The popularity of the award-winning Oasi and the demand for a lower volume version led Tenaya to design this new edition. The Oasi LV maintains all of the key features of the original Oasi in a lower volume package. It will radically change how you think about high performance climbing shoes. Its down-turn and down-camber are ideally suited on steep climbs, but you will immediately notice the edging and smearing performance as well - a true distinction. The 3.5mm Vibram XS Grip outsole and highly sensitive midsole make the Oasi LV feel like an extension of your foot rather than a box around it, and the comfort is unparalleled. The two straps utilize Draxtor Technology to provide a fine tuned fit. You can expect consistent performance throughout the life of the shoe, thanks to the synthetic upper and cotton lining.

Best I've worn!

On my second pair of Oasi LV and have stopped dreaming of other shoes. They are hands down the comfiest, grippiest, most precise shoes I've worn and that's coming off from two years of Katana Laces, among a string of earlier experiments. I really hope Tenaya will remain as awesome as they are and keep this shoe in production. By the way, it's kinda marketed as a women's model but I've worn it as a guy with somewhat narrow feet and, like I said, it was love from first send. I tried several sizes of regular Oasi first but they were either wY too short or left a chunk of dead space in my arch. The Low Volume version fits like a glove, if you're able to track it down in large enough size online (9.5 Men's for me).

Beware, Mens Sizing

Ive been climbing in these both outside and inside for the last few weeks and like them a lot. I had heard they were narrow but I would say they’re pretty average in width. They’re slightly uncomfortable in the toe for me but I have wide toes so that’s to be expected. Other than that they’re very comfortable. I love the lacing system, it really allows you to adjust the fit a lot while still being quick to take on and off. The toe is very precise and sticks to tiny greasy chips without issue. They perform well for heel and toes hooks as well. Honestly couldn’t come up with a complain if I tried.

Great LV Shoe; Small Heel + Doesn’t Smush Toes!
3 November 2022

If you’re like me and have a super narrow foot but find most LV shoes to have a ridiculously small toe box and a baggy heel then these will be awesome! There was a super minimal break in period and they felt nice straight out of the box :) They were a little bit awkward at first because a lot of downturn comes from the heel/back of the shoe and they feel quite different from a lot of climbing shoes because of that, but once I got used to them I loved them!My only complaint is that they are hard to take on and off and have a bit of a strange shape that leads to deadspace in the middle for me.Overall, super comfortable downturned shoe!

Great fit for narrow feet and shallow heel
17 April 2023

I am 6”4’ and have very narrow feet and these shoes are the best ones I can find in my size. Fits the heel like a glove. They are very sensitive in the toe box and do great on technical climbing. The only small complaint I have is the support in the toe box isn’t very stiff, or Im just a heavy dude, and it breaks in super quick however it doesn’t cause me loose much if any on the performance side

Great shoe. Great price. Great customer service.
4 September 2019

My oldest son has only worn Tenayas and swears by them. He currently climbs in the Oasi. Since my youngest has a narrow, low-volume foot, we turned to the Oasi LV for his first aggressive shoe. It fits great, the straps are easy to adjust, and it offers the same Tenaya comfort and quality we'e come to expect. Buying climbing shoes is not my favorite thing to do, but Backcountry Gear was great to work with - especially Warren, who offered me great, personalized customer service - really above and beyond! We will absolutely come back to Backcountry Gear for climbing shoes and general outdoor gear.

Great step up climbing shoe!
15 July 2019

I was ready to take the step into a more aggressive climbing shoe, and did a lot of research to find ones worth the investment. I liked that these are low volume for my more narrow foot! I ordered a size 6 and it was too small and exchanged them for a 6.5 which is the perfect snug fit. The exchange process was super quick and easy as well! Btw My street shoe size is an 8-8.5.I’ve climbed in them 3-4 times and they have done well for me! I feel confident on tiny footholds and my heel is strong in them as well. Also they are really pretty :). The adjustable Velcro is amazing as well to customize your fit even further.

Perfect Fit
5 October 2024

I've been using the Tenaya Oasi LV for a few months, and it’s honestly a game-changer for anyone with narrow feet like mine. I loved the regular Oasi, but there was always a bit too much room, which messed with the precision. The LV version fixes that completely—it hugs my feet perfectly, with no awkward extra space. The shoe still has all the things I loved about the original: incredible control on tiny footholds, a super responsive feel, and that aggressive curve that makes overhangs and bouldering feel smooth

Sensitivity, comfort and confidence
8 August 2019

I've worn the original Oasi and Tarifa, which are both also excellent shoes. The LV Oasi has just a little bit less space than than the standard Oasi (same last). Though climbing shoes are very dependent on what works for your foot, if you are a normal to narrow-footer and are curious about Tenaya, you have to give them a shot. What blows me away most is how the Oasi LV/Oasi/Tarifa are supremely comfortable, even when sized pretty tight. The confidence with toe placement is the best I have had. The toe section is stiff enough that they edge well, yet they are very sensitive with nice flexibility that makes them shine on steep routes and boulders. Most of all, I just forget about the shoes when on a route or a problem. Maybe they will be for you!My only cons:--The heel works fine for heel hooks, but I have used other shoes that I've trusted more when it comes to heel hooking confidence.--Being synthetic, with a comfortable neoprene lining, these things can trap in smell quite a bit. Don't store them in your bag for extended periods of time, allow them to air out and you'll be fineI think Tenaya's suggestion on sizing is pretty close. They suggest 1 full size down from street shoe. I'm usually a 11.5 or 12 street shoe and I have these in both 10.5 and 11 and I could go either way.

Technical shoe for flippers!
23 March 2021

If your feet are narrow and low volume, these shoes will serve you better than any other. My feet are super narrow but about 11.5/12 length, but also quite flat and low volume. You know, like flippers. Tenayas in general fit my foot type better than any other brand. I spent 3 years trying different brands and models and could never find something that was both technical and comfortable. Once I tried on Tenayas about 8 years ago, I haven?t looked back. I didn?t think they could get better until they put this model out. I?m on my third pair and cycle in between the Mundaka and Iati. I?m just slightly smaller than a 12 in street shoes, and I wear a 10.5 in Oasi LV. They typically have a 2 session break in period where they?re a bit snug at first then hug my feet perfectly when broken in. You?ll thank me for this review my freakish, flipper-footed friends!
