I've recently been obsessed with hair oils, keeping my hair color longer, and hair breakage. The Body Shop had one of their sales, so I picked this up to try it out. And I'm sold! It's not exactly fun coating my very long hair with oil, but it smells amazing, and my hair LOVES it. I have soft, baby-fine hair to begin with, but this oil blends makes my hair impossibly soft! You can't beat the price for the amount of oil in the bottle. For my long hair, there's maybe 6-7 full uses, but much more for hair that's shoulder length or shorter. You can also just treat your ends, but I like the oil on my scalp.

I have really fine hair but a lot of it. Until recently it was almost at my waist and I swear this is one of the reasons it grew that long! A little goes a REALLY long way, it smells beautiful and leaves your hair so sleek! I like to apply it a bit more generously and leave it on overnight and when I wash my hair in the morning it is so soft and shiny!

I had used a hair oil sample in the past but wanted to try an affordable option that I could use in my hair care routine. This oil is amazing for the price. I run it through my hair 10 minutes before a shower and it makes a huge improvement to my hair condition once it’s dry! I can go longer without washes and it looks silky and smooth!

Amazing Results

I bought this to try on my fine wavy gray hair and my daughter's dyed curly hair. We applied it to our scalps and hair then put on shower caps. We left the oil on for about 4 hours then washed it with an organic coconut shampoo from another company. We each used a very small amount of detangling condition afterwards. The results were that both our hair had a incredible shine and soft texture. We are very impressed with this product.

Best De-frizzer Ever

Don't just use this as a pre-shampoo treatment. It is hands down the best POST-shampoo anti-frizz treatment ever. Works best applied to damp hair, but also works on dry. The best smoother on thick, frizzy hair that I've found. Leaves hair soft and smooth, this oil is light and doesn't leave hair at all oily feeling when dry.

Fantastic for mixed race hair

I actually use this stuff before I condition and it makes an amazing difference. I have think, ethnic, curly hair. It helps add an extra layer of moisture. I do like to brush my hair out and i'm sure that wouldn't happen without this oil.

Works well

When I apply the Coconut Oil Brilliantly Nourishing Pre-Shampoo Hair Oil the night before I wash my hair, my hair does wind up smoother and less tangled.I smell like coconut when I use it, but the scent does wash out.I wish it were a better all-over leave-in conditioner. They suggest to use it on the ends, not as an all-over leave-in conditioner.

after one use my hair are stronger, fuller, bouncy and look shiny. the oil has delicate and great smell. smells like creamy coconut milk. I use it as a pre wash oil, night treatment and to moisture ends of my hair. hair doesn't look oily but moisturized and bouncy.
