It's great to buy local Aussie products, and avoid Chinese where possible. I have a number of Aussie Campmor Outdoor canvas tents, a NZ Coleman tent, and a shameful Oztrail tent for a spare, or beach. My best kit tent pegs went to the Oztrail tent setup. The Aussie canvas tent's high tensile anodised pegs went to my marquee bag, and the other three tents were upgraded to 80 x 300mm, and 40 x 255mm Supa Pegs. These pegs are tuff! Seriously, you will break your teeth on them (please do not attempt this). I needed something to penetrate any difficult ground condition, not spin, bend, and let go of the tents in bad weather. With this in mind, your tent will tear before these give way, so make sure you get yourself some good quality 3mm, 6mm, or 8mm (application ... MoreIt's great to buy local Aussie products, and avoid Chinese where possible. With this in mind, your tent will tear before these give way, so make sure you get yourself some good quality 3mm, 6mm, or 8mm (application dependant) shock cord loops on all anchor points, and guy rope tab locations. Only gripe I had was getting the glue from the factory stickers off them. I had to soak them for 24 hours, and gently use stainless steel wool to clean them all up then rinse with hot water, however most wouldn't bother. I sprayed them all with HD Lanotec then let them dry, though this is absolutely not necessary to do either. The 300mm pegs do fit into the Oztrail canvas peg bags as pictured. There are 120 galvanised Supa Pegs in both those bags with plenty of room to spare. Seriously, as an experienced camper, upgrade your tent pegs to these, and don't look back. Will add some weight to your kit, though totally worth it! Don't be a fool by messing with bendy kids play tent pegs ever again! Get real. Get Supa Peg!

Travelled for 3 weeks in drought stricken NSW. Would not have been able to pitch the tent without the supapegs. No bends, able to drive these in hard with a mallet at each camp site. They lock well against wind, do not rotate. Worth the extra weight. I would not use any other pegs now.

A Strong, great, robust product, but there are two things I think important to note (as I was unaware until I went to set-up at my campsite).First, I found the “chiseled” end to be quite blunt, and thus, difficult to hammer into hard ground. And second, these pegs are “too big” (in diameter) to fit through the brass eyelets of the Coleman Northstar 10P Tent (You need to use the fabric loops below the eyelets) and the Coleman Northstar Footprint ground-sheet (for which they can’t be used at all, as it has eyelets only, no fabric loops).

Obviously 100% better than the standard issue toys - whoever designed them has never been camping in Oz! My 255 mm pegs came with the Coleman Instant up 240 Gold tent, would have preferred 300 mm - but hey, they were a freebie. So far only used for a back yard erection in some moderately hard soil and I do have other "real" HD pegs from days gone by.
Good solid peg. However, should have purchased a size smaller. Find 300mm is long for normal weather conditions. Glad to have these in my kit for windy and adverse conditions.
Never thought i'd feel this way about a peg! They never got close to feeling like bending, they go in hard ground very easily. The shape at the head is new to me but is very practical. My girlfriend was slightly concerned by how excited I was to use these but when friends who saw them while I was setting up all asked about them she had to concede - they're great pegs
Look they’re pretty good in most ground types but I get a bit angsty when I’m pegged into sandy dirt after a bit of rain. Pairs well with spring guy ropes.
Good strong pegs, that special angle at the top is clever as you strike the peg dead in line with the shaft - helps to prevent bending.I want some more. :)
Bought 24 supa-pegs to replace the 'baby' ones originally supplied with the tent. Really good value! Highly recommended must-have pegs, just as the video demonstrated. People next to us at the camp site asked to borrow them from us because of the strong wind!
The pegs that came with our tent originally kept on bending. I bought these, and they are about 1000 times better! I bought 15 of the smaller size and that was perfect. If you're looking for stronger pegs, go for these. And the little extra bend at the top of the pegs, mean they stay in the ground. Love em!
