Smells DIVINE! I'm a huge fan of anything that smells like roses and when I laid my eyes on this body yoghurt, I knew I had to give it a try! I am sooo happy I did! I'm honestly in love with the scent, consistency of this product! Super lightweight and so moisturising! I l9ve the packaging, too. If you like roses, treat yourself!

This British rose body butter is so beautifully fragnced I get the smell of freshly cut roses after a summer storm. Who doesn't want to smell like that. Plus the body butter is best used after a shower an body is propley dried for best results unlike body yoghurt where U can apply to damp wet skin this stuff works very well on freshly shaved legs and arms leaving ur skin so hydrated an smelling exquisite. 5stars here for the body shop body butters plus you can get practically any smell I love body shop for there great products and great quality plus the prices r so good I can afford to look after my skin these days. Love body shop products.

Best Body Butter EVER!

I love this body butter! I was skeptical about it, because so many butters are heavy and take forever to absorb, so i only ordered the small size. Oh. My. GOD! This stuff is amazing! the scent it absolutely beautiful, exactly like a fresh cut rose but the formula is what impressed me most. Its so thick and creamy, i was loving it but was dreading that oily/sticky feel while waiting for it to fully absorb but no! its smooth and soaks into the skin almost immediately. I put this on and in minutes had gotten fully dress, in leggings no less! no stickiness, no oily feel. I'm on the site now to order the bigger size and maybe another scent or two! order this and you will NOT be disappointed!

I absolutely love this body butter!!! I wear it every single day and always get compliments on how good I always smell. The only drawback is whenever you find something you really love, they always have to make changes to it. I wish y'all would've kept it the way it was. I'm having to buy the travel size because you don't have the same exact one in the big one I've always bought! Any hopes in bringing it back??

Lovely Scent, But Not For Me

I will be honest and say that I don't really like floral scents, not at all. It's just a matter of preference -- they're just not me. However, I can appreciate a nice floral scent, I'll just never get one for myself since I've yet to find one that I like so much I want to constantly smell it on me (the one exception if the Honeymania line, which I do think is more floral than honey, but for some reason I love it). I admit that part of me wanted to talk her out of it, out of pure instinct from my dislike of floral scents, but I bought it for her since I'd promised she could choose any one she wanted.Now, one of my reasons for not liking floral scents is because if too strong, or if they linger for too long, I will develop really bad headaches, sometimes even horrendous migraines. However, I was really surprised to see that I had no issue with this product, despite my daughter practically bathing herself in this body butter (and actually, I guess she has bathed in it, at least in the British Rose bath foam). Further, while the scent really isn't for me, it is so perfect for her and smells wonderful on her. It's become her signature scent and now I'm quite fond of it because it makes me think of her. I'll even open her tub from time to time just to smell it and be reminded of her (weird, I know, but true).Finally, as with all TBS body butters, it works great. It has a lovely, satisfying richness. It absorbs well without feeling greasy. And, it leaves skin so soft and healthy. I also noticed that it really does give my daughter's skin a beautiful, healthy glow. It seriously makes her skin look so ethereal and beautiful. Granted, she's a pretty girl with lovely skin to begin with, but it really does give a noticeable glow. I'm not sure how else to describe it.So, all in all, although it is not a scent for me, it is beautiful, and has an enduring linger without being triggering for those more sensitive to smells. It really has grown on me, and dare I say it, I've become a bit of a fan, if even only by association.

I bought my first British rose scent by accident and was super skeptical. The last rose scented thing in my life I remember were these little rose shaped soaps my grandma kept in a dish over the toilet in the nineties. But I used this stuff and am literally addicted now. I have super dry winter skin- to the point where i rub down in baby oil post shower 50% of the time and then STILL apply lotion after. This stuff has really kept the most seriousness of my dryness away this winter. I rub this all over directly out of the shower and it can be a little powerful at first. If I run to get dressed too quickly after I can feel my leggings or skinnies not wanting to pull up. But this stuff just really works into the skin and makes me feel so soft all day. Smell is off...

I love the body shop body butter and have been on a rose kick: Herbal Essences Rose Hips, Love Beauty & Planet Murumuru Butter & Rose Body Wash, Dr. Bronner's Rose Castile Soap... you get the picture; so, when I saw this in Ulta, I grabbed it instantly. When I got home, I tore it open. First, the smell from the container was not good, but I figured it was the container, then I put it on and was disappointed that, in fact, it was the body butter itself that smelled off. Second, I had to rub it for almost 10 minutes before there was any saturation. It was just all over disappointing. My boyfriend made my day by getting me the almond milk and both the smell and saturation are great. Long story short- No to the British Rose... stick with the Almond Milk or Shea Butter.

takes a while to sink in

There is an ingredient in this lotion that gives it a slight pinkest tint on my skin. I am hoping that whatever it is, is still safe for my skin. Otherwise, this product is seems to be okay for my skin. It's soothing, and compatible. I also like the way it smells. It takes a long time though for it to sink into the skin, so just be aware. I like taking this to the office with me, I work a night shift, so I don't mind it taking the time to soak in, but also wanna keep my hands hydrated in the winter months. I think it's key. I'd rather use the body butters on my hands, and the body yogurt on the rest of my body (arms and legs) but I exclude my face, as I don't want my fine pores clogged there.
