I was so loyal to my first pair of tevas, but I had to retire them because I had worn the bottoms down. They never gave me any problems, were so comfortable, and great for hiking. Straps don't overflow if you need a tighter fit since my feet are narrow too. But can't ignore the lack of comfort on straps and the horrible blisters I got.

I walked around Austin City Limits music festival in these shoes for 3 days. I have flat wide feet. I'm also plus size so being on my feet for hours can be an issue. I normally wear an 8.5 in shoes but bought these in a size 8. The only time I feet hurt was when I made the straps too tight. There are grooves for you feet to find the most comfort position. Adjustable straps across the toes, ankles, and back of the ankles.

They have been EVERYWHERE with me, from the beaches & lava flows of Hawaii, the lakes & forests of the Adirondacks, mountain trails in the Alps, and to the middle of the Sahara desert. When they finally began to fall apart about a month ago, I wasn't sure I could ever replace them, as it's been so long that I've had them, and I can't remember the original model name. But this Terra FI is very similar to the design that I had loved. I just got them in the mail today. It's a little too cold here now to go around in sandals, so I can't yet say how they are on a hike. But they fit just like the old pair, and perhaps a bit ... I love them for canoeing and camping, being that they are water friendly. When they finally began to fall apart about a month ago, I wasn't sure I could ever replace them, as it's been so long that I've had them, and I can't remember the original model name. But this Terra FI is very similar to the design that I had loved. I just got them in the mail today. It's a little too cold here now to go around in sandals, so I can't yet say how they are on a hike. But they fit just like the old pair, and perhaps a bit better, as the strap around the back of the ankle is adjustable as well as the one across the front (I kinda had to squirm into the old pair due to my high arches). They are a touch wider & rounder, which is total fine for me, as I like a more foot-shaped shoe. The tread on the bottom is deep. I really love how Teva combines the sole of a hiking shoe, with the foot freedom of a sandal. I am a 5.5-6, and the size 5 fit me perfectly here, due to the natural shape of this shoe. I hope this pair lasts me a long as their predecessor had. I'm looking forward to the warmer weather coming back around!

So comfortable, good grippy soles, adaptable to many shoe widths as all straps are adjustable. Great for wide feet. True to size in length. They go with everything so also good if spending a day or two in the city on the way to hiking adventures too! I bought online and they came super quickly to my regional Australian location too. Got these for an upcoming walking vacation to Rome. I spent time sorting through the different types of Tevas to get something that I could walk for days in, and chose these because they looked the most comfortable and with the most arch support (I have high arches).These sandals were comfortable out of the box, lightweight, and they broke in with minimal blisters, although they did rub at the place where the sandal goes into the sole by the heel.But the big bummer was that the arch isn't high enough to keep my feet comfy after miles of walking. The soles do have great shock absorber quality, so that's good, but my experience so far has been it's not as comfy as a sneaker. I have older Teva 6465 which have the same style straps and a similar footbed and the padding under every strap. But the tread is wearing down making them slippery. I ordered these as they have the same three features I want: traditional straps, contoured footbed, and padding under every strap. The problem is, the footbed curves up behind the heel. When hiking or on the beach, debris kicks up into your shoe here and there. This lip traps the debris under your foot. Normally I can just lift my leg forward and tap my heel and anything falls out. However this heel won't allow anything to fall out. I literally have to stop continuously and remove the shoe. That is unacceptable so I had to send them back. However, comparing my pair of teva sandals to the hurricane sandals available online, the new version of the hurricane sandals seemed to have less tread, there wasn't the same level of padding around the webbing which makes my original tevas so comfortable. I had also tried the Tirra sandals with the 3 straps, but the tread/grip was not as good as my first pair and the tread separated from the footbed after 2.5 summers of use. I then tried Chaco thinking I'd try a different brand of sandal to see if they were more durable, but even though I ordered based on their sizing, the footbed was not wide enough. I'm not sure if they run narrow or not, but my foot is more comfortable in a Teva sandal.This time I talked to several customer representatives and I opted for these terra fi 5 universal sandals. I couldn't be happier! Right out of the box these were comfortable. The tread depth reminds me of my original Teva sandals. They are super easy to adjust to your foot with the velcro straps, and I basically haven't taken them off since they arrived on my doorstep. The only complaint I might have is that they are slightly heavy. However, they're not uncomfortable and I don't really notice it once I'm walking, hiking, etc. I would highly recommend these sandals!
I couldn't be happier with the Terra Fi! I bought it last minute for a trip - it was a great all-purpose shoe, comfy on the plane, walking on both sandy and rocky beaches, gripping slippery surfaces, and light hiking. The adjustable straps are great for moving from looser (for lounging and easy walking) to tighter (for hiking or slippery surfaces). Dries very fast after getting wet, especially if you un-fasten the velcro straps for better ventilation (when not wearing). These shoes are also super cute and surprisingly flattering thanks to the angles of the straps and the moderate boost in height. I bought the tan color which is perfect for matching everything. These were pricy but I have no regrets on the purchase. Would absolutely get another pair.
