I could never have imagined The Beatles Abbey Road album sounding better until I heard the 2019 50th Anniversary remixed and remastered release of this album.EVERYTHING is cleaner, clearer, and the stereo separation is awesome, especially after have heard the previous strict 'right side-left side' separation of the original release.Great gift for any Beatles fan, and humanity in general.

Never deal with Electrolux or buys a Westinghouse fridgeFirstly, this overpriced esky would not keep anything colder than 15C without ice (see, a true esky), and now, after the 5 technician visits and 2 new parts it is keeping itself at -10C (not a good temperature for vegetables, butter... hmm, or anything actually.Of course, we get that products have mysterious flaws, but the fact that Westinghouse don't even know why it is not working but are keen to let us know it is not their faulty is woeful and opportunistic.

I have no issue with the music or album, however when I received the Vinyl the hole in the center was too big. This caused something called flutter which distorts the sound of the music every rotation. On some songs it isn't noticeable but on others it's really bad. This has essentiallyruined the vinyl for me and disencourages me to play my favourite songs :(

I just found out it was 180-gram vinyl. Walmart did not say it in the online ad. I bought thinking it was not since they did not say so. Walmart needs to do a better job about selling their vinyl. I ordered other ones that did not say they were 180-gram vinyl and yet to open them. Are they 180-gram too? Also, the ad did not give details on why the 25th anniversary edition was different enough to buy. They need someone who is into vinyl to help with the add because they seem clueless what the vinyl community is looking for.
Besides the songs being great. The sound quality is incredible. I have the original album, so I have compared them both. If you are looking to replace your old copies these remixed versions are the way to go. Everything is separated perfectly and clear. Nice thick bass tones. I love it!!! I've only had it for a week or 2 now and I've listened to it 4 times already.
Record was damaged at factory and was moderately warped. Mishandling of record during packing damaged record (an abrasion, not a scratch) so one song was totally unplayable without hearing the damaged area. The warp was not bad enough to cause tracking problems on my Audio-Technica AT-LP1240-USB Turntable with VM540ML cartridge but would probably skip on cheaper turntables without aniti-skating control. The songs that weren't damaged sounded great and Target will be sending me a replacement which I'm hoping will be damage-free.
Everything about this record is iconic. The band, the songs, even the cover. I've read a lot of bad reviews concerning this particular pressing, so I was worried I'd end up returning it, but I'm happy to say the record sounds great on my system. I do hear a low hum/hissing sound between tracks, but its hardly noticeable and I dont hear it during any of the actual songs. Perfect album!
The last track on side A is abruptly truncated. It is simply cut-off before the song actually ends.I suspect that this happened because it sounds to me that they have boosted the dynamic range of most of the music, especially the bass.That would likely cause the width of the tracks cut in the master to be wider, therefore using up more physical space.After doing that, there simply wasn't enough space to record the full content before reaching the run-out groove area, so the last track is simply clipped off!There is NO WAY they didn't know that was happening, and they decided to produce and sell the defective product anyway!
I bought this, thinking it must be better than the original, and was severely disappointed. This mix is homogenized, and sounds incredibly flat compared to the original mix I grew up with. I am now looking for a vintage album for my collection. Sad, but true.
superb remaster on 180 gram vinyl. perfect pressing. as for the music well we all know it. great. only 2 song's i never cared for... octopus garden & maxwell's silver hammer and still don't. other than that the rest great.
