I purchased these sandals based on the advertisement that they can be worn in the water. They fit well. Very comfortable. The color was lovely. They are great until you get your feet wet. Once I got my feet wet walking around water like shown in the pictures, my feet was sliding around the sandal. It became slippery and hazardous when I had to step up or down on anything. I had to dry my feet in order to get any grip on the sandal to prevent sliding. It was terrible. Wearing them dry, fantastic! Love them. Walking In a rocky stream, walking on a Sandy beach, your feet will slide around causing unsure footing.

I bought these for an upcoming trip to Hawaii but ended up returning them since the toe area was way too loose. I don't think sizing up or down would have worked since the length was perfect. I am always a size 7 in shoes but had to pull the velcro to its tightest spot to make the ankle fit, and since the strap across the toe did not adjust at all, I could fit several fingers in the space with my foot. I think if you have skinnier (not narrow) feet/ankles you should look at some other options. For reference, I am 5'4 and about 115 lbs.

But I also love wearing them out with cute jeans and a tee! Plus, they're the best shoes to slip on and go out to run errands.These were the only shoes I brought on a trip to Puerto Rico, and I wore them on a boat trip, out to dinner, and hiking in the jungle. I took this on a camping trip and I loved wearing these. They give my toes so much space to sprawl out and the straps always keep my feet secure. They are so comfortable that I have walked many miles in them without them hurting but you may get some uncomfortable rubbing. I did take one star off since wet feet and these shoes do not mesh well. You no longer have any grip to the shoe and if you are trying to walk downhill you may just have your feet slip through the shoe. Other than that I really enjoy these for my casual walks and they always make my outfits so much cuter.
This is my second pair of Hurricane Drifts. I (23/F) have hip/lower back/knee issues and bought my first pair in 2019 before a walk-heavy trip. They were the best choice: versatile, easy to clean, comfortable (literally like walking on clouds) and extremely durable. I just put them to rest this May (2022) after many walks, hikes, beach trips and summer camps had worn the sole down significantly (but not completely). I sent them to the Teva recycle program and got myself a new pair. Already wore them twice to float down the Nizao river in San Cristobal, DR. I tell people about them all the time because I just love them THAT much. Don't know what else to say to convince you to buy yourself a pair. You won't regret it. I sure didn't.
I waited until I took these on a weeklong vacation in Hawai'i to write this review.After a lot of research, I bought these specifically for being waterproof, comfortable for walking, and having a secure strap to keep them on my feet. Well, after paddle boarding, swimming, and standing on rocks in the ocean, in addition to walking at least 25 miles on various terrain in these, I can safely say that they check all of the boxes. They didn't soak up water like my flip-flops did, they dried quickly.I wasn't thrilled at first with the look of these because they look wide and are not very flattering if you're trying to make your feet look smaller. But as for function, they hit the mark.

Have worn them out for just a few occasions, including hiking in a low river. They're comfortable, lightweight, easy to clean. However, they don't seem durable, and the sizing is odd. I'm a 7 and initially bought that size. They seemed massive on my feet, and a near-tripping hazard. I got a size 6 which fit better but are a tad too small lengthwise so my toes almost stick out too much. Half sizes would be a good change, I wish I could buy a 6.5. Also, after extended amount of time --2.5 hours-- hiking in the river a strap started to chafe my left foot, which was irritating. I'll continue wearing them until they fall apart but I don't know if I would wear them without socks to walk in water for a long time.
Ladies with wide feet - THESE ARE FOR YOU! I needed some good water shoes, and having not been super impressed with the classic Teva sandals in the past, I decided to give these a try. Holy smokes. Fit my wide feet perfectly (which is rare), comfortable, and so cute! I want to wear these all day. I initially bought them solely for outdoor activities, but these are definitely stylish enough to become an everyday shoe for me. I normally wear 9.5 but I sized up to a 10 and I'm glad I did. The pink color is gorgeous. If you're thinking about it, just do it!
I just bought these online. I was so excited because they looked very versatile. I can wear with a dress while walking around, or I could wear these climbing a mountain. I was so disappointed when they got shipped to me because they were plastic foam material like crocs. From the photos, I thought they were going to be a comfortable leather material. The top strap is not adjustable and fits too loose. Super bummed, will be returning. (Purchased in black)
