I have been a very happy white must customer for years now. I was so disappointed when the Body Shop discontinued the fragrance, which was always my signature scent. When they recently re-indtoduced it, I was thrilled. However after receiving the re-vamped, reformulated scent, I was back to being disappointed. This seems like a watered down version of the original. The balance of fragrances seems off, and it does not have the same warmth as the previous one. I cannot understand why they had to re-formulate it, but sadly I will not be purchasing this again.

I have been using this for years but was disappointed this time, I couldn't really smell anything. Very weak. Usually lasts all day, infact I can normally still smell it on my clothes the following day but could hardly smell anything as soon as I had sprayed it. I bought the white musk eau de toilette and that was fine. Don't know if it was from a faulty batch but certainly didn't have any smell to it.

Although this is super light, I do think it still has the iconic white musk scent. It’s an inexpensive body mist, so my expectations aren’t for this to be some super long lasting scent, anyways. Other people can still smell it on you. It makes you smell clean and fresh. And it’s always been vegan! The reformulation is due to certain ingredient restrictions; it was a fixative that was removed. This will always be my favorite white musk scent.

I’ve been using this particular product for over 10 years and I still continue to get multiple compliments from men & women! The fragrance’s unique shower fresh smell is light and pleasurable to anyone who doesn’t like the overpowering smell of so many other body sprays on the market. Thanks Body Shop for always making this fragrance available, even though the “Musk” line had a better smell before the big change up…
This new version of White Must Fragrance Mist is a very poor comparison of the original. I understand the reasons for making it VEGAN, but so much of the fragrance has been lost. The smell is so diluted and does not linger for even half as long the original. Body Shop should have spent more time on the new formula, ensuring this version was not a poor second to the original. I am really disappointed as I have been wearing this fragrance as my 'day to day go to', for years. I haven't found a replacement yet, but I am definitely on the lookout !!

I would have given you 5 stars for this one but, for the fact this was a replacement bottle for one with my usual/regular (roughly 3 monthly) batch order of the White Musk Fragrances - i.e. Eau De Toilette, Perfume Oil and Fragrance Mist - because, unfortunately the one I received was missing the top bit of the spray aperture, just had a thin bit of plastic poking out when the lid was lifted off so, couldn't be used and I had a bit of difficulty trying to connect with a person to discuss. However, once I did (on live chat), you were more than helpful and sent me out a replacement bottle straight away, obviously at no extra cost. Been using white musk body mist for years. I stocked up on the purple box glass bottle. Was down to the last drops.New version-all clear glass bothle(no purple box) - why was the scent altered? It’s less of the scent I know as I still have some of the old left.I know I am not the only one that noticed this based on reviews.Why change something that’s good?
I feel bad giving this product a bad review, because I love The Body Shop. Always have. I have been wearing White Musk for many many many years. Went to The Body Shop a couple of days ago and they only had the New Vegan formula. I tried to smell it through my mask. Couldn’t smell it properly because of my mask. Bought it, brought it home. Tested it with my old one and it is slightly different. I’m not happy with it at all! PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA!! The old one was Vegetarian and now the new one is Vegan. I asked the worker what’s the difference between Vegetarian and Vegan. The Vegan has no honey. That’s it apparently. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA!!
I really just can not believe that a company would change a successful product of 41 years but, just imagine my astonishment when I discovered that White Musk now does not resemble the Body Shop White Musk of 41 years! It is horrifying, ghastly and hideous. I had to wash it off because it smells like a repulsive and offensive combination of bug spray and household cleaning products. It is also weak and nothing like the original for staying power. The new container design looks like repulsive, cheap rubbish.
