These sandals couldn't be more comfortable considering the multiple medical issues of my feet. The additional arch support in the Verra style is perfect; the Shoc Pad heel cushions absorb the impact of each step; and the front straps don't cramp or pinch my toes. Shortly after purchasing my first pair of the Verra style in black, I bought a pair of the blue ones. When initially trying them on, I thought the new blue ones fit exactly the same as the black ones I have been wearing for a couple of weeks, but because of someone's 1-star review indicating that the blue/green (Arona Sagebrush) color was a full ½ size smaller than the black ones, I tried the blue ones on again, and indeed they are the same exact fit. To be 100% sure, however, I conducted a couple of experiments. First, I took the left-foot shoe of my black pair and put it side-by-side on a level surface with the left shoe of the blue pair, placing the left black shoe to the right of the blue left shoe, and sure enough the black one visually appeared longer. Then I reversed the two left shoes, placing the left black shoe to the left of the blue one, and then the blue shoe looked longer. No explanation for this phenomenon, but I could understand what that reviewer was referring to. Since this seemed inconclusive after doing a second comparison using the black and blue right-foot shoes, I did one last test by using a lined legal pad, marking a couple of spots on the paper to be sure that the shoes would be placed exactly the same, and also put a metal ruler on a straight line near the bottom of the pad to ensure they were both measured from the exact same place, then drew a pencil outline of the black shoe and then the blue shoe. The black shoe and the blue shoe measured exactly the same! They feel so awesome, even when worn all day long. The blue color is exactly as pictured online. They are so pretty, but more importantly, so comfortable!

I own 3 pairs of Zirras, 2 pairs of Terras and this is my first Verra. The older styles perform excellently in the rivers which is where they are worn for most of the summer months in Montana. This Verra however is the only pair I cannot wear. Most, if not all 1, 2 and 3 star reviews address the ankle strap placement and length. I have narrow feet but it makes no difference as the ankle strap sits so straight up and down instead of slanting more forward that all of us have the ankle strap sitting way up high on the foot; which makes for a shorter strap. I can close them easily enough but the high sitting strap is just not comfortable. I wanted this style for the fewer straps but I will have to go back to old styles.

This sandal is VERY comfortable and perfect for daily use AND slightly dressy. The narrow straps (9/16” for ball-of-foot and 3/4” for ankle) are just great and less obtrusive than most Tevas’ webbing. The heel strap is nice and soft. The foot pad is supportive with cushioning. The sole differentiates the ball-of-foot from the heel - so more grip and control when active. Yes, its true the front velcro seems sized for a much wider foot than mine. But I cut it down. This sandal answers 95% of everything I have ever wanted in an all-purpose active sandal. BTW I wear a narrow 8-8.5 shoe - bought this in size 8. Perfect. Will be buying another pair.

