When I returned the too small pair, I was told to order a new replacement. This required me to first pay, then get money back a week later. Some people would not be able to afford this. The money back should be first, before buying the new pair.

Beware Teva customer service is terrible

I wrote a review when I first purchased these. I lstill like these Tirra sandals and am into my 3rd season in but I notice that a thin layer of fabric has come off the sole making the sandals a little uncomfortable in the ball area of the foot. I contacted Teva customer service who were not interested as I had not purrchased them directly from their website. I receved a standard response and they were not even interested in my comments for their own product development. It is my 3rd pair of Tevas and Ive purchased 3 more for family in the past.

First time I have tried this shoe.

I ordered this shoe to be worn for dressier times, rather than an everyday sandal. I neglected trying the sandals on when I first received them. It has been several years since I bought any shoes and was out of practice. When the dressier time came to wear them, I discovered that they were too small and narrow. The ankle strap velcro is just barely long enough to catch. Because I waited too long to try them to return them, I am just making do with them until I can save up to buy a larger size. If I were to recommend them to another person, I would suggest they order a half or full size larger.

I have bought the Tierra Leather sandal numerous times

I have bought this sandal in rust, black, and beige since TEVA first offered it. I'm 72y.o. and still ordering it in the rust color - fairly neutral color. I wish TEVA would offer it again in beige leather. The sandal is supportive and I wear it almost every summer day!

I love these sandals.

These sandals are the perfect blend of style and practicality. The footbase is made to get wet and the straps are stylish. I can wear them with shorts, capris, or a casual dress. And if I need to walk in the dewy grass or after the rain, I'm not concerned with soaking the footbed. The ankle strap sits a little high so that it hits right where my foot and leg connect. I thought it was going to rub, but it hasn't been a problem. I just make sure the strap is adjusted for comfort. I would buy another pair.

Lasted less than a year

They fit like a dream. I have bunions on both feet and they don't make them act up at all. I'm size 8.5, my feet are 10 1/4" long, the shoe itself is about 10 3/4" long and it is a perfect fit, just enough space.. The velcro started wearing out very quickly, I wore them fishing and to lakes to the mountains and gardening everyday, so in and out of water quite a bit, but I talked to a customer service representative before buying and they said they would be fine in water, but they weren't. The color also faded A LOT. They also smell very badly, I'm ordering the regular Tirra next to try it out because the fit is just so amazing for my at times painful bunions, so I hope the next pair lasts longer. So narrow

Why don't you make wides? Seriously? These are so narrow and if you did have narrow feet, with the velcro you could just tighten them. I'm native American so is my mom and grandma and out entire lives we have struggled because we have flat wide feet. I normally wear an 8 WIDE or 8.5 WIDE but nothing comes in wide I usually size up to a 9, but in this case the 9 was almost almost inch too long. And still not wide enough. I ordered an 8, the length is perfect but the velcro barely is sticking because my feet are so wide, only about half an inch of the sticky part will reach the velcro. On the ankle and the bridge of my foot. You can see in the photo how much extra velcro there is, because it barely reaches. I've bought 20 pairs of sandals this summer because I'm tired of flipflops giving me calluses, PLEASE JUST MAKE WIDES. I can't say then run large or small because they're extremely narrow but very large in the length. Time will tell if the velcro holds with such a short amount of it being on there and I'm sure tons of stuff will get stuck in the extra velcro thats exposed. How hard is it to just make the straps longer at the very least...

Teva Tirra Leather Women's Sandal

This is the second pair of Teva sandals i have bought. High arch fit and fully adjustable for narrow or wide fitting. Comfortable for all day hiking. Compared to uk size i think they come up a little on the smaller side. I am UK 3 ,but the Teva 4 fits perfect. Happy with this choice .

The only sandal I wear

I started with Teva Tirra's several years ago. I hiked through Belize, India, Colorado (a lot). I walked through rivers, swam in multiple oceans, scaled rocky mountains, cliff dived, and hiked 25 + miles through the Grand Canyon all in these sandals and only these sandals. I wear them everyday at work in a warehouse. After they wore out after 3 years I bought Chacos, Merells, and Keens and soon after returned all of them. None were all as comfortable, light-weight, adjustable, attractive, durable, AND versatile.These sandals do everything I've ever wanted them to while remaining the most comfortable shoe (not just sandal) I own. I will never stray again Tirras. I'm sorry I doubted you.
