I developed acne rosacea which was diagnosed by a consultant who prescribed antibiotics. These worked whilst I was using them, but it came back as soon as I stopped. I did extensive research until I came across an article which described how the mites that cause. The scent is very strong, the ingredients are very good and the price is very good. And is so sweaty the packaging.

The Body Shop’s Tea Tree range is one of the longest standing blemish fighting skincare ranges in existence. I had the face wash and oil when I was 12/13 and so had countless others before me and countless others after. So let’s welcome some new additions to this timeless family. Skin Clearing Foaming Cleanser - This has got to be my favourite product in the Tea Tree range that I have tried so far! The foaming cleanser is purifying with Tea Tree and is suitable for blemished skin, which is great for everyone! From the name, you can easily understand that this is a foaming cleanser. (Foaming cleanser is a type of cleanser where the actual product is a runny water-like liquid, but comes as a foam when nozzle is pressed.) I used a pump and a half to wash(or cleanse in this case), my entire face and neck. I first take the foam place it over the effected area for about 20-30 seconds. You might find a slight tingling sensation, which is obvious due to the action of tea tree oil, on the area. Then, slightly massage and wash it off with water. It removes all the dirt, when left might cause pore clogging, which in turn result in breakouts. This is a good option for normal to oily skin types. But, for dry skin types, this might be slightly drying. (My skin is pretty normal. So, I didn’t have this problem). So, people with dry skin must ensure that they follow up a good moisturiser after cleansing. This does have smell, but the smell isn’t overpowering . I’m fond of the smell, cause I have already tried a couple of other products from this range. The smell isn’t sweet. Its a bit of sour-y type of smell. I felt that its smell is kind of the freshly crushed leaves.(I am bad at describing the smell. So, Please excuse me for that!).Skin Clearing Toner - Mirroring with the review above, this product has to be the my least favourite of the items I purchased in the Tea Tree range at The Body Shop! I loved it the first time I used it but as I used it a few times, I noticed that it was leaving my skin very dry and quite sore, if I'm honest! It lists alcohol as the second ingredient and also contains a host of other problematic ingredients that won’t improve matters for blemish-prone skin. Alcohol in this amount causes dryness, free-radical damage, and irritation that can stimulate more oil production at the base of your pores. The anti-irritants this contains won’t be of much help due to the irritating ingredients that dull their impact. From experience with this product myself, it works for me if I only use it very rarely because over-use of this product leaves my skin feeling very sore and dry, especially on my t-zone. Tea Tree Lotion - When our skin is dry, we’re tempted to reach for a super-thick lotion and hope our pores don’t get clogged. That’s all about to change. This lotion is lightweight, non-greasy, and enhanced with Community Fair Trade organic tea tree oil from Kenya, which sinks into the skin to provide hydration, oil control, and blemish prevention. So slather it on without thinking twice—and say goodbye to parched skin - this product is lovely on the skin and you can hardly feel it after application, it leaves your skin feeling flawless after first use! The only down fall that I have with this product is the size of the contents because the bottle is very small compared to the other items in the range.. However, saying that - a small bit goes a VERY long way!I love The Body Shop and I'm sure once you've tried out their products then you will too!

Okay, I have a lot of different feelings about this facial wash, so this review is going to be a teeny bit longwinded. I ordered this because a friend of mine recommended it to me to help with the acne I recently started getting after changing the type of birth control I’d been using. I got it in the mail, very quickly I might add, and started using it straightaway. The smell was not too strong, not too intense, just very mild. Okay, I personally prefer something a little bit stronger in scent but that’s just my personal choice. In terms of the wash itself, I was really disappointed that I didn’t get a really strong tingling feeling from the tea tree oil, but my face was left cleaner and after a few days I started seeing an improvement in my acne. Now, the pro tip I found, was using it in conjunction with another couple of products that also contain tea tree oil. The result, is pure, amazing face. I cannot believe it! Basically I started using my sulfur mask as an exfoliator which clears up the irritated spots on my skin and evens my complexion, I then use the Body Shop facial wash, which works great at cleaning out my pores and reducing oil around my acne, and then I finish with a tea tree oil that works really well at spot treatment for my pimples. I’ve been following this regimen for about three weeks and my skin has never looked so clear. It’s absolutely amazing. I definitely recommend to anyone with troubled skin.

It effectively reduces shine and helps clear up breakouts, leaving the skin feeling fresh and clean. The natural tea tree oil gives a refreshing scent and provides antibacterial benefits, while the lightweight formula absorbs quickly without leaving any residue. Overall, it's a reliable and effective toner that delivers noticeable results, making it a worthwhile addition to any skincare routine.

I use this before bed and have done for years. I love the tingling feeling it gives when applied to your face, it cleanses and tones at the same time. Helps to keep away spots. Some great ingredients for your skin with amazing benefits. The packaging is great as well I love the green bottle with the pipet.

I like the whole Body Shop tea tree line because it works good for the acne prone skin. I don’t have that many acne problems, but once in a while I would get some pimples and this toner helps to prevent those and helps to dry them up. I don’t have any problem with the smell of the toner. I like tea tree smell. This toner also has a good packaging that is easy to use and has good value for money. Would recommend.

My skin hated this

I bought this product after seeing so many promising reviews from several different sources. I have seriously oily skin, blackhead prone and deal monthly with hormonal acne on my chin/ jawline. Otherwise my skin is very clear and nonproblematic. I used this product knowing full well I wouldn't be fond of the alcohol but proceeded anyway. 12 hours after using it my face was a mess. I had white heads on my nose, forehead, temples and cheeks. All areas I have never had issues with. I figured this may be a purging process so I moved forward for 4 more days until I couldn't handle it anymore. This product only made my face more and more angry. I know 5 days of use isn't very reliable but for me having breakouts in areas that never have issues, I knew it was the product. ... MoreI bought this product after seeing so many promising reviews from several different sources. I ultimately returned it. With that said, I'm a firm believer that you should never put alcohol on your face so if you have sensitive skin, be aware. This product also has sediment that sits at the bottom and must be shaken before each use. This may be annoying for some. The smell is strong, didn't bother me but could be bothersome for individuals with sensitive noses. I didn't see any redness from the alcohol but I did feel a mild burning sensation. I also experienced some drying on my chin and mouth area. I can't say I experienced any hydrating effects however it did lessen my oil production which was a plus. Not enough of a plus for me to continue use but at least it did something.
