The smell is absolutely amazing! I was given a generous birthday discount as well :) Very pleased! Comparing it to a supermarket pink grapefruit shower gel this one is markedly more expensive but the difference in smell is amazing - the Body Shop one genuinely smells of pink grapefruit whereas the supermarket one smells a little chemically.

A gentle but effective shower gel with a refreshing scent. It has been my favourite for years. But why, Body Shop, do you no longer sell it in the large size. Especially when we are concerned about plastic waste it seems a bad mistake. I have mentioned this before on this site, but had no response from Body Shop, a company initially renowned for its conservation policies which, according to its brand manifesto, still maintains those ideals.

I bought this because my favourite body shop mango shower gel has not only changed packaging but seems to have changed smell as well - which was extremely disappointing. The only other fragrance I liked was this one. Fortunately it is almost as nice as the old mango one. Yay!

Lovely shower gel, been using it for years now. My skin can be sensitive at times but I've never had any sort of reaction to this. Leaves my skin really soft and smooth. And the wonderfully fresh and clean pink grapefruit fragrance is addictive, just gorgeous! I would say it's a bit pricey but it lathers up lovely with just a small amount so a little goes a long way. I always buy the bigger pump bottle when its on offer, so it's great value then and the pump is so much handier than the smaller bottles. I love the fragrance so much I also use the matching eau de toilette and body spray, and the hand wash.
The new green bottle tops are really difficult to open. I’m in my 20s with no joint problems, and I seriously struggle to open my shower gel now that they’ve changed the design! The actual shower gel is great - smells amazing and does the job, but I won’t be buying any more unless the bottle design is made more accessible! It’s painful to open!
It’s pure, no additives. Amazing aroma. My favorite. Leaves my very fragile skin nice and soft with a soft, clean scent. I use every day after my Sauna. I live on the East coast of the mainland. Reminds me of Hawaii. Most amazing place in the world. Mahalo & Aloha
I love the body shop products especially shower gels however i find the scent of this one a bit off putting. When you first smell it is smells nice but the tangy scent sort of reminds me of b.o. I don’t know if this is just my nose or possibly even just my product. The actually products works well though. Lathers up well and makes you feel clean.
I have been a fan of this scent for 20 years. There was a time when I could not purchase it and any other grapefruit scented body wash/cream did not come close to the true citrus scent of the grapefuit. So happy to have it. I bought THREE large bottles when I could afford. I absolutely reccomend at least trying a small body wash and body butter in this scent. See what you smell.
I love the light, fresh grapefruit scent of this shower gel. I can’t tolerate perfumy or fake citrus scents. This Body Shop grapefruit and the satsuma both have a great, light citrus scent that makes my bathroom smell like a spa. Even my husband loves the smell of these. And they make your skin feel fresh and clean.
I must add, this only applies to the LOCAL Australian product selection team - NOT to the Body Shop globally. In general, the Body Shop US and UK were very helpful with my product inquiries, although they did ask WHY I hadn't gone through "my local channels, in Australia". This is WHY.My purchase was in December 2019, for Christmas.The reason I purchased the Pink Grapefruit fragrance was because my wife's favorite fragrance (Satsuma) was no longer being sold by Body Shop Australia ONLY.It is however, still freely available in the rest of the world. Indeed in the past, before the postage price from overseas went crazy, I got (4) 750ml bottles sent from the UK to Australia myself. Satsuma is back!. Supposedly as a "limited release", however there is NOTHING different about the containers, nothing on their labels to suggest "get it now, or miss out forever" so I'm calling out the Australian product planners as playing a rather childish cynical game. Either that, or they got SO roasted by their loyal buyers (that's us) for getting rid of Satsuma in the first place, that they've returned it to the local line-up albeit in "limited quantity" to save face.Hmmmm.
