Being retired, I travel independently for extended times, often in the tropics of Central America and Southeast Asia. As the weather is often hot and wet, and I enjoy wading through saltwater, I've used another Teva sandal that has an enclosed toe. I've bashed my feet enough with open toe sandals to forgo them. I also have narrow feet, & fitting any type of shoe usually does not work.These fit me perfectly with my insoles, as do the other Teva's. However, these are useable as an actual shoe, and the 3 straps can be adjusted to fit well and snug if need be.Some may find this an odd looking shoe, but I place value on how it works.

Great product
Very substantial shoe. Extremely comfortable and complete adjustable and have a feminine appearance without being flimsy. And the color goes with everything.
My fave sandals in a beautiful new colorway. They are pretty and go with every casual item in my wardrobe from dresses to shorts. Wear with thick wool socks in wet weather, thin ankle socks when I want to be cute, or barefoot at the beach, because these sandals are fully adjustable. My "duck feet" fit wide-cut size 9 shoes, or an 8.5 W. In Dansko clog sandals, I wear an EU 39. For the Tirra, an 8 fits like the proverbial glove. I now own 3 pair of these sandals, but these are the 5th or 6th I've purchased, because after a few years of heavy use, even shoes this well made can wear out.
Had to return these because the hard plastic under the ankle kept jabbing into my ankle. Very uncomfortable. Also it didn't fit around my foot well, which allowed gravel into the shoe.
Not cheap but great design, construction and comfort.
