I appreciate the tight string pattern. Really takes me back to my 2010 Aero Pro Drive. The only reason I'm not giving it a full 5/5 is because the raquet feel a little too light for me especially when I compare it to the 2019 Aero. Nothing a bit of lead tape can't fix.I'm not huge on the glossy paint job as an end note.

The Babolat Pure Aero Lite is a lightweight version of the popular Babolat Pure Aero tennis racket, designed for players who value maneuverability and control. It is well-suited for players who have moderate to fast swing speeds and who prefer a racket that provides a good balance between power and control.

It is not like the previous aero pro drive. The designers of the racquet made it too soft while hitting the ball and that gives an awkward feel while hitting the ball and the flex is more. In previous versions like pure aero 2017 and 2016 we can turn the ball and feel the power of its impact but in this feeling the power is little less.

I changed to the Pure Aero earlier this year (2016) I was a bit apprehensive at first as this is the head heaviest racquet I've used. As the legs get older I was looking for the ability to hit from the back a bit longer & consistantly before rushing madly to the net :D This is the first Babolat I've used and I love it. Great to serve with. I love the 'plow through' feel when hitting groundies & it is a surprisingly good bat to volley with. A real point & shoot racquet at the net. I use a hybrid stringing pattern, Luxilon Alu Power in the mains & Prince Syn Gut (or Babolat VS Gut) in the crosses. I can see how this bat would be very demanding on a full set of synthetic strings. The power in the frame would just pop synthetic strings quickly. Definitely a power ... MoreI changed to the Pure Aero earlier this year (2016) I was a bit apprehensive at first as this is the head heaviest racquet I've used. Definitely a power racquet that demands a controlled swing from the person driving it. Very lively feel in this frame. I'd recommend this racquet to anyone looking for a good quality racquet to assist in improving their game. Good enough for Rafa, then good enough for me :D
I already own a blade v8 and the clash v1 and I have to say the feel and control and I get out of the Pure Aero is something I have not experienced before. Am able to consistently hit crisp shots with good spin and swing openly without worrying of overshooting the baseline. This is one amazing racquet!
After playing with so many racquets , i finally settled on Pure Aero and i am quite happy with it . This racquet may not suit for every one however if you are good in hitting top spin , you cannot go past this racquet . Bought a good price from Rebel and the customer service was awesome . Also this racquet comes fully strung with original recommended strings which is another bonus !!
Excellent racquet. It plays like the original models from 10 years ago. Great balance, very clean smooth feel on contact. Easy power. I've been coaching with this racquet since it came out years ago.
65 year old advanced club player. "NO arm issues" after 3 hours of play; far better than the previous version which hurt after one hour! Spin friendly from the baseline, solid volleys, strong spin and moderate power for serves. I use RPM Blast at 53 pounds with 17 gauge. The racquet is far more muted (which I prefer) with less vibration. This racquet suits my playstyle as all around player with added spin. I had to add lead tape to give some pop and plowthrough because this racquet is average to light in weight for me. Finally I did not have to change my game to fit the racquet. In fact it compliments my game and let's face it: this looks like a work of art!
I've been playing with the Wilson Juice BLX100 (now called ULTRA) for 12 months. The Juice is a great bat, I'd rate the Aero Pure as a similar racquet in power & control to the Juice but with slightly more balance toward the head giving the 'Pure' more 'plow through' the ball off the ground. At the net the 'Pure' is a point & shoot bat. Plenty of natural power without having to generate extra pop with wrist snap or swing. Probably not the racquet for a beginner or someone who just pushes the ball but for anyone at any level that hits through the ball then the 'Pure' racquet is something that would add a new dimention to their game. I hit the ball fairly flat with an Eastern F/H & B/H grip so I cant comment on the extra spin this bat is supposed to generate but ... MoreI've been playing with the Wilson Juice BLX100 (now called ULTRA) for 12 months. Took time to get serving timing dialed in but that's normal for any racquet change. Lots of serving power without having to increase swing speed. Good target control on serve. Good quality racquet. Great graphics. I have no hesitation recommending this racquet to any player that knows how to hit.
I have used alot of babolat rackets since i started playing, and own once of these and 2 different pure aeros, the rolland garros and the USA edition. This racket is sort of a more advanced version of those two, with a tighter string pattern, and less spin/power with more control. If you are a seasoned player, and are looking for more control, as you can generate your own power and spin, this racket is for you. If you are a beginner to intermediate, I would likely recommend the last gen of pure aero, as they are more forgiving and flexible. I am about a 7 UTR, and I love this racket for everything.
