It took me a long time to find a pair of adventure sandals that I was satisfied with. These have fit the bill! The black matches most of my casual outfits and the thin straps definitely make the sandals a bit more stylish than the original Terra Fi. The squishy cushioning on the straps made these sandals comfortable right out of the box for my narrow feet! The soles are grippy, which have been nice when I wear these for kayaking and SUPing. Great for walks or short hikes too.

It met all my needs. First extremely comfortable to wear on vacation. I have significant issues with my feet, so this is key when looking for any shoes, sneakers or sandals. They also passed for dress sandals. Went on a cruise & used them for most, if not all activities. These will be great for summer that is not too casual. I own other TEVA sandals that are for my everyday use.

These were bought for a trip to Kona. Their opening adventure was through a rocky lava field to a secluded beach only accessible by foot (or very extreme off roaring vehicles). What was supposed to only be a 4-5 mile hike subsequently turned into a 12 mile hike as we decided to take the "other" way back. My feet and legs felt great from beginning to end, and I attribute it to these sandals. They comfort and function were exceptional.
Just received them today, and first off I'd like to say shipping was exceptional. I ordered on Saturday and they were delivered by Monday morning. Out of the box onto my feet these shoes felt so comfortable and the footbed is so soft! The picture shows the exterior leather to be a little more of an ornate tint in my opinion but in person it is the perfect shade of light brown leather. Sizing is accurate and gives my foot more room than I expected width wise. Just took these shoes on a walk with my dog and they shaped up to the hype! Extremely comfortable, and the heel of the sandal (which I have trouble with finding on other shoes) absorbs very well with an extra cushion. Overall, 10/10, I have nothing to complain about. I bought the first pair 10 years ago and so far I they are almost identical (with a few nice updates such as extra padding). I have very small and narrow feet. The straps adjust accordingly and the suede foot bed also helps me to feel secure. I wear these to do just about everything including trail running. Thank you Teva for keeping it real!
These are really nice shoes. They look like they have never been worn. They do run a tad big. I usually take a womens size 8M but these would have worked in a 7 1/2M. It is not a deal breaker, though as you can adjust the heel strap, ankle strap, and ball of the foot straps. There is no breaking in. I wore them all day and they felt great. They could use a little more instep padding. All in all they are great. This is a fast shipper and appears the merchandise sold is of high quality. Thank you!
I haven't really gotten them broken in yet - but I miss my old Teva 'friends'. These are just not the same. Had to part with my old ones because there was absolutely no tread left on them & they were very slippery on any surface. These just don't fit right. I returned one - too big and bought a size lower, but now when I wear them, my toes (on the right ft) come over the end.The adjustable heel strap on the right foot just pushes my foot to the end no matter where i put it. Oh well, they are Tevas and I'll eventually get them broken in.
I bought these because I needed a hiking sandal for my recent hiking ventures. I can't wear closed shoes for a while so I needed an open toe shoe that I could still hike in. We did two hiking trips to Yosemite and Glacier national parks, so we hiked daily while there. We were averaging about 10 miles a day. Elevation gain varied from 400 feet to 3500 feet. These sandals did well hiking on level ground, however when it came to steep terrain, I felt like the grip wasn't there, I had a few times where I would be slipping which made it difficult to get traction. The sole of the sandal has some firmness but I think it didn't have enough when trekking through rocks to give the foot support and not feel the rocks under the feet. I like the little padding on the straps of the sandal so the plastic and the straps don't rub against your feet causing discomfort. However, if your feet sweat you will have the issue of getting blisters, because I would wear my sandals with socks I would be ok but when I would take the sock off and hike in them and with the heat my feet would sweat and where the sandal sat on those spots that pressed against my feet it would rub my skin raw causing blisters. So I will not be wearing them in the summer for hiking without socks and only use them for easy leveled and short hikes. I used them for biking too (10-20 miles) and they did ok but had to wear socks so I had more cushion on those pressure points and also so I didn't get blisters. I would not consider this a good hiking sandal for long and strenuous hikes, this is more for the causal walks out and maybe easy short hikes. I didn't try them in water so I don't know how they would perform in that way, So I would recommend them for daily use or easy hikes but for anything rugged and hard core, I would not recommend them. I'll give them this, they are cute sandals and they clean up easy, but only good for limited activities.
These sandals are simply okay--not terrible, not great. It's been difficult to adjust them so that the toe strap anchors don't irritate; I have yet to wear them an entire day. Disappointing, since I wore my previous pair (different style which is no longer available) for years, quite comfortably.
