Bought these shoes about a month ago. I'm generally a gym climber but also a bit of outdoor lead. These shoes are fantastic. My foot is a bit more on the larger and narrow side and these fit fantastic. 9.5 street, and these fit perfectly as a 42. They were pretty aggressive at first, but after wearing them a bit they're a bit more moderate in their bend. The adjustable straps are very nice for getting that perfect fit. I highly recommend these and will be using these as my go to shoes for the foreseeable future.

Easy on / off. No break in and almost no stretch. Sensitive as a slipper but durable as a shoe. Retains well through one resole as long as there's no rand work. Precise, just enough downturn on the toe to be good for steep, great for heel hooks and lame', smears and edges well.Love this shoe for bouldering and technical sport climbing!

The Mundakas are an awesome slipper that are really versatile. I've used them on hard slabby stuff, where I really need to feel what's going on under my toes, and also on steeper routes where I need to be able to toe in incut holds. I've climbed several 5.14s in these. They are more sensitive than a shoe like the Iati, so they give you better feel, but aren't going to be as supportive when edging on tiny stuff. That said, I've also crammed my feet into a tighter pair, and those edge well, thanks to the support.

This is my second pair of these shoes. I have high arches and was looking for a shoe that would actually go with my foot instead of against it and these do the job perfectly. The tip is really solid too and makes you feel solid in your feet when on the wall. Would really recommend. I size 6.5 W in real life which is the size I got this time. My previous pair was .5 size shorter and it was a snug fit - taking your shoes off between most climbs. My previous pair lasted me a year of climbing 3x a week - mostly indoor bouldering.
I bought these shoes in the wrong size and the return was an absolute breeze!Awesome shoes btw, just didn’t fit correctly! This company is hilarious with their messaging and super user friendly on their site. Overall 5/5 place to buy from.
I bought these (size 8 US) after climbing in scarpa vapor v laces (42 EU) and they’re my new favorite shoes. I have extremely high arches and these fit perfectly. There’s a roomy toe box and a solid heel. The rubber wears pretty quickly but the upper holds up well so you’ll be able to resolve no problem. Only other complaint is that the strap system takes some effort to undo so there’s no real advantage over laces
I bought these shoes a month ago and have used them numerous times in the gym and outside. I sized half euro size bigger than my la sportiva katanas and 2 Euro sizes smaller than my five tens. Overall best shoes I have ever had. Way more comfortable than my katanas and better for overhanging athletic style climbs. Way better edging and heel than my five tens. The strap system is amazing once you set it up once.
I've used these for gym training and outside technical sport climbing. Used to wear Solutions, but these offer better fit and feel with precise toe and heel. Surprisingly goodon steep. Slipper feel with full shoe durability. Still use Solutions for dime vert edges, but these remain my choice for Everything Else sport climbing and bouldering.
Great grip, comfortable, and long lasting.Perform well in overhang and slab. Appropriate shoe for any well rounded climber that enjoys climbing all kinds of routes. Definitely recommendable.
These shoes are quite honestly the best. I tried them on once upon a time and thought they were super comfortable for an aggressive shoe but ended up going with a La Sportiva model for my first intermediate/advanced shoe. Since graduating from Tarantulaces, I've worn La Sportiva Otakis, Miuras, and Evolv Kronos. My favorite things about the Mundaka: super sensitive, great for overhangs but also a strong performer on more slabby and techy blocs, easy to get on and off, great velcro closure system that is very customizable to your foot, and a very comfortable tongue "sock" that makes my feet and bad ankles feel more supported. I hate stiff, flat soled shoes that don't allow me to feel out my foot placements. I've come to realize I need a very sensitive shoe and the Mundakas are great in that department. They're very grippy and allow for a lot of precision. After a bout an hour at the gym, I do like to slip out of these halfway, but they aren't super uncomfortable like my Otakis and Miuras were. I can wear them pretty much all session and am always happy to strap on and get rocking.I hope they never stop making these shoes. I was lucky to nab them on sale but they are honestly worth every penny of the full $200 price tag.Sizing - I wear a 41.5 in La Sportiva and wear a UK 8 in these. Fit is perfect.
