Thank You Farmer - Sun Project Water Sun Cream - 50ml

I really like this 50 SPF sunscreen. I live in south Texas which is very hot, humid and sunny, so I need a higher SPF for several months out of the year. This sunscreen is a bit more liquid-like than the average sunscreen but it spreads nicely, I dont have any issues with the consistency. For me, a somewhat olive-skinned 50+ year old, it does not make me oily or break out. Nor is it sticky, which I do not like in sunscreens that do. This is a fairly small tube at 1.75 oz/ 50ml, but I guess that makes it easy to carry in your purse or to travel with. Today I used it, and went walking in the morning humidity. This is a great sunscreen for my very dry, sensitive skin that gets dehydrated and rough very easily. So many sunscreens feel thick and heavy and are irritating on my skin. I wanted one with a high SPF/PA rating as I am a blue-eyed blonde that sunburns very easily. I have had several severe burns over the years and I am trying to do the best I can to take better care of my skin, now. This white cream is not thin or watery but it is light-weight and it goes on easily and is no problem to spread over the surface of my skin. It is absorbed almost immediately, and I dont even know it is there. Except that I dont get sunburned, of course. There is no greasy feeling and no white caste. The tube has a tiny port under the wide, easy to open cap and I can dispense just the amount I need with no waste. This is rather pricey, so I only use it on my face, neck and upper chest and not all over. I do squeeze out a little more than I need, just so I can put some on my hands. I would like to apply it everywhere I need protection from the sun, but I would finish the bottle in less than a week if I did so and I cant afford that. I apply this in the morning as the final step of my skin care routine, and try to remember to reapply later in the day and I find it very effective. It works well with my other skin care products and doesnt dry my skin. I dont wear make-up very often so I cant comment on any pilling or streaking that might occur. I will switch to something water resistant if going to the beach. The current price of 24.00 seems reasonable to me, and since I dont need to use much, so the small tube 1.75 ounce will last me about a month or so. The sunscreen h

One of my favorite skincare brands and this has not disappointed! Im very pale with freckles and also have a health condition that makes me sensitive to the sun, so Im always lathering-up with stuff. I like this for having on even at home since I live in an apartment and take my dog outside during the day. I really like that this hasnt been causing a stinging feeling on my face like another brand that I have. I have combination, acne-prone skin that has sensitive areas and its been agreeing with my skin. I like that it has multiple benefits. Adding some moisture, helping to keep my skin clear and protecting it. Everyone could use the sun protection and its supposed to work well for all skin types, so I feel its worth the shot! For the person who doesn’t like sunscreen

I honestly don’t like having to wear sunscreen because of the white cast, bad smell, and stickiness. Well, this sunscreen was anything but that. When I tried this, I noticed that it was light and that it absorbed and blended well into my skin. There’s no white cast and no stickiness. There is a slight floral fragrance to it but it’s not bad and I like it.One thing I did notice is some make-up pilling. However, I noticed that would happen when I didn’t let the sunscreen fully absorb into my skin when I’m in a rush. So, my suggestion would be to give your skin about 5-10 minutes before putting on the rest of your makeup.Also, sometimes I did notice a few breakouts here and there by the end of the day. My New Go-To Sunscreen!

This is the third Korean sunscreen I've tried, and it is the best!!! (For reference, I previously tried both Missha's Safe Sun Block and Mobitherapy's UV Sun Shield). Feels like I've been looking for the best sunscreen for a while, and I'm so glad to have found this from Thank You Farmer!Pros: I have sensitive combination skin, and even from day one I did not have any reactions or breakouts while using this product (whereas it took my skin a full two weeks of breakouts to adjust to the Mobitherapy sunscreen). It is hydrating without leaving an oily or greasy finish - absorbs beautifully into the skin and really makes putting on sunscreen an enjoyable experience! (The Missha product I tried had a very high concentration of alcohol and if I used it for 2-3 days, or reapplied it, my skin would get so uncomfortably dry).Also, a HUGE pro: this sunscreen is one of the products that has been independently lab-tested and found that it's SPF is indeed at least 50! If you are familiar with Korean sunscreen's SPF debacle from earlier this year (if not - google Purito) then you know how important this is!Cons: It does have fragrance but either I adjusted to it quickly or it dissipates within 15-20 minutes. I'm not sure. I have sensitive skin but the fragrance did not cause an adverse reaction for me - that may not be the case for everyone, However, in all my online searches I haven't seen a Korean product without fragrance so maybe this isn't a con. Again, not a heavy scent in my opinion. The bigger con is the price point! This is the most expensive of the 3 sunscreens I have tried, and the smallest in quantity. Guess I'll have to get used to shelling out the $$ since I love every other aspect about it!Well that was long! thanks to anyone who stuck around this far LOL. They have even stolen the Number 1 spot for best facial SPF ever from my beloved COSrx Aloe sunscreen! If you haven't tried this or the essence yet, YOU MUST. It has everything you want and need in a facial SPF. High protection from both UVB and UVA rays. Really moisturising on my dry skin but with zero greasiness. No white cast whatsoever and doesn't sting my eyes at all - and I apply it under my eyes and on my lids! It just leaves my skin with a beautiful smooth glow, I absolutely love it. Star rating if UK) The 2 TF products I've mentioned are rated PA+++ which means: "High UVA Protection". Only PA++++ is better which is: "Extremely High UVA Protection". If you didn't know, these are the stats that matter the most if you are primarily wearing sunscreen to protect against UVA as opposed to burning (UVB). Some sunscreens can be SPF50 but have a UVA star rating of 2 which only provides moderate protection from UVA, blocking just 40-60% of UVA rays as opposed to a 5 star rated sunscreen which blocks 90-100% of UVA rays!! ALWAYS read your product packaging everyone and let's keep our skin looking beautiful! :)

NOT THE BEST OR THE WORST

Not a bad sunscreen. Points to note:1. Has a texture like a facial lotion, glides on easily and absorbs quickly.2. Initial white cast, fades quickly.3. Leaves you oily. Almost every other sunscreen I have used leaves me a bit dry, so I go over it with another moisturizer. This one left me surprisingly shiny, like I had put oil directly on my face. I decided to go over it with some tinted moisturizer today, and then follow up with a light dust of powder, which helped the oiliness a lot. The makeup lasted all day, minimal oiliness throughout the day and no pilling. I do intend to finish the bottle and while it's not a bad sunscreen, the oiliness put me off and I will keep looking for a better one for my needs.

Works great

Texture: feels lightweight and hydrating BUT it does leave your face a -little- bit greasy. The claim that its not greasy at all is false, especially of you compare to products that arent greasy in the slightest (like biore watery essence). The longevity and protection is really good though! Went on holiday, used a cheapo sunscreen for my body and this for my face. Simply put: by the end of my holiday my body was 10 shades darker while my face remained the same colour it was before! I also used an spf powder to set the face sunscreen cuz im sensitive to greasiness so that probably helped.. but the fact it held up through hours of of swimming and sweating in the sun is great imo, especially since i have oily skin!

not for me

I was excited to try this cheaper alternative to other sunscreens i’ve tried, but it makes my face look INSANELY greasy. i’ve never had my skin look this greasy from a sunscreen before. There is also a slight perfumed fragrance to it that I didn’t like much either, but honestly it wasn’t too bad, smell wise! What i disliked the most was the pilling occurring under my makeup. The first time I tried it, I applied foundation directly after applying the sunscreen and pilling occurred so I decided to try another day but waiting about 30 minutes between applying sunscreen and applying a concealer, but even doing that, there was pilling. I cant wear it under makeup without pilling but also cant wear it alone without looking super greasy.
