Toner Thayers 2% AHA is a good choice for acne skin prone. It has ingredients for acne. That's why I bought it for$ 9 355ml. I've been using it for 3 months, twice a day. So I have enough experience to tell that the first time you use it, you will feel itchy or sting depending on the skin. That feeling will be gone in a few minutes, not a big problem. About moisturizing, it is hydrated really well though it's just a toner. 👍 About exfoliating, I don't see much improvement about this. So in my opinion, this toner is still good for acne skin, I don't have more acne when I use it, well hydrated. But if you expect much more improvement or impress you, you should consider another one. AHA Toner

I have thinking about adding AHA into my skincare, but just feel totally overwhelmed by the options. I love Thayers, and felt comfortable trying something from a trusted brand.I have really loved this toner! I have been using it day and night, applying it with a cotton round. It gently tingles and feels refreshing. I have noticed my skin does feel softer and smoother. I think it has helped minimize my pores somewhat and I'm excited to see more results with continued use! I also love their transparent labeling of ingredients and what percentage they consider natural.

Bad reaction to this

I fully understand that not everyone will have a bad experience with this product. I hoped it would work for me but I had some type of reaction to it. I used it two days in a row. It burned for a bit after using it each time. The next day my skin became very irritated, dry, and red. It felt burned and I had red, rough patches that showed up. It felt like a chemical burn. My eyelids also swelled. My swollen eyelids lasted for a couple of days. The red patches and skin irritation lasted over a week. My skin is finally recovering but it is still super dry feeling after the patches disappeared. This product just didn't do nice things to my skin.

Clean face!

I’ve been using this for a few days now to really make sure I get a good opinion on it. I like how easy it is to use the bottle first off. I like that it doesn’t have a hard time pouring out but that it also doesn’t like pour out and soak everything. I have been using Thayers brand for a little while now and love it but this aha toner was new to me. I have a lot of pores on my nose and this made them practically disappear. My face felt clean and tight after using. No smell, no weird feelings after use. I also want to mention I have sensitive skin and had NO reaction to it! I will be buying more whenever I get that chance. I can’t wait to see with continued use how good this does for my skin since I have such dry skin! Love it!

Cleans what the cleansers and scrubs miss!

I'm a BIG fan of another line of skincare products (the one that's been around aince 1851) but I will stay loyal to Thayers. Even though I've gotten some flack because apparently its "not as good" as the more expensive toners i could choose from, I love that this product removes dirt even after ive washed my face. And this is true both at the end of the day, when extra build-up is justifiable, and in the morning, when I've just woken up from sleeping on a clean pillowcase! I also love that i can use this toner twice a day and have zero irritation. And that it lasts forever.

Delicate and effective

I received this toner in exchange for my review. I was quite excited to try a product like this from a trusted brand like Thayers! I love a good toner and the older I get the more I realize that my skin needs a bit extra. The 2%AHA is exactly that extra boost I need! The gentle exfoliating effect is divine. My skin feels smoother every time I use it. I have had no issues with sensitivity as I do with some other products. I typically use every night to every other night and have no negative effects, simply smoothed, glowing skin!

I absolutely LOVE this product!!

First of all~ I am a huge fan of Thayers products, they are a great company that has stood the test of time so I am always happy to try anything they make! The ingredients are natural and effective. I don’t have to worry about what I’m using on my skin with any of their products. But this %2 AHA Toner is a step above, I am so impressed with this! I literally felt a difference right away! My serum and lotion absorbed better and within a couple days I could see a difference in the texture and feel of my skin…and even received compliments about my skin looking different!! The smell is amazing too! It is fresh and clean, with a hint of orange peel. I use it in the morning and night, with no drying or irritation. This is definitely part of my skin care regimen from now on!

Light Refreshing Cleanser

I actively seek out products with AHA at the recommendation of my esthetician. I have used this product every other day as part of my skincare routine. I’ve previously used other witch hazel toners, but not from this brand. This toner, while billed as unscented, has a very nice citrus aroma. I love how clean and fresh my skin feels after using it. I also think it brightens my skin without an unpleasant drying effect that I’ve found with other products. I would recommend it for anyone who likes the cleansing effect of toner looking to add AHA to their skincare regimen.

Loving it!

Toner is one of those things that is really hit or miss with me. It either burns but works, or doesn’t burn but also doesn’t work. I’ve used Thayer's before and wasn’t a huge fan of the original scents. The rose smell was too grandma-like and the cucumber made me hungry. This toner surprisingly me with a light, citrus smell that I immediately fell in love with even before putting it in my skin. Within a week I could feel a change in my skin. I usually have these dry patches on my checks, but this gently exfoliated those patches away without me even noticing. It is crazy to find a toner that my skin actually responds to and doesn’t burn the living life out of it. I will continue to purchase this toner as long as they make it!
