My goldfish love these! Ever since I started feeding them this they’ve been very healthy and active!

I’ve been feeding this to my goldfish for a few years and he’s still kicking (won him at the fair). The only thing I hate is that they get sucked up into the filter and clog the media easily and dyes it. Not really the food’s problem though ahah.

My fancy goldfish love these sinking pellets. They like to eat food off the bottom and these lay at the bottom and don't dissolve for a while so they are easy for them to eat. They do cloud the water if it's not all eaten though.

Goldfish love it. Clean food that doesn’t muddy the water.Highly recommend.
I have what is now a very many years old, and very large, 'rescue' Comet in a 40L. Which was originally sold as a feeder back in the day. Partially Blind from early eye trauma in its sales tank environment. It will only eat what it can forage from the substrate. And this food (along with a few blanched de-hulled peas occasionally) are perfect. The fish loves them both. I pre-soak a couple of pinches of the granules over night in a small 2 Oz. neoprene bottle in the refrigerator, and use a length of 5/8 inch 'rigid thin wall' tubing to distribute the food to exactly where the fish like best to naturally 'forage' at feeding time. This helps to pre-soften (slightly expand) the granules and ensures that the entire volume will sink to where it is needed. With no worries ... MoreI have what is now a very many years old, and very large, 'rescue' Comet in a 40L. Which was originally sold as a feeder back in the day. With no worries about whether 'floating food' gulped down with surface air might possibly affect the swim bladder. And Tetra always has a great balance of nutrients in their products ingredients.
I alternate these flakes with the goldfish crisps. Always eaten up quickly and fish are very healthy. Great food.
Althogh I haven't actually been using this product long enough to know how well the "color" function works, I know that my fish love it. I appreciate the fact that Tetra foods don't cloud the aquarium water, and cut down on the frequency of water changes. I've had the same 3 fish for 4 years, and have not had to do a complete water change and tank cleaning in that time period, using Tetra food; only partial changes are needed. My fish have grown and trhved on this food. I have many times recommended Tetra food to other aquarium hobbyists.
I feed this and other foods to provide variety. Am moving away from floating foods except occasional dried bloodworms. My goldfish love these small sinking bits. I don't have gravel at the bottom of my tank so no problem with food getting lost in the gravel. I just started feeding this particular food so I can't comment on effect on color or growth yet.
It was the same I've been feeding my 18 yr old gold fish that is 9 to 10 inches long. Yes it really is hat old & big. It lets me know it''s feeding time by jumping & bumping it's nose on the lid. It lives in a 30 gal rimless tank. I like the sinking rather than flake because it doesn't foul the water..
This is a great food for goldfish and small koi. The pellets sink slowly and is a quickly consumed by the fish. I sometimes put a bit of flake and the pellet food in the tank at the same time and the goldfish always dash for the pellets first and ignore the flakes until the pellets are gone.
