This has been my 2nd order for my husband and I got no complaints whatsoever as the product was subtle in smell(1derful smell!), you don’t use a lot hence it lasts for a year or so, no allergies coming from using it, price is just right, fast delivery, texture very smooth, smooth as my husband’s butt! Extremely & highly recommended!! Awesome sauce!! 5-star!

I really got into my shaving about 5 years ago. I walked into the Art of Shaving store which was located in Annapolis Mall here in Maryland. The young man who helped me was very informative and I walked out with a started kit, and a great deal of information on how to get the most out of my shaving. Using the Sandalwood Cream and also the balm has turned my morning shave from a chore to something that I honestly look forward to. I get a get deal of pleasure from the quality of the shave, and the way my face feels afterwards. I never thought that shaving would or could become such an enjoyable experience.

I had not used scented Art of Shaving products for some time, I did in the past. Recently I purchased scented again. I chose the Sandalwood scent. The scent is overpowering and overwhelming. I don't recall it being so overpowering. I recall it being subtle. Can someone from the Art of Shaving address if there was any ingredient change or change in the mix? It is so overwhelming that I have had to throw my Sandalwood shaving packages away because the whole bathroom reeks of Sandalwood and it doesn't feel like natural Sandalwood. I really wonder if you all changed something? I have thrown it away and I am getting unscented. But the scented options used to be quite subtle and masculine. Now they are just an overpowering stench. Maybe I got a bad batch?
Using this shaving cream was like putting paste on my face. My razor was immediately clogged, and no amount of rinsing would unclog it -- so I had to use toilet paper to clear it between swipes (and even that was only moderately successful). I used this shaving cream once, and despite how expensive it is, I just threw it out. I haven't the foggiest why this has any positive reviews.
I have been using the tub cream for 10 years and it’s simply my go to cream. I find that it works best with a good shaving brush as it’s too thick to go straight onto your face. Get your brush nice and warm under running water and just add a little cream and lather it on your face. Do not use your fingers to spread the cream on your face as it too thick. Leave it for 15 seconds and shave with a cold razor (do not heat your razor). I get a super close shave and no rash.
I've been using Art of Shaving products since 2000 - and I've bought them for my three boys, three nephews, etc. The pre-shave oil is a wonderful start to the shaving routine, and has generated an immeasurably positive response for my poor old face. The Bourbon has become my favourite for the fall and winter months. It had a clean, masculine scent that is not overpowering. I wanted to try something new, and the combination of the pre-shave oil, shaving soap, and after shave conditioner is just right.ONE request: Can you please, please make this scented family available in travel sizes... I fly frequently for work, and I'd like to keep the same fragrance going.
I started using TAOS in 2009 during a visit to SFO and was a loyal user stocking in supplies whenever I visited North America.However, quality of products is not he same. Most striking is the largest size having cream container I BUY. Midway through the product usage rest of the cream goes dry and is not as good to create a rich foam. Similarly new launch trial packs/complimentary are impossible to get despite requests. Shave oil and shave cream are the best only due to lack of competition.
The quality of this product is top notch amazing. The luxurious feel when I lather it up on my legs. The smooth feeling afterwards on my skin. The moisture it adds to my very dry skin. The amazing calming scent of lavender!I love everything about this product and would recommend it to anyone, but especially people with sensitive and/or dry skin.
The Unscented and the Bergamot & Neroli have been my goto products since TAoS dropped the Ocean Kelp line. Despite the name, the Unscented has a nice scent to it without being too strong. I would like to see additional "subtle" scent products. Hey, I would be the first in line if you decide to reintroduce Ocean Kelp. I have tried the other scents that TAoS has to offer. They are nice BUT way too strong for my taste.
