I have seen some people complaining that these Mush 2's are not as thick and nice as the originals. Well, I stopped wearing flip flops during my late teens growing up at the Jersey shore, and now that I got these, I am wishing I never stopped. I can't speak to the awesomeness of the original's, but to me, these rock, big-time. Only thing I would suggest is to go a size larger. But that depends on the individual as well I guess.

This pair was for my husband, and he says they are more comfortable than the pricey ones we bought earlier this summer. I have bought 3 pairs for myself over a couple decades. I adore them.I wore these in Disneyland all day and night for 3 days and everyone was complaining about tired feet but me. But that's me--I do well in flip-flops as long as they have some arch support, like these do. These are cushiony and I wear them all day, all summer. They conform to your feet over time and get better and better. They hold up well, and I get them wet.

I buy multiple colors so I can match anything I wear! I once had horrible plantar fasciitis and had trouble walking as it was very painful. The only footwear I could wear with little pain were my TEVAs. After wearing them for a while, the plantar fasciitis went away and never came back. I SWEAR by these things!!

These are my go to 'around the house' & summer casual foot wear. They allow my feet & toes to 'breathe' while the footbed conforms perfectly to my feet. I have been wearing them for ~ 20 yrs. Love 'em!My only caution is that if you are not careful with foot placement on some surfaces, you might catch an edge and cause a stumble, though no more than any similarly styled piece of footwear.
My husband HATES flip flops! After 38 years of trying to coax him, he agreed to try these based on liking his Teva sandals. And guess what? He loves these too! It's the arch support that won him over. Thanks Teva!!Now we can go to the beach without him complaining!

It could be a bit higher, for me.The footbed is comfortable but wears and will leave your foot blackThe edge cut of the sole is square all the way around, so it's possible to catch an edge as you walk.I bought approximately one size larger than my standard shoe size.The measurement increments on the sizing guide are terrible and completely random. How someone came up with those is completely beyond me.The company's customer support staff is essentially untrained and don't know the product at all. Dangerously so.I'm disappointed with the gender assigned color options. It feels limiting and regressive in today's world. Especially for a company that seems to view itself as SO PROGRESSIVE. I love these Flip Flops so much. I will say that I originally bought a Size 13 Mens which is my normal size, and it was to small for me. I ended up getting a size 15 Mens, mainly because the 14 wasn't in stock, but it turned out fine because they fit perfectly.With that being said, they are super comfy and I absolutely love them. Thankfully I bought two pairs (Cavas and Navy), because my dog loved the cavas ones so much. Unfortunately they didn't last that long for him though.
What do you do when your product is both less comfortable and less durable than the original... go back to the best, the Original Flip. The molded EVA midsole with heel cupping, arch cookie for added support and rubber outsole for durability and traction, still used on the Original Universal, is vastly superior to the inferior Mush® topsole cushions and lightweight EVA-foam outsole on the current Mush II. The "II" in Mush II is an automatic tell that the original Mush was a dog and the Mush II isn't much better... go back to the Original!

I regularly walk three miles in them and they are the only sandal I'd take on summer vacation where there's a lot of trekking. They feel great on first wear but only get better as you break them in. The top foam is very cushioned and easily molds to your feet while the bottom layer offers enough support where a rock won't pierce though them after a few years. These also seem to be very good at wicking sweat as the footbed has never been a issue for me on the hottest of days or when they get wet. The strap is made from soft nylon (on most models... First of all, they were tighter. I've worn the same size for years with this flip flop, but these were definitely tighter. They also didn't offer the cushioning as the original ones. Even the bottom of the flip flop looked different and cheap. I figured that it would be a hassle to return so I started to wear them. A few hours after wearing them I noticed that the bottom of my foot was black. Whatever these flip flops are made of turned the bottom of my foot black. That never happened with the original ones.
