This recipe book is full of practical, easy to make, tasty recipes. As someone who has a slight addiction to recipe books this one stands out. As most recipe books I might make a few things from it, or they might seem too complicated with expensive ingredients. This book has so many easy recipes to make on the run and they are delicious. I don't want to make one or two things, but want to try them all! This is the healthiest I have eaten in my life and they make it so doable for a busy mum. The healthiest, longest living people are those that eat a mainly vegetable diet, something I have wanted to do for a long time. This book showed me how I can fit it into my busy life. Looking forward to trying all the other recipes over time. If you want a low carb cook book for whatever plan you are following this is the one for you.

Recipes are all very fresh and healthy and a pleasure. There is a second 800 book which I also purchased. They are great. Ingredients are easily obtained and familiar.

Got this after seeing my daughters copy of this book. Really like that each recipe quotes fats, carbs as well as calories and wonderful pictures which is what I like. Pleased with my purchase. Very quick posting
This program is so well thought through. The main book Fast 800 outlined the philosophy and health benefits of the program. The recipe book supports you with cooking ideas and meal plans and the journal helps you track your progress: daily, weekly and monthly.
The Fast 800 books are not just diet and recipe books, they are life changes. Combined the fast 800 diet book the fast 800 recipe book are fantastic. My wife and I started the fast 800 diet /book and after less than two months my wife has lost 12 plus kilos and I've dropped from 85 to 78 kgs. The fast 800 recipe make it easy to stick to the diet with heaps of great tasting recipes that are easy to understand with options for the 800 days and the non 800 days. These books are well written easy to understand and following. I have since purchased three additional books as gifts to friends and others have bought their own books and rave about how their lives have changed.
If you are a type 2 diabetic, and struggling with losing carbs from your diet, give this book a chance. There are lots of interesting and tasty dishes, plus good ideas for substitutes, also tips on what you can and should eat, plus easy to follow cooking instructions. Even my wife (who is not diabetic) is looking forward to some of the recipes, and we have been experimenting and trying out new things daily. Another nice thing about this particular book, is the author is a type 2 diabetic herself, and A GP, so has done the research and is written in a helpull manner by someone in the same situation as me..
I needed to reduce my weight quickly, so for this I followed the 8-Week Lo carb diet Recipe Book then I went back to the Fast 800 recipe book, which follows similar meal plans, not quite as specifically as the 8-Week book. My personal needs at the time required that I started there. Now Im using some of the Fast 800 and some of my favourite recipes from the other, first book to maintain the weight loss and keep healthy. Because, as it is happened to be in a time of sort of lockdown I was able to concentrate on the job at hand really well. There are so many great things to learn from these books, and you are loosing weight too. !
This is a well thought out recipe book. They are easy to cook, calorie controlled and the ingredients are varied. Split into useful categories for ease of use. Helpful additional ingredients to make meals for those not on diets or just cheats for when you need something when not on a dieting day. Overall a great book. I have had a copy for ages and I bought this one for a friend who is also on a diet.
This is a superb recipe 800 calories book. The recipes are easy to do and achieve. Lovely illustrations. This also informs you of details about what each recipe contains, regarding the fat protein carbs calories etc. The book is so good that I have bought three copies so far to give to my family and friends. Recommended.
