to their customers' well-being and a high commitment to absurd pillow policy. I am now out a high amount of money, but Tempurpedic continues without a care in the world about my issues...why would they? I already paid them.I truly am deeply disappointed with both the Tempurpedic neck pillow and their customer service. I regret it so so much...I would advise against purchasing this product and would caution others against doing so unless they are certain it will meet their expectations. I am guilty of not checking their return policies before my purchase because, one more time, I fully trusted their company.The infuriating thing is that the pillow is absolutely in pristine condition, having been used only for a 5 minutes trial while protected by a clean pillowcase. Meanwhile their return policy for their mattresses is a 90 days trial period, after which you can return the mattress if not fully satisfied! So, they will take back a used mattress that people have been rolling around on for three months, but not a perfectly clean pillow used for a few minutes! I shudder to think of those poor unsuspecting customers who purchase a TempurPedic mattress without realizing that it might have been used by someone else for three months! It is disgraceful and dishonest.I will never trust that company again, I found out the hard way that they are despicable and totally untrustworthy.

I measured myself according to the size chart, and my shoulder measurement was 7"-- so, side sleeper above 6", so I got the large. I received the package and lay down briefly on the pillow with the pillow still in the plastic packaging. I could tell it wasn't going to work, and wrote the company to inquire about a return because I hadn't opened the pillow packaging. They denied the request, citing they "are a zero waste company" (hard to understand given the pillow arrives wrapped in plastic). So even though I measured correctly and according to their chart I ordered the right size, the pillow was not a good fit and now I'm stuck with a very expensive ... MoreI am a side sleeper. Now to review the pillow:For me sleeping on my side, the large bulge hits my jaw while the top of my head hits the depression in the pillow. This torques my head much further out of alignment than a regular pillow would, making my head cock to one side. The foam is firm enough that the large bulge doesn't collapse sufficiently to allow comfortable side sleeping posture. I'm a large male and have a regular size head for my body, so it's not like I have a tiny light head that can't push the foam down. Look at the profile of the pillow and imagine how that would be a good side sleeper support--the top of your head is going to tip down and push your head/spine out of alignment. Maybe you're a back sleeper, which is what this pillow is really meant for. How is your shoulder broadness going to predict the height of the large bulge that's going to work for your anatomy? That's more a factor of your neck length and how far forward you like your head to be while you sleep. Try this pillow in person first. Do not order from the website.

We decided to try out some natural latex pillows in an effort to be more eco-friendly in our purchase. We went through three natural latex contour pillows and found each of them gave "push back" to your head, straining your neck and back (ouch). We were able to return and get a refund of our money in each case, so that was ok. We decided to revisit Tempur-Pedic again and went to the local store, only to find they only sold ones with gel inside to keep your head cool. We live in the north and don't need help keeping cool especially in winter. So I went online to the Tempur-Pedic website and found the "Original Contour Pillow". As for lying on your back, again it is too firm and causes my head to feel pulled all the way down to my mid back. The shape is excellent but the hardness is certainly not. It is not like the original pillows (as advertised) we had from 1999, in the least. I knew Tempur-Pedic did not offer a return policy but tried calling to see if we could return the unopened one that still sits in the living room. The answer was no. I thought that to be rather unreasonable being it is completely untouched - still in the box. I would not recommend Tempur-Pedic to anyone based on that, and how uncomfortable the pillow actually is. Alas, my search for a soft yet supportive contour pillow, still goes on (is that really to much to ask for?)

I ordered a Tempur-Neck Pillow to help address chronic neck pain that I've had which seems to be worse first thing in the morning. I had a Tempur-Pedic pillow years ago and loved it! I have been a little disappointed with the new pillow I just received. I ordered a SMALL based on my neck to shoulder measurements using the guide (I'm 5'4" and ~115 pounds for reference with a small frame). While the contour shape fits my neck okay, the actual dimensions of the pillow are lacking. It's too small for a standard or queen size pillow case to fit on it. My queen size pillow case can practically wrap around it lengthwise twice! Not having the advantage of seeing the product in real life, since I was shopping online, I relied on the customer service rep to assure me that I was choosing the correct neck pillow for a Queen sized bed and pillow cases. The rep even checked with a "supervisor" to let me know I should order "medium." I received the 2 pillows via UPS. When I opened the box, I could see that the pillows were not large enough to fill a Queen sized pillow case. Called customer service again - and she assured me - yes - those are the correct sheets. Once again, after going through several hoops with customer service, sending pictures, comparison shots, measurements, pictures of measurements - they informed me that this was the "correct size" and would not taking any further steps to ensure that I received a satisfactory product. I suppose the lesson that rings true through this experience is "Buyer beware!" The sheets were bad too. Had holes in them after 1 wash. If you are still inclined to buy either of these products - don't say I didn't try to warn you.
