Very comfortable, lightweight, and durable! Because this is the "lite" version, the sole has more give to it than the regular version. No break-in needed; ready to wear right out of the box. Also, very customizable to your feet thanks to the multiple adjustable straps. Would definitely recommend!

I've had Teva sandals for the last 20 years and they never let me down. Solid construction, you never have to break them in. They are ready to go out of the box. These guys have been great on the beach and on excursions in Mexico as well as a walk at the outlets shopping. Best Shoe ever!

I've worn Teva sandals for decades. I wear them all year. The only times I don't wear them are at work and if its very cold and wet (cold is okay, and wet is okay, but I draw the line at snow!). Two years ago I decided to try the FI Lites after my FI 4 pair finally wore out after six years of wear and abuse. I could immediately tell that they were lighter and thinner, but they're still very comfortable. But, I do prefer the sturdiness that I get from the FI 4. After one year a part of the sole was cracked, and after two years, they are worn through the soles in several places. The soles of the FI Lites are far more worn after two years than the six year old FI 4 pair I bought them to replace. I tend to wear my Tevas anytime I'm not wearing shoes and that pretty much says it all.A couple of things though.The soles and foot beds on the last two pairs have been softer and thinner than I like. They feel less sturdy to me and a bit to flexible. Take them out and try them on the rocks around streams or on a rocky shore and you'll see what I mean.This may be a silly thing that shows my age, (I've been wearing these since the time they were made in Israel), but the strap of the pair I just purchased that goes over the top of your arch closes on the outside of the sandal. Meaning you basically have to sit down to put them on instead of lifting your foot up and to the inside (like your were crossing your leg) to close that strap. I just don't get that.....

The Terra Fi 5 feels more "premium," but its "premium" feeling padding and overall heftier feel gives me ankle/heel issues for days after wearing them. In comparison, this Lite model doesn't feel cheap at all; it just doesn't feel as heavy as the Fi 5, but I've never had foot/ankle issues from wearing the Lite. These are shoes I've mostly worn just for the summer, but are my primary shoes around town or anywhere else I go for those 3 months of the year, and it took >5 years for a pair to start to fall apart on me, and by that point the sole was long since worn down and should've been replaced by that point. Haven't had these for more than a month yet, but I've already taken them through some light hiking and walking through 1/2 mile of creek water with a slippery rocky bed and they just perform, grip, and stay on my feet comfortably. Very happy with these sandals. Teva are officially my favorite brand for lightweight, breathable, yet adventuresome footwear.
I like the fact they fit well and are light weight. I've taken them to Costa Rica and they're very practical except when walking in the rainforest with green vipers and tarantulas. But on canopy walks looking for sloths and in town, where it's hot, they are excellent. Pleased I brought them on a trip to the tropics.
The slot for the strap that goes across the arch of my foot catches on the opening for it and is very hard to pull through. The opening is to small and the Velcro sticks up enough to cause stop the strap from entering the slot. I glued the edge strap of the Velcro down tight and it works better. It's the lining of the fixed opening that interferes with the strap working properly.
As I mentioned in an email to you after they arrived, these sandals are smaller than exact same size I have worn for last 3-4 pairs.Sole footprint is smaller, straps are significantly shorter, especially maint strap that goes over my instep. So far not much impact on comfort or function.

Got the Terra Fi Lite as one of the first sandals Teva said was vegan (used to think all synthetic sandals were vegan; not so; there is the glue). They were 'lite' all around: light soles, light straps. But grippy and comfortable (with Thorlo socks). When the soles wore out after 2+ years and many miles hiking, Teva only had Lite in women's, so I got the regular Terra Fi 4 (now listed as vegan). It was the first Teva to give me blisters, but I did break it in. Besides being a gravel collector, the soles split after 15 months and reduced hiking miles. Very happy the men's Lite has returned.