I have never owned a pair of Teva brand anything because I honestly didn't think they had cute/fashionable shoes. The only ones I have ever seen were pretty rugged/outdoorsy looking so I've never given them another thought. But I fell in love with this cute pair my friend was recently wearing at a pool party and was so surprised to find out they were Tevas. I had a vacation coming up that I knew would require a lot of walking and I wanted a cute, comfortable sandal with good support so I ordered a pair. I wore them EVERY day and they were PERFECT! They didn't even need breaking in or anything. I am so glad I got them and will definitely be ordering some other styles now, too!
What I love about these sandals is how the skinny straps are cuter and less "rugged" looking than most similar options. I also love the comfortable footbed and how great these lightweight sandals are for doing a lot of walking. There is just one issue that I wish would have been addressed in the design, which is that the straps don't cover enough of the bottom side of the velcro when attached. I don't have wide feet, but even when I attach the velcro tighter than I'd prefer, there's still a big swath of exposed velcro, and it sticks to everything. Sitting briefly on a carpet, I stood up to find bits of carpet fuzz all over the straps. The other day I carried them to put them away, and even with the straps attached, I had to unstick the sandals from my shirt, which ... MoreWhat I love about these sandals is how the skinny straps are cuter and less "rugged" looking than most similar options. The other day I carried them to put them away, and even with the straps attached, I had to unstick the sandals from my shirt, which left some jagged threads in the knit of my favorite top. It's a minor thing, and I can live with it, but this could have easily been fixed with a slight design change. Also, be aware that you might need a smaller size than expected. I usually wear an 8, but the size 8 was about 3/4 inch too long past my toes. I returned them and ordered a 7 because there are no half-sizes. The 7 is the correct size footbed for me, but I am almost always an 8 in everything else.
I've had these shoes for 6 years so this is a seasoned review.PROS - comfort - started off super cushy. Loved that I had a sturdy sandal to go hiking with or go in water and not worry they would slip off.CONS - After so many years the cush isn't so cushy, its aged and is kinda hard now. In the beginning I had to break in the shoe and my foot skin needed to toughen up. The suede little flaps under the straps are meant to protect your foot, but they actually just get pushed out of place during the walking/hiking leaving your foot exposed to the strap which can be a little rough & then painful on the sore red skin it's created. Once I wore these enough the skin on the top of my foot toughened and got used to it.SIZE - I'm a 7.5, got the 7s as recommended, they fit ... MoreI've had these shoes for 6 years so this is a seasoned review.PROS - comfort - started off super cushy. I would always have "foot sludge" on the bottom of my foot & shoe that I'd need to clean off after every wear, it also got stinky, and I don't even have smelly feet.Overall would give a 3.5 start rating. Fills a need but could be better.
Love these shoes. They are so comfortable, I've backpacked in them, walked in rivers, used them as my travel sandal, walked to the grocery store, etc. They are versatile although on the sportier end. If there is one sandal to adventure travel with it'd be this one. This is my second pair, the first one I got about 6 years ago. They were still comfortable but starting to pack in slightly, looking a bit old, and I really just liked the new colors for an upcoming trip so I decided to swap them out. They did change the sizing a bit, I noticed that it was a bit shorter in the toe, but I think that's great because it doesn't catch as much dirt like they used to. I have a wide foot and got a size 8. I'm usually a 7.5 but the new 8 fits perfectly.
Okay. So this is my first pair and I absolutely love them. These have the most amazing insole that is sort of squishy and oh so comfortable. I bought this model because it's the most feminine. I did have to go with a 6&1/2 instead of a 7 which is my tennis shoe size but 6&1/2 is my sandal and heel size. I am going to be using them for a water park trip and I just really think they are sturdy and will be comfortable to walk in all day. I ordered my fiancé a pair and I hope his have the same cushion. I don't know why it's not a part of the description or I missed it. I wish you could buy these as a removable insole so I could have them every single pair of shoes I own. You will not be disappointed with this shoe.
I had almost worn out my pair of these, amd was so delighted to find them still available that I bought 2 pairs, in different colours.Fabulous for walking, they have good arch support, non rubbing soft and adjustable straps and best of all, the Criss cross pattern of the straps means they don’t irritate my bunion (a problem with most sandals).I put the olive green pair on and walked my dogs for an hour. No rubbing, no chafing, not a single issue — simply wonderfully comfortable, nonslip and supportive for anything I want to do with them, whether walking on a beach waterline, through creeks, up and down dusty or sandy slopes and anywhere on city streets. They have scarcely been off my feet since they arrived, and the old pair /very very well worn) retired to the bin.
I was very hesitant to spend the money on these, I figured they would wear out quickly and not be very durable (I go through shoes and boots insanely quick), but boy am I glad I made that purchase! I have been absolutely blown away by these for the past 3 years. Yes, I've been somehow wearing the same pair for 3 years and they're only just now starting to get a bit slick on the bottom from wearing the tread down. They are more comfortable than any shoe or hiking boot I've ever had, I wear them any time I can as long as it's not too cold out. I had been planning to buy Chacos because, I don't know, that seemed like the thing to do, I thought Chacos looked cool. But these Tevas are WAY more comfortable and usable. Chacos are so stiff and clunky I'd never be able to ... MoreI was very hesitant to spend the money on these, I figured they would wear out quickly and not be very durable (I go through shoes and boots insanely quick), but boy am I glad I made that purchase! I'll absolutely get another pair once these need replacing, I wouldn't dream of trying anything else. I think they run true to size, or even are a bit big (at least the version of them 3 years ago).
